Amazingly great food, but the portions are so tiny. Unbelievably sparse. if you are dieting and need to have a splash of taste, then I recommend visiting here. Please fix your app!! I love chicken salad chick it is my monthly treat of a lunch break I give myself. For the last 2 months I have had major issues with the app. I have been double charged for orders, have somehow double ordered when the app never showed me the order was placed. Today I was charged for an order and then once I made it to the location was told the order was never placed. When I showed them the charge they said it would fall off my statements and offered to create a whole new order. I don't know why it took us so long to try Chicken Salad Chick. There are so many selections and so much seating available that it's perfect for a lunch location. My go-to has been the BLT on toasted wheat with a scoop of the kicking kay lynne and a side of soup or Mac and cheese. I dunno what I thought, like the mascot of a chicken salad place was a baby chicken. Kinda dark. But, not the vibe at all. The menu items include Sassy Scotty, Fancy Nancy, Cranberry Kelli, etc. All the chicken salad chicks, by name. There's even a picture of them in the front, all from the same family of founders. We are a keto/candida couple. So, it's pretty hard to find places to eat. Not only is the food friendly to our food restrictions, it's super good and filling. We do the two scoops with lettuce to wrap option. I like the Sassy Scotty and Lauryn Lemon Herb, both carb free. For $8 it fills me up. We cam three times in a week and manager came to recognize us. A friendly guy, he's very accommodating and customer oriented. Judging by the service ethic, communication strength, and upbeat attitude of the workers there, he's doing a good job. Came in the first day to a restaurant that was busy but everybody was polite and keeping everyone moving. Before we got to the counter we got samples to try and it was awesome. Meh. On the plus side, I must say the original chicken salad is pretty darn perfect, probably the best I've had at a restaurant. It has exactly the consistency and flavor that I like. Very impressed with the signature dish. On the other hand, the egg salad was horrrrible. I suppose I should take some of the blame for my bad experience here; I should have taken the menu seriously when it said they use sweet pickle. But holy moly, this was the sweetest egg salad I have ever tasted. I am dismayed and confused as to why they choose to make it super sickeningly sweet instead of using dill pickle relish. It was honestly the worst egg salad ever. Customer service was not good. The young girl at the counter didn't know anything about the products or the menu combos. She had to ask the manager (who, I might add, was walking around loudly singing, which was not nearly as entertaining as he seemed to think it was) to come help her with everything. I would think there would be more training before putting her on a register. She was nice enough, but her lack of knowledge slowed everything down. But the biggest negative to me was the price - and in looking at the Yelp reviews, it seems I am not nearly the only one who thinks so. $6.48 with tax for chicken salad on a croissant with pickles and a cookie. Not the worst, but not a good value either. The worst was the $5.40 with tax for a scoop of egg salad. That is way WAY too much. I thought surely if I was paying that much, it would be enough to take some home, but no. It was just one little sad scoop. I was actually annoyed with myself for paying for it.
