I cannot say if this is Halal or not, but there are vegan and vegetarian options here! We started with the appetizer sampler: 4 dolmas, 4 spanakopita, 3 falafel, black olives, hummus, tsaziki, and pita bread! Plenty for 2-3 to share! The gyro was mounded high with meat, and full of veggies! Highly flavored, and delicious! The pita was hot and delicious! Of course, we had to end with baklava. Again, I'm so disappointed in myself that this hidden gem is right around the corner from our home. We saw the reviews and came over for a Saturday night date. One of the things that struck us right away is how friendly the owners are. It looks like a family business and they went out of their way to help us and welcome us in. I ate all the salad because with tastes so good. Not an ordinary side salad. This has so much in it and that dressing was awesome. Then I got to the Gyro. It's so stuffed with goodness that I had to eat some of it with a fork before I could take a bite holding the pita. We absolutely loved the Gyro. Put this place down on our regular rotation. One of my absolute favorite work day lunch spots! The restaurant is located in a busy shopping center and there is ample parking. It's not large but not tiny. There's maybe 6 booths and two tables. Every time I've gone it has been clean and the service is always great. The food is what keeps me coming back. I have noticed that prices increased since the pandemic but that's everywhere. I will say that they provide big portions. I usually order the pita lunch special. Can't go wrong with a homemade pita, fries and a drink. After a three star experience it's been five years since I tried Greek Cafe again. The only reason I did is because we had several very high recommendations that did not sound like the same place we visited before. Greek Cafe exudes "hole in the wall" with its exactly-what-you-expect from a local Greek counter service place decor and furnishings. The menu is also typical, though with a noteworthy absence of shawarma. The thing we heard over and over was how large the portions were, which was the opposite of our prior experience. We ordered a falafel sandwich plate, chicken gyros plate (the first our sixth grader ever tried) and gyros plate for me. And man, talk about big portions. I can eat a lot, and this meal was highly satisfying. Falafels were not as strong as Aladdin or Stop N Go, but good. The overall flavor of the sandwich were very good though. Fries are steak-style with a pepper based seasoning that was delicious. The gyro meat was as expected, generously portioned, and with a large side salad and a side of Tzatziki that was thicker than I'm used to, but had great flavor. Sixth grader *devoured* her chicken gyros, a new convert to the robust flavor of Mediterranean food to the credit of Greek Cafe. Service was strong, though our lovely check out person, who also made the food, was a little difficult to understand during the ordering process. She was adorably concerned about not charging us too much for the great quantity of food provided. Overall very good experience, much improved over our first one. Wow! Reviews are good so I thought I'd check it out. Upon entering their was confusion around the pricing as the gyro lunch special says $9.99 outside but is $11.99 once you get to the counter and look at the posted menu to order. I feel many businesses have taken COVID as a chance to increase their prices. What I can't get past is when they are not consistent with pricing on all their marketing, website, etc. I see it as either laziness or the intent to deceive and either is not OK in my opinion. With that said the gyro I bought for $8.50 was HUGE and amazing. Great tzatziki sauce that has to be homemade and tons of meat and it was HOT! The sandwich on its own was a meal and I am not a small guy. Lettuce, onion and tomato was all VERY fresh and not some bag salad. Great quick lunch but I wish they would update their pricing. I asked for a takeout menu and the gentleman said it was accurate "except for the pricing which is 7 years old". Come on man....... Great food and priced fair for what you get read more

The menu prices you see online are not the same you'll pay in the store. for lunch combos, they used to be 9.99 roughly 3 months ago, but as of 3/17/22, i believe it went up a dollar to 10.99 or 11.99. i forgot how much i paid, but over the phone, they mentioned the new price, which i was glad for, so that i wouldn't be surprised when i got to the store. I ended up getting gyro lunch special and the chicken pita lunch special. Both dishes came with fries and a drink. The dishes also came with 1 small tzatziki container on the side. The best item out of the two was the beef gyro. it was decent, like how a normal gyro should taste. However, the chicken pita on the other hand was dry. I wish it was more juicy or at least marinated to give it some flavor, but it was kinda bland. the gyro/pita are really barebone... Its just the protein with some tomato/lettuce on the side. This is a very unassuming place, but an absolute MUST for Greek food in the North Fort Worth/Keller area. My family has been eating here for about 10 years now. Very nice sized portions and fresh ingredients. The family that runs it is super friendly and inviting. They have a few booths and tables, I notice a ton of people pick up to-go orders there while I dine. I usually get a large Greek Salad with Gyro Meat and hummus and pita for appetizers. They have a good selection of Greek themed items and also sandwiches and burgers incase you have picky eaters in your group. The meat on the gyro was tender and well seasoned. The cucumber sauce was cold, the onions mild and the pita bread soft and fresh. There was fresh tomatoes and lettuce generously over the sandwich.
