I apologize for the lapse in update: Two weeks ago Now, for those who frequent CAVA, we know their bowls are a pretty penny. So, when they gave me an order with burnt meatballs, I couldn't just let it pass. Food like that should have never been served, it should have been thrown away, even if that means you have to go without that ingredient for an hour or two. I submitted a complaint to their online customer service and within twenty-four hours, received a response. I made sure to submit my pictures and my receipts, they were very kind and responsive to my concerns and promptly issued a credit to my CAVA account. When I returned to CAVA, my salad was PERFECT! I understand, that sometimes there will be variations in what we order, but there will never be an excuse when it comes to poor quality foods being served to your customers. I gotta say, if you have employees interacting with customers make sure they are trained in how to be courteous. Cava has become a new favorite for me! I had a busy day with a number of appointments. I had to make a quick decision on grabbing a quick bite to eat and decided upon Cava. I haven't been to a Cava before so I was interested to see what they had to offer. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a order and build your order at the counter and pay there. There was plenty of seating in the resturant. I opted to take a kids meal togo due to needing to still head out to another appointment, one of those days I was willing to eat in the car in the parking lot to make sure I got where I was going on time. The kids meal was decent amount of food, and was a good way to try a little bit of something for a first time visit, at least for me! Everything was outstanding, shy of the pita chips being slightly overly "salty" for me, but the hummus helped with some of that. Their sodas are not the mainstream brands, I grabbed a rootbeer that I gave to my husband when I got to the appointment I was heading too. He seemed to like it! This is the third time i've came to this location and received cold/hard pita chips. You could tell they had been sitting out and were not made within the last hour even. This time I was finally eating inside so I went to the counter and asked if I could get another freshly made order of them. The lady at the counter looked at me like I was crazy for asking and asked the manager if I could have some of the ones that were currently being made. She said yes but I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to come out and at that point my bowl was cold and I didn't even want them anymore. I understand that I came in at a time that wasn't busy so the chips weren't continuously being replaced but don't make me feel bad for asking (which I still did because I usually don't do that). I did appreciate the manager for allowing me to have fresh ones. I might stick to the Southlake location from here on out. Twice I have picked up from your location and not only are most of your team members extremely short and rude, the minute it gets busy it's chaos in there and the quality of food suffers. This is not how it is at the Fort Worth or Southlake Locations. Please get your act together and don't give the franchise such a horrible reputation. I would hate for any first timers to visit your spot. Handing off bags of food without eye contact RA simple "here you go" it's just unprofessional. Also, if you're going to despise people coming to pick up food when it's busy, have it at the designated location so you don't have to have the dreaded conversations with paying customers. Came to this place last night there was a skinny Caucasian girl giving out rice that was so hard like you can hear me crunching it in my mouth. I don't know, but she was giving us the end of the rice . They ask us if we want all of our three bowls to be done but we just said give us one new bowl . this was at night probably around seven and 8 PM. Maybe 830 . I've always wanted to try Cava as I love Mediterranean food so was happy when my fiance and I stopped by for a late lunch. The service was quick, though it seems the employees are all still training on what comes on the menu items. We both ordered the spicy lamb meatball pita but they were both made differently. The flavors were great, and I enjoyed the sauces! Unfortunately you don't get a ton of meat in the portion sizes. And for $13 each, I was left underwhelmed by the whole meal. It was late maybe 8 so two hours before close, there was two people who made our bowl order, first was a girl who was fine but the second was this blonde headed kid who seemed like he was over it from the second we walked into the place. Oct 5th, 2024 -Ordered two salads and a side of hummus online and was given an order ready time via email. I pulled into the pickup line at the given time behind 2 cars and waited. I noticed two employees out back with the door open talking to each other and one got on their phone. After waiting for 5 minutes it was clear the line was not going to move quickly, so I pulled in a spot and went inside to grab the order. There were several other people waiting on orders inside. There was also no line and the place wasn't busy. When I asked the attendant, she said my order wasn't ready. I asked when it would be ready? She replied they hadn't started preparing it and it would be a while. I said it was supposed to be ready a while ago. She annoyingly offered a refund, to which I agreed. She had to retrieve the manager who was one of the employees I saw out back, where she was talking on the phone. The manager was rude and didn't say two words to me.
