    Alaskan Waffle Dangerously AMAZZZING ‍

Thank You Chef Besim!! Not only do you own one of my FAVORITE Brunch spots but the magic you create in that kitchen ALWAYS has me coming back!

I enjoyed my breakfast at Lone Star Brunch. The menu is expansive, so there's something for everyone. I thought the food pricing was fair, although the drip coffee was a little pricey and not that great. Service was just okay. I was one of two people in the whole place and my server did not stop by frequently. The other server would have to prompt her to come out from the back. Everything was really clean and the decor was nice and modern. The bathrooms were very clean too. They also offered complimentary feminine hygiene products, which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, I would come back to visit Lone Star Brunch if I was in the area. I really enjoyed my meal.

Good tasting food here. Breakfast was worth the trip. The server was very attentive to our table. I'd recommend giving them a try if you are in the area.

I was hungry and wanted to avoid the traffic madness of Heritage Trace and I wanted something similar to First Watch without the struggle to park or long wait for seating. I just happened to look over in my drive home and see Lone Star Brunch. I was parking my car at their cafe so fast. It's very bright and clean with modern decor which actually wasn't the impression I was getting from the exterior. Lone Star Brunch is open 7am-3pm 7 days a week. I ordered the Classic American breakfast which gives you 2 eggs, hash browns, grits or fruit and the choice of toast or a pancake. I chose hash browns and sourdough toast. The meat choice is bacon, ham or sausage so I went with bacon. On their pancake section of the menu they have six different varieties. And yall on the waffle section of the menu they have an Alaskan Waffle that involves pecans and ice cream and I feel this is something I need to go back to try. Do you like water? The drinks are overpriced. For those who prefer lunch fare there are salads, burgers, paninis and wraps. I pay attention to music every where and truly enjoyed their playlist while I dined. I look forward to dining here again.

Our first time here; the food was amazing!!!! I had the Fort Worth Scrabble which was loaded with chicken, mushrooms, bell peppers and smothered with cheddar cheese over hashbrowns. Hubby had the "For dad" with 2eggs, 3 bacon, and pancakes. Waitress was super friendly, although she did get angry at the door greeter for taking someone's drink order. Not sure what that was about, they obviously have issues... lol, but everything else was spiffy!!!

We got the biscuit and gravy omelet and it was delicious and huge. If we had known just how big it was we would have split one

Service is very friendly, super accommodating. Restaurant is super clean. Fair warning: 1) Food is on the pricier side. 2) This is not fast food. It will take a minute for them to prep because it's fresh. On a non-busy day my food will take about 7-10 minutes. If they're busy, longer. However, they do have an app you can pre-order from.

I forgot when it was going to end so I missed the last category sadly, but now I can confidently say they have great sandwiches, bowls and salads! I used to always get the teriyaki chicken bowl, but have since varied up my order and now the Citrus Thai salad with chicken is my go to! It's so good and filling while being light! I also love the club sandwich and the grinder is great too. My husband doesn't eat "bowls" much but I got him to try one and he really liked the Korean steak, I tried a bite as well and thought the flavor was very good and not too spicy. I looooove their rice and I really appreciate that the veggie mix includes Brussel sprouts. Their avocado toast is a great breakfast as well. I've tried smoothies/juice/parfait and all were fine but personally I just prefer to go to Nekter or Smoothie King for that stuff. The rewards program is pretty decent as well! Random offers and deals are a nice surprise! They're getting plenty of my money and will continue to do so hahaha

She walked us through the menu and gave some recommendations. We had the Chef Joey Cabernet which was delicious. Next we ordered the charcuterie plate with the two procuittos (cooked and cured), truffle pecorino, and smoked Gouda. The boards were HUGE! I wish I had taken a pic. My husband and uncle both got the steak which looked delicious. My aunt got the lasagna and said it was really good. I built my own with the parm cream sauce and chicken parm meatballs- Avary said that was almost exactly her order and it was truly delicious. The portions were generous so we all had leftovers to bring home. Last was the cannoli experience which was so yummy and fun. It came with 6 mini cannolis in the order and plenty of fillings and garnishes to go around. Overall it was a delicious dinner and wonderful experience. I'd love to sit on the patio next time as it looked like the perfect setting for a girls dinner or happy hour. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Ethan was our server and we had lots of questions and he answered a lot of questions we had about the sauces and he answered them well. I had the tony's steak meatball with the Parmesan cream sauce and gnocchi and it was to DIE for. I also would like to try basil pesto or vodka sauce but the cream sauce was so insanely good with the pillowy gnocchi that I just don't think I could bear to not get it every time. I definitely would try the sausage meatballs, which my husband got and they were good. The steak meatballs were good but I really like steak-- I think it needs to be your thing. Overall, this has become my new need to go place in north Fort Worth when we are here. I'm going to be dreaming about this place.

I was originally planning to go to another famous burger place in town, but this American food…read morerestaurant looked and sounded really good from the photos and menu and was close to my hotel. I visited during lunch so I took advantage of the lunch burger special for $3 off. Horizon 76 turned out to be good for another entree I was craving 2 days later, so I returned a 2nd time. They sat us in the same table unknowingly and I even sat in the same seat. We also had the same waiter and he of course remembered us and our drink order from last time. How's that for customer service? On my first visit I ordered a tea and original horizon burger and added a cup of chili, which isn't really listed on the menu but they can addit to your burger for a few dollars more. I had wanted to try the bone-in burger, but they don't offer it anymore. My friend who lives in Ft Worth had not heard of this place that opened around 2020, but then again he doesn't get out much. Burger - this is a very good burger and I would put it up against the best burgers in town. I don't live here, but I bet it would be in the top 3 for any burger enthusiast that likes thick burgers. The sweet sourdough bun really makes this taste even better, not to mention when you have steak blends in your patty, it elevates it quite a bit. Fries - I've had several duck fries around the country and these were not that good. Not much seasoning at all. Tasted like typical frozen breaded fries flash fried in duck fat. Side of chili - small amounts of anything are usually tasty, this chili is no exception. Filled with beans and comes in like a shot glass. They don't give you much as a side. I guess they prefer you to order the $16 chili entree. On my second visit, my buddy and I were craving a good chicken fried steak. We decided to visit here since you rarely see filet / tenderloin as the protein in CFS, plus knowing the burger was awesome, we figured the CFS was probably good too. For my sides, I chose grilled veggies and loaded baked potato. CFS - This was a good version but I didn't really like the breading due to its color and high flour content. I prefer a darker greasier one. The meat was what I came for mainly and it was really good tenderloin pounded pretty dang thin. Not overly breaded, surprisingly. The veggie medley is truly a mix of about 8 different veggies, which you rarely see. Most grilled veggie sides are 3-4 at most. Overall, my best friend was super impressed and now he wants to return to their BBQ restaurant next door. I was also impressed, but I would come back for a burger or another entree next time.
