I searched for Gyro restaurants, saw Moe's and remembered I had heard really good things about their gyros. Click, click, click, ordered as simple as that with a side of Tabouli. Within a reasonable amount of time, at my door was a Grubhub driver with a big smile on her face. She said, "I guess you're looking for this?" "Yep, I sure was!" I settled down for some quality streaming and an amazing gyro and tabouli. One thing I am glad of, I ordered an extra cup full of tzatziki sauce. The gyro was packed full and so delicious. Total hole in the wall but overall cute spot. The inside was well kept and people came in and out. You can eat in or take out. My son got a gyro with wings. The wings were great! The gyro meat was excellent too. The issue with the gyro is all the toppings were under the meat. The taziki made the pita fall apart. I got a chicken salad and it was great! Next time I'd ask for extra dressing but the flavor was there. I debated 3 or 4 stars but to give it four I'd have a lot of special requests on my next visit. read more

This is my favorite spot when I am in town! I always get the gyro sandwich with a drink and fries. The meat is very tender. Everything is made homemade which I really appreciate and can be hard to find these days. The inside is quaint but very clean. This is a made to order restaurant, and you order at the counter. The location isn't too spacious, so would not be for groups greater than 6! We ordered the beef shawarma and gyro platter, and both were delicious. The gyro was moist, flavorful and genuinely one of the best gyros I have had in Texas. The beef shawarma was super tasty as well and the meat was so tender. With the platter, we ordered the Greek salad, hummus and tabouli. The Greek salad was definitely the stand out. The tabouli was quite zesty, but when paired with the tzatziki sauce, it helped mellow it out. I would definitely recommend the Greek salad though, that was a big hit with my boyfriend and I! I wish Moe's was closer to me so I could go back more often!! read more

Saw so many good reviews so we decided to check it out! The restaurant is located at the corner of a strip mall, but don't let that deter you. The inside has a few tables but most of the business is take-out. Ordered a chicken shawarma platter with hummus and dolma as the two optional sides. The chicken was excellent; super well seasoned and tender. The white sauce mixed in so well with the rice and the side pita came nice and toasted. Shout out to Moe's Gyro for their hummus and their Greek salad, two dishes that are absolutely essential in my life.. Moe's food is all so pretty and colorful and fresh. Their Greek salad is crunchy and filled with lots of veggies, and the dressing is so good and acidic. The hummus is that perfect velvety texture and super rich, it doesn't need anything but it goes with everything. Of course Jon enjoyed his gyro pita wrap and fries. This food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious! The taste is so authentic. The falafel is the best i've ever had. Anytime I crave mediterranean this is my go-to spot. The service is very straight forward as most of their business is take-out orders. The location is a little tucked away and it is small on the inside so I would recommend take out anyway. Decided to come here to celebrate our "night in together" on Yelp! Been driving by here for months and have been wanting to stop by, and I am so glad that I did. Moe's is at the end of a long strip mall at the corner of Precinct and Pipleline roads. I called in my order as the only online options was for catering. The gentleman on the other line was nice and told me that my order would be ready in around 15 minutes. It was actually ready quicker than that and when I entered their store I was warmly greeted by the same gentleman behind the counter. He was finishing up with my falafel platter order with a side of tabouli and a Greek Salad. My total order came to less than $10 and it gave me two meals! I see why Moe's has so many positive reviews--their food is simple and delicious! And they give you just the right amount! I definitely want to come back and try more! I was pleasantly surprised to see that Moe's had so many positive reviews and it was so close to work. This is definitely a no-frills place where you are there for the food. I got the gyro plate with hummus and greek salad, and I thought it was good but nothing special. I will say you get a good portion size for the price as I could not finish my plate. I think the gyro meat was a little dry and could use a little more flavor. The salad was alright as well. Gyro here is very good, and at $4.99, it's a real deal. Add two bucks and you can add a drink and fries. My total came to $7.47 ($8.71 with tip)! Those "Add tip" buttons get me every time. I was actually craving a burger, while in an unfamiliar part of town. As I searched, Moe's popped up. So I thought, "Why not?" It took me two tries to find it, as it's hidden behind a taqueria. Walking in, I had my doubts. Why? I like to see the gyro meat spinning in vertical glory. This was absent. After I got my sandwich, I took a close look, searching for the characteristic char on the meat. I didn't see any. Regardless, it was quite good. A little lite on the taziki, but ok all the same. Meat was very tasty, pita was hot and soft. Fries were a nice side. All in all, I'm glad I opted for a gyro vs. a burger. It was a good call. I kinda wish I lived closer, but there is another gyro place closer to home. Now I'm eager to try that place. On my way out, I asked if the meat was on a vertical spit, and was told it is. In an area saturated with places that serve Gyros, Moe's is nothing special. While it may seem like a lot of food, it's just a lot of rice. Portions of the salads, meat, and hummus were small, and kind of frustrated giving the price. Service was not good- he doused my gyro meat in sauce after I said sauce on the side, and he wouldn't replace it. The sauce itself had way too much garlic and onion and left a sharp taste in your mouth. The hummus was nothing special; tasted like a generic store bought hummus. The salad- sheesh, it felt like I was drinking vinegar. Not good. If you serve a salad PLEASE leave the dressing on the side. The gyro meat itself was good- it had a good mix of beef and lamb and just the right amount of seasoning. It's truly a shame because this place could be so much better. They have good gyro meat, but everything else was lacking. Stop n Go gyros is a much better option down the street with better food and 100x better service. read more

I've been to Moe's many times now. Of all the gyro places in the area I think it's by far the best. The food is always consistent and fresh. When you place an order it's not build on some assembly line in front of you but is made fresh when you order. This means a short wait but it's well worth it. I really love the falafels here. They are delicious and just right. It's easy to have a dry crumbly falafel but not at Moe's. I also enjoy the dolmas, hummus, and pita. They are all great. Moe's has made my go there often list, which isn't an easy list to get on. read more

My boyfriend is a serious super gyro for fulfilling my week long Mediterranean food cravings! He picked up a few different things for us while on the way home from work today, from this little Mediterranean place called Moe's Gyros. We pass by Moe's all the time, & after doing some research on the surrounding Mediterranean places, I decided to dive into the one near our house because they are pretty up there in good reviews! Pictured here is the gyro platter, which is served with their signature gyro meat, yellow basmati rice, & your choice of two sides, + 4 slices of pita bread. As my two sides, I got the tabouli (a salad of parsley, mint, bulgur wheat, & chopped veggies with an olive oil/lemon dressing), & the dolmas (stuffed grape leaves usually with meats, rice, & spices) -- also added an order of the falafel, which you're probably thinking by now.... DANG that's a lot of food, but dolma defense, these fried little balls are highly talked about from Moe's ok! Not pictured is my boyfriends gyro sandwich & house salad (a chopped cucumber & tomato based mix). I falafel but the gyro meat, falafels, & tzatziki sauce was by far the best thing out of this meal! The meat was so tender & flavorful, a perfect mix of fatty & lean meat. But the falafels, oh the falafels... those took the stage for me!!! They were perfectly cooked & packed with so much flavor for such little balls. It had all the right spices... I mean... I've never had a good falafel until now. Plus the tzatziki sauce added a kick to the mix, with perfect amounts of dill & tang! I could care less for the dolmas & tabouli salad (probably because the dolmas were bland, mushy, & vegetarian) & the tabouli seemed to only know one flavor quality... & that was sour so I was a little disappointed there.
