We were shopping nearby (checking out the new Total Wine & More) and spied the Greek Café. Always on the hunt for a good gyro, we decided to give it a try. We looked over the menu, and were amused by one offering, the "Cajun Cheese Steak." I found this to be quite an interesting combination of words, and if I wasn't craving gyro already (and seeing the meat on the rotating vertical skewer sealed the deal), I might have given it a try. Next time. We only had the gyro, and I gotta say, pretty good. We did have two minor quibbles. One, it wasn't rolled up, rather it was served flat. Two, the Tzatziki Sauce was more like sour cream, than yogurt. I also did not detect any garlic, and there was very little cucumber. On the plus side the meat was great and the pita was hot and soft. Delicious. All in all, it was A-OK (three stars), and I suspect on our next trip to Total Wine & More, we will try some of the other options. Things that caught my eye were: lamb shank, beef dolmas, lamb kabob, moussaka, and the falafel plate. There's also a $5.99 kids (12 and under) menu featuring burgers, "chicken patty", and chicken nuggets. Bottom line: Surprisingly good. read more

Our favorite Greek restaurant. We visited on a Saturday, and it got busy. The cook was also the order taker. She prepared the meals for at least 8 people at one time. It was fast and delicious. There was so much gyro meat on my plate I couldn't close the pita. We had plenty of leftovers and I enjoyed my food the next day for lunch and it was still delicious. Whenever we have visitors, we try to bring them to Greek Cafe. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but looks are deceiving. read more

Awesome find! Pulled up my trustworthy app with the red logo to look for a Greek/Mediterranean place, found this place not too far from my location, so now here I am writing a review. The place is located in a decent size corner strip mall with a bunch stores. It appears to be family operated and it shows. At 1245pm not too busy, I walk in straight to the counter no line. I order combo 1 which is the Ceaser Salad with Gyro meat on the top. I thought it would be a weird combination but to my surprise it wasn't. The gyro meat was done right with just the right seasoning and moisture, on a bed of Romaine Lettuce topped with cheese and dressing, a match made at Greek Cafe in Fort Worth, TX. I walked out of the place feeling happy and the craving satisfied. I like it and recommend it. read more

Business Owner. This establishment is open for business, oddly Upon entering the business, I experienced overwhelming fumes. The female employee at the counter answered my question about the intense smell, stating that the roof was being painted. As a result, she noted that customers were dining- Out (To-Go). She she had stated that this was ongoing for a few days and that the owner was aware. Whether it is paint, or rooftop tar, it seems that the rooftop ventilation system is pumping fumes into this business, possibly several adjacent ones as well. MOST IMPORTANTLY. The employee stated she has headaches as a result of the ongoing roof work. Customers don't wish to be in the building, but an employee required to stay - fascinating. The best Greek food I've had in a long time! My husband and I stopped in today for lunch and hadn't read reviews or researched at all before our visit. We were greeted by one of the owners who was extremely patient while we decided what we wanted to try (we wanted to try a little bit of everything). We ended up ordering some dolmas, hummus and pita, and the falafel lunch special. The dolmas were fabulous and the hummus was perfect! You can tell that a lot of love goes into making this food and that the owner knows what's she's doing. As far as the falafel goes, I'm not quite sure how they made them so flavorful and moist with how crunchy the outside was. I'm drooling just thinking about it. We will definitely be back and will bring friends next time! Definitely a vegan friendly joint as well, just make sure to ask for no tzatziki. read more

Wow! The non-chain places can be hit or miss and this is definitely a HIT! My wife and I love Mediterranean food and finding one that doesn't taste just like every other one can be tough. This place has its own unique (and maybe I should say "authentic") flavor. You get plenty of food on your plate. We shared the rack of lamb and gyro plates and both were amazing. Even the gyro meat was somehow different and very flavorful. It was the best we've had personally. The lamb is all about the preparation and these didn't miss the mark. Solid Greek Flavors!. We made our first trip to Greek Cafe for dinner and were really pleased to see more than just the typical Gyro and fries menu. As we deliberated over our choice, we were offered a sample of the meat Dolmas which were on one of the nightly specials. The were very tasty - one wrapped in the traditional grape leaf and the other wrapped in cabbage. Though tempting, we decided on sampling some other choices. My daughter got the Falafel, served on a pita with onions, tomatoes and a Cucumber Sauce, with a small Greek Salad and Hummus. MY wife tried the Mousakas, which was Outstanding! If you like meat and potatoes, and don't mind a little Greek flavor thrown in, this is the dish to try! I couldn't resist the Lamb Kabob and was also not disappointed. The fries were pretty disappointing - fried well but completely tasteless and bland. The salad was good - typical ingredients but tasted very fresh and the dressing was perfect!
