I got off work late and had a hankering for drunken noodles. Not wanting to show up right before closing, I hopped on Yelp to find somewhere open after 9 and found Zaap. It is in Glade Parks and is a cute little shop by the movie theater. It was easy to order online, and was ready when I showed up. They were still doing big business at 8:30, but the restaurant was clean and tidy. I picked up my take out and boogied on home. I got the beef drunken noodles and the take out container was full. The veggies were really good and still had a bite, the noodles were torn and shaggy, but cooked perfectly. However it wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad, but I thought it BERY sweet. Sweeter than I prefer. And the beef was ground beef, which I thought strange. I won't be ordering this again, but I may come back to try out some of their Lao dishes.

What a great addition to Glade Park! My daughter and I dined in for lunch and left with so much food. Here's the run down of food we tried. *Crispy veggie rolls (5/10) *Crab cream cheese rolls (6/10) *Thai style papaya salad-mild (10/10 would do a medium spice level next time) *Tom Kha w/ chicken-mild & side of jasmine rice (10/10) *Crispy Zaap wings (10/10) *Pork pad Thai (10/10) 16 oz Dr. Pepper All of this ran $70.30. Take into consideration that you will have multiple meals or feed multiple people and I think it's worth it! On a normal basis we would not have ordered so much food but we were excited to try a few different things. The atmosphere is cozy and bright with natural wood accents to add warmth. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food to your table. There was plenty of seating options, complimentary ice cold water (it was actually very good water), and all the utensils & napkins for your meal. The customer service was excellent! We were greeted and helped at the register quickly. You can make your food spice level whatever you like. I appreciate that because I like a little heat but not THAI heat! However, next time I'll be trying medium because mild was barely any kick. We can't wait to come back and try other menu options and maybe some of the different Thai drinks!

Zaap has officially opened their 10th location, and it's no surprise why they're growing so quickly! I've been to three of their locations so far, and each one has delivered consistently excellent food and service. The chicken noodle soup is warm and savory, the yellow curry is perfectly sweet and full of flavor, the Pad Thai is always a favorite, and the mango sticky rice with extra cream is spot on every time. Beyond the food, the staff always go above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcomed and taken care of. Congratulations to Zaap on opening their 10th location -- a well-deserved milestone!

Newly opened in Glade Parks, this restaurant offers a charming blend of Laotian and Thai touches. The wall art is beautiful and adds to the inviting atmosphere. The street food options are impressive and easy to browse and order from the overhead panel. We tried a few dishes, and everything was delicious. It's mostly self-service, with paper plates and plastic utensils provided. We'll definitely be back to try more!

Heard they opened this location near by and I've been wanting to try it! In this area we literally have a Thai restaurant on every corner so I was excited to see what the new hype of Zaap Kitchen was. I order the Drunken Noodles spice 5 & the Fried Wrapped Shrimp. Total around $25 The service was great! Greeted when I walked in and out for my Togo order. The ambiance was GREATTTT! Loved the decor and the vibes were definitely nice. It was super clean and very bright. I loved the little touches of culture they added to the shelves. The Beef Drunken Noodles were 6/10. The flavor was really good and veggies were perfectly cooked but the 5 spice level for me was NOT SPICY even after I added the chili oil. & the beef was pretty much non existent. They must use the larb beef in here bc it was like little bits of beef so it was such a tease. I checked the other locations to see if i was just missing beef but no that's just how they prepare this plate. If i didn't have such of an array of other Thai places around to compare drunken noodles from id probably rate it higher. But overall it was okay bc for $15 I'd like some meat atleast lol Shrimp Wrapped Rolls were 7/10 crispy but they were really seasoned and little sweet. So it'll be perfect for my kids The sweet and sour sauce it came with was very watery and not what I expected.. Overall the place is great for a quick lunch or dinner. The other meals look great so I would come back to over and try other things to review. But drunken noodles and shrimp wrapped rolls from here was a no go for me personally.

Went to this restaurant with my family. The Beef Pad See Ew was perfect and the Mango Sticky Rice was delicious. The mango was perfectly ripe. Everything came out pretty fast and the service by Nolan was great. I will definitely be returning!

Cream cheese crab rolls were good. Yellow curry with beef was also very good. And the Lao fried rice was nice.

It's located in a tiny market in a very unassuming party of town - but make no mistake - nestled between barber shops and low income housing is arguably the best Thai food I've had in DFW The flavor was so deep and rich. Melt in your mouth flavor for the pork ribs and sausage. The vermicelli curry was phenomenal and the Thai papaya salad was super fresh and delicious. Spring rolls on point and the service was so friendly. Beef larb was very authentic tasting. The guy who took our order was awesome. And to top it all off? Great prices and tons of ACTUAL Asian people eating there. That's how you know it's good!

It's tucked away and attached to a small Lao grocery store, which honestly made it feel even more authentic. The moment we walked in, it felt like we were about to get a home-cooked meal. We ordered the organ soup with sticky rice, beef lahp, and nam khao, and everything was absolutely delicious. The broth in the organ soup was rich, clean, and deeply flavorful, exactly how it's supposed to taste. The sticky rice came out warm and perfectly chewy. The beef lahp was bright and herbaceous with the right amount of spice and lime, super fresh, and tasted just like what we've had in Laos/at family gatherings. And the nam khao was crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don't cut corners on ingredients here. What I appreciated most is the authenticity. A lot of other reviewers mentioned that this is one of the few places in Texas where the food tastes "just like home," and I completely agree. Multiple people also mentioned the friendly staff and how the market side carries essentials and hard-to-find Lao/Thai items. We felt the same way, everyone was kind, and the grocery section is a nice bonus for anyone looking for snacks or specialty ingredients. Portions were solid, prices were fair, and the quality was amazing. This is exactly the kind of spot you hope to find when traveling. If you want real Lao food, skip the trendy places and come here instead. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Texas. Highly, highly recommend.

You place your order on a electronic tablet. We ordered the Sizzling Lau Sausage, Crispy Zaap Wings, Pad Kee Mao and the Mango Sticky Rice. We ordered all of our items to go. When I took our items out of our bags when we got back, I was amazed at the portion size of the Pad Kee Mao because the weight of the container was SUBSTANTIALLLLLL!!!!! All of our items were out of this world fantastic but I have to give a big ole shout out for that MANGO STICKY RICE! This was first time to have it and my husband and I both enjoyed. I appreciated the variety of Thai and Lao items on their menu and would like to come back and try some other things. They had a lot of customers coming in and out with to go orders. You can tell this is very popular for lunch for folks who work in the area. I can understand why. All of the food is so fresh and piping hot. Oh and the chalkboard art is MAGNIFICENT!!!! I love it so much that i took more pictures of that than our food! I did, however, get a pic of the mango sticky rice because I had to try it immediately when we got back. WOWOWOWOWOWWWW! That's all.

The food ordered: pad Thai, tom kha chicken soup, yum soon sen salad, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, a side of fried rice, and jeow som sauce. I ordered off their restaurant app which does include service fees. My total was $64.22. As a whole, the food is really good, nice proportions, and steaming hot. I asked for no spice on the pad Thai and mild spice in the soup and noodle salad. But the pad Thai got all the spice. AND I MEAN SPICY! My daughter was sad at first but powered through and enjoyed it and cleared her sinuses while she was at it LOL. Simple mistake, and lesson learned to make sure everything I order in the future is at the no spice level. The crab Rangoons are thin, delicate and crispy- the filling was slightly sweet and delicious. Very good with the sweet and sour sauce that comes with it. The egg rolls weren't our favorite but they were still tasty. Just not so crispy as we would have liked. The soup was exactly what my cold needed! It cleared my nose instantly. The show stopper was the yum woon sen salad. My daughter and I fought over leftovers. It's the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and sour. A new favorite for sure! We will definitely be back to try other dishes and support this local gem!
