I got my food to go and the wait was about 10 mins which was pretty reasonable to me and the food was well worth the wait. I also got Sticky Rice and unfortunately they ran out of mangoes but it was PHENOMENAL even without them. (Sorry no pic) The rice was also PHENOMENAL and it was seasoned to perfection and I did not even use or feel the need to use soy sauce. This place was so cute! The food was so delicious and flavorful. The spice level was perfect. I got a 2 and it had a good kick but not over powering. If you get a 5 be careful! The servers were so kind and they helped me with the menu since it was my first time. The restaurant ambience was a little off though. I would have loved if they played some music and dimmed the lights. It looks like it used to be some kind of doctor's office and the lighting was throwing me off. It was also awkwardly quiet lol. I've been looking for a solid Thai place where I can get some good pad Thai for a while ever since we moved here and I have finally found it!! The flavor was spot on, not too sweet, just the right amount of tanginess and extremely well balanced. I will definitely be back, the guy working there was super kind, and the service was fast! It's funny how as soon as I walked in and looked around, I knew it would be good, they had 4 groups there and it was almost closing time so that's always a good sign on a random Thursday night. read more

Excellent curry and service at this new location of Mai Thai! The ambience is a bit like you're sitting in a fish bowl. This may be why there was a steady stream of pick up orders coming in and out during our visit. We all enjoyed our entrees: tom soup, fried rice, spring rolls, egg rolls (veggie and chicken), and the green curry. We will be back to try more dishes, or maybe have it delivered. ;) read more

I haven't been here since they've changed locations. Just as good as ever. I had the pad see ew. Ordered level 5 on the spicy scale. So delicious. We also had the spicy edename. Also very good. We came in to order in person for a large party. Allison was very helpful and helped us thru out our catering order. She was very understanding. We came to pick up the order and everything was made fresh and on time. Everyone enjoyed the food. Food is awesome, place is clean, and Allison and staff is so nice and friendly. I have been here 3 times now (sorry didn't review yet..I thought I did) and all 3 times I have enjoyed the food quite a bit. First was basic: I was driving Uber eats and got hungry, and since I was in the area I decided to try this place. So, I simply got an order of fried rice (pineapple fried rice, I think) and it was very good. The second time was for me, my child (16 years old at the time), and my wife, as a carry out. I tried the red curry and it was amazing. My child never had curry and it messed with his stomach (no clue what about it, but it didn't settle well with him), but he said it was good when he was eating it lol. My wife isn't a fan of Thai, but just got the orange chicken and she liked it. The third time was just my wife and I around Christmas and decided we really needed a date night, so we went there and ate. I got the red curry again and she stuck with the orange chicken. I really enjoyed mine once again and my wife said her's was good, though for some reason this time it was far sweeter than orange chicken should be, but she still enjoyed it. Overall, this is an amazing Thai restaurant, which is good since it's the only Asian place anywhere near us (live in Haslet now) with exception to Panda Express (which, let's face it, isn't Asian at all, but I digress) and I know we'll order from here again at some point in the future. Do not go here. The food sucks. We went here because of the numerous positive reviews on Yelp. We regretted our decision as soon as we walked through the door. The place had a weird smell and had 4 people in it on a Saturday around lunchtime. But we stayed because of the reviews. The service and can of Coke was the highlight. We ordered green curry and pad kee mao. These are our two staple dishes. Green curry was the worse we ever had. Chicken had a weird texture and the curry was way too sweet. Food took a long time to come. But On a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the best, it gets a -5. Pad kee mao was better. Noodles were nicely stir fried. I give it a 5. We ordered a thai tea, but were told after 10 minutes they had none. I don't normally write reviews, but the food was horrendous. The place is not "cute" as another reviewer posted so it makes me question if we even ate at the same place. Anyways, we ate half the pad kee mao and maybe 25% of the curry (if that much). Amazing food and amazing friendly service. I got the beef fried rice and beef and broccoli. I also got the butterfly fried shrimp for an appetizer. They all were incredible. The beef was so tender and moist and the broccoli was cooked perfectly and the brown sauce was a perfect flavor. The fried rice was flavorful and moist. I almost didn't get the shrimp appetizer but so glad I did as they were perfectly cooked and flavored. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. read more

The food is fantastic. But the takeout service is horrible. Order should have taken an hour which issue ridiculous to begin with. But after arriving at the hour interval we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. This has happened both times we have ordered. Again love the food, but the ridiculous inability of doing take out makes me not want to come here again. read more

I just wanted to give you guys an update. I've gone back twice since my first review and my boyfriend absolutely loves it. I know that's way too much Thai food for less than a week and a half but I really do like it and enjoy trying new items on the menu. We've been loyal customers for the last few years and this move has been amazing for them and us! Every time we walk in, the place is packed and the door is constantly swinging with Togo orders. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! I ordered online for delivery after looking at the Yelp reviews. I braced myself for disappointment but there was no need to do so. On arrival, every offering was tasty and scrumptious. What a delight. All items were hot -- glad I left a good tip to the delivery guy. I lived in Thailand for several long periods. This food rivals offerings in country. Here's our order: Orange Chicken; Shrimp Spring Rolls; Crab Rangoon; Coconut Soup with Shrimp*** Cashew Delight Caramel Fudge Cheesecake *** = Superb, as in over the top. And that's sayin' something given that every single foodstuff was excellent. ****A shout out to GrubHub too. Mai Thai couldn't fulfill part of my order. Within minutes of my online placement I got a call from a Chicago area number from a GrubHub worker to inform me of the change and the refund. Impressive. Sorry, I didn't take any pix. Such a hidden gem in Haslet! Holy Moly!! Probably the best Thai I've had in Dallas. We had a soup and Pad See Ew both were the best I've ever had. Our server was new but we could see how hard she was trying to do a great job and she achieved that. Would come back again and recommend this place to anyone. PS. I am very picky on my Asian/thai/ Lao food. Especially growing up having eating the best meals cooked from mom and auntie that ever and her own Thai restaurant. For 3 meals and crab ragoon it was almost 100 dollars. The portions were horrible. I ordered hot fried rice with shrimp and the tails were still on. Making me have to dig the shrimp out and take the tail off with my fingers FOR FRIED RICE! The ragoons tasted raw. Not to mention I had to wait an hour for delivery. Worst food and service I've had. My review has more to do with the restaurant service than the food itself. There is only one waiter, yes the place is small but it gets VERY busy so one waiter is not a good idea. We sat for about 25 mins watching as he took other tables orders and then finally came over to our table after we asked. Next we placed the order, not a huge issue but if I ask you for a single egg roll with my meal then it would be nice to let me know that you don't sell them individually, only by fours. Don't just bring four to the table. This is NOT an ideal place for lunch. The food was very fresh but it would be better to come for dinner or order to go. Overall it was good but I probably wouldn't come back for lunch since it is a pretty long wait. read more

I always end up ordering more than what I can eat, so i usually order dinner here and then take my leftovers for lunch to work the next day.
