I thought it was a coffee shop but it's more of a sit down place with table service. Not cozy, not comfortable, not overly friendly. It's a far cry from the well established coffee houses in the area like Buon Giorno or Redefined. Temple Coffee is a delightful but simple atmosphere with great customer service. I previously had lunch there and the sandwich was very tasty. Today stopped after lunch for a ice cafe Mocha and it was maybe the best one I have every had. I wish they opened at 7am because I would meet people for business there more often, but that is my only suggestion to improve. This is exactly the type of establishment that is needed in the Colleyville Mainstreet zone (just need 10 more desireable boutique retail and drink places). read more

OK so I love this place and let me tell you why. I love the quaint of walking in through the pretty archway and the few bistro tables out front where you can sit on a nice day. There's plenty of seating inside for one person two person or bigger parties it's clean the food is absolutely delicious. The service is even better, and the prices are reasonable .. Each time I've come there's been one employee waiting on all the tables, cleaning the tables and working the counter and making the coffee beverages and she does an amazing job at all of it. They have a bottomless cup of coffee that comes with warmed half-and-half that alone is enough to get me coming back- Did I say bottomless?!! The banana brûlée latte and mochas were so good. They also served breakfast all day so got the Turkey egg white omelet which was fresh and tasty as well. We also ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and a side of the tomato soup. Loved the tomato soup, very rich and flavorful. The wrap was great as well, good dressing ratio and the chicken was nicely toasted. The wrap was also toasted which was a nice touch. Overall fantastic experience. What a great addition to this area!! This area of Colleyville needs more businesses like this. Upon entering, the restaurant is clean and SO cozy! Please be patient as they have a very small staff. Service was so friendly! The coffee is yummy and bottomless! They even heat up the cream for you and put it in an adorable little jar. They have a GREAT menu with many selections. I was amazed by how yummy the goat cheese and arugula sandwich was (didn't sound good at all to me but IT WAS). Not to mention they have some of the best tomato soup! What a cute little gem tucked away in Colleyville downtown area. We decided to check out this new local spot for a friends birthday breakfast and just fell in love with it. I opted for a decaf French press and the egg white frittata! So good and light! As we were there (for about 2.5 hours) we saw friends, neighbors, and so much activity in this spot. This is a great place for a quick or long meet-up! The staff is great. Dogs allowed outside and they will bring you water for your pup. I really want something to succeed in this spot so im giving Temple an optimistic 4 stars. They did a great job with decor and it's a great spot for a cozy breakfast or lunch. The flavors of the food are good, but i felt like some of the dishes lacked balance, like maybe the sandwich was too bready or the bowl had an odd veggie balance. I will keep giving it chances though, because it really has a ton of potential. The service is okay. Mixed reviews today though, 3-4 employees working and still figuring things out. We ordered a nonfat cappuccino and were charged extra for non fat milk...when I inquired why (we aren't talking soy almond or oat, simply skim milk) they said skim milk cost more? With that approach I don't have a lot of optimism for long term success. Received more of a latte than a cappuccino. There were two people in front of me in line and 2-3 sitting in the cafe as well. We have been here once before and the food was really good. Today we went in again about 3:15 pm and yes we realized it was later but their online app said they were open to 4::00 pm. We were informed that the kitchen was already closed. We just feel like the kitchen should be open for all the hours you advertise otherwise your hours should say open till 3:00pm read more

I wanted to like this place. It's cute and in a nice area. I ordered the Quiche Florentine and a cortado. The cortado was top 5 worst I've had. I took a few sips and felt like I didn't really want anymore. No velvety texture, no crema, lacked any real robust flavor and fell weak on the backend of the palate. The quiche was cool, a bit dry with more pastry crust than actual egg, spinach, cheese etc. It didn't taste homemade or fresh but premade and heated up in a microwave. Photos of this location, food and coffee look much more enticing than they really are. I ate half of one quiche before I was like I can't do this anymore. read more

I have a wonderful time, my husband and I enjoyed our food and the brown sugar latte! However, it's a super small place, it was a busy Saturday afternoon. When my husband and I got there we stood and waited to be seated for a good while and then finally the very very sweet lady took our order and said "let's order now and have your table ready and the food will be out by the time you guys are seated" sweet! Sounds good. We waited for a good while, and then the lady just gave us our food while we were seated on the bar waiting area...not the table but ok. Then 3 different parties were sat at tables. I got the grilled cheese and tomatoe soup and he got the BLT wrap, I found my grilled cheese really good, he wasn't fond of the BLT wrap (a little over priced but I don't think that is a deciding factor in how I rate this place) but one thing we agreed on was the REALLY GOOD Brown sugar lattes! I just think the table situation is a bit all over the place but over all, amazing food and amazing service, just not the most organized. First time here today and I'm really impressed! Their menu is pretty extensive in brunch/lunch options but I got a basic bacon egg and cheese bagel and it's legitimately the best I've had. Wife and I decided to try this place this morning. Food was excellent, but food was not the problem. First, it took forever to receive our orders. We ordered the Croque Madame and the eggs Benedict. Croque Madam had partially burned bread on bottom side, though edible. Wife's eggs Benedict came with a side salad, a little unusual but they asked her if she would prefer another side. She said the breakfast potatoes. Much to our surprise, she was charged 4.49 extra for the potatoes. No mention of this and first was when we got check. I ordered unsweetened tea. She asked if I wanted 12 or 16 oz. I asked if there was a price difference, thinking it's just tea. Well, they charged me 4.25 for a glass of tea. That's ridiculous!
