    Crispy Veggie Rolls

First time ordering from Zaap Kitchen and it was very good. The pad Thai was exceptionally good. Only minor disappointment was that I ordered it hot and it was pretty mild but still was excellent and I just added my own chili. I tried the Lao sausage which was different and interesting. It has a lime flavor (?) which I wasn't expecting. I wanted to try at least one Lao thing from the menu. Veggie spring rolls were good - could have been crispier but were still good. The pad Thai made this 5 stars. Will definitely order from here again.

I finally came by after one of my favorite Yelpers gave it raving reviews. I am glad that I did. I think this is the best Thai spot on MacArthur Blvd. We had the Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, Basil Fried Rice, and Green Curry. We had level 4 out 5 spice level but it was plenty hot. This seems like mostly a "To Go" place as seating is nothing fancy and limited inside. The service was prompt and the atmosphere was very casual. The food was delicious. It was also at a great price point. We will definitely come back again.

    This the red curry soup.

Great place to enjoy delicious Lao/Thai food. My daughter and love going there and are treated great. The location is clean, well staff and has a friendly atmosphere. Will continue to enjoy food going there.

This is a casual Thai place. We were the only dine in customers but there were a few takeaways. We were greeted by a smiling older guy who asked us to let us know if we need any help ordering which is through a self guiding screen. We had a green curry and a glass noodle sit fry both of which had decent portions and tasted yum! We also ordered dessert which wa mango sticky rice and purpose macaroon ice cream. Only negative was their lack of dine in cutlery. Hope they keep few for dine in customers

Crispy Veggie Rolls and Pad Woon Sen (Glass Noodles) with tofu. Highly recommended both!

First time ordered from Zaap. I opted for the crispy veg rolls and the Pad Woon Sen with tofu. Absolutely delicious! This was definitely the best Pad Woon I have ever had. The veggies were fresh and crisp (no sogginess!) Both items were super hot and I will return, for sure!

Back to my favorite spot I go! Once again the food was amazing, tried some new items and they were amazing. The wings were crispy, juicy and seasoned to perfection. The combination fried rice actually had meat in it instead of all rice. Please keep up the great job!!!

Zaap Kitchen Lao & Thai Street Eats is a fast casual restaurant in Irving-Las Colinas that serves some of the most legit Lao and Thai cuisine in the area. There are multiple locations in the DFW area, and Irving-Las Colinas residents now have access to this excellent restaurant. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Zaap has a very functional fast casual design. It's bright, open, and clean. There's a path on the left which will take you to the counter to order, and there are several small tables. Nothing super exciting, but extremely functional. Normally I would only give 1/2 a star but the food is legit so they get a bump. 1 Star. Service - I think Zaap is a Las Colinas lunch spot (busy during the week), because on my Sunday lunch visit, the person who took my order was about 10-years old. The cute little boy had nice manners, repeated my order, and upon taking my order, he joined his little sister in an empty booth to play games with her. Soon, our food was brought to our table (by adults). Overall the service is good, but I was a little uncomfortable interacting with a little boy taking my order. 1 Star. Food - I am so happy Zaap has opened in Irving-Las Colinas! The food is legitimately good, and the prices are very fair. I started with a fresh salad roll with shrimp. The rice paper wrapped roll had too much lettuce for my taste, but the peanut dipping sauce is perfect. Warm and creamy, Zaap also provides crushed peanuts that you can add to the sauce to add more peanut flavor and texture. For my main, I'm a fan of the Pad Woon Sen. One word - Fresh. Make that three words - Fresh, piping hot. My Pad Woon Sen is a stir fry garden of fresh cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It all works together with Thai spices that vaults Zaap right into my rotation of Go-To restaurants. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. The best part of Zaap is the value. With inflation and the cost of food so high, it's nice to have options from a legitimate Thai\Lao restaurant in Irving-Las Colinas. 1 Star.

ZAAP Kitchen Lao & Thai Cuisine is a culinary gem that truly impresses with its vibrant flavors and authentic dishes. The Pad See Ew is outstanding--perfectly cooked noodles with a delightful balance of savory sauce and fresh vegetables. The garlic rib tips are tender and packed with flavor, making them a must-try. I also highly recommend the crab cream cheese rolls; they are crispy, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. Paired with fragrant jasmine rice, each dish creates a harmonious dining experience. Everything was cooked fresh to order, making this an EXCELLENT 10/10 dinner.

    Pad thai and thai tea

Service was fast, and we were the only people in the restaurant when we went so the space was vast and quiet. However, although the food and tea looked really vibrant, I was hoping for a little more flavor personally.

Location is very clean. I liked the self order kiosk. That was great. I'm not tipping for that tho. The only thing the staff did was bring my food to my table and I can't justify a 20% in food cost when I can just get it from the counter. Food was great. Tasted great and lots of veggies. I feel like the portion size on the pad woon sen could have been larger for the price paid tho. Veggie rolls were very crispy and good!

It's located in a tiny market in a very unassuming party of town - but make no mistake - nestled between barber shops and low income housing is arguably the best Thai food I've had in DFW The flavor was so deep and rich. Melt in your mouth flavor for the pork ribs and sausage. The vermicelli curry was phenomenal and the Thai papaya salad was super fresh and delicious. Spring rolls on point and the service was so friendly. Beef larb was very authentic tasting. The guy who took our order was awesome. And to top it all off? Great prices and tons of ACTUAL Asian people eating there. That's how you know it's good!

It's tucked away and attached to a small Lao grocery store, which honestly made it feel even more authentic. The moment we walked in, it felt like we were about to get a home-cooked meal. We ordered the organ soup with sticky rice, beef lahp, and nam khao, and everything was absolutely delicious. The broth in the organ soup was rich, clean, and deeply flavorful, exactly how it's supposed to taste. The sticky rice came out warm and perfectly chewy. The beef lahp was bright and herbaceous with the right amount of spice and lime, super fresh, and tasted just like what we've had in Laos/at family gatherings. And the nam khao was crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don't cut corners on ingredients here. What I appreciated most is the authenticity. A lot of other reviewers mentioned that this is one of the few places in Texas where the food tastes "just like home," and I completely agree. Multiple people also mentioned the friendly staff and how the market side carries essentials and hard-to-find Lao/Thai items. We felt the same way, everyone was kind, and the grocery section is a nice bonus for anyone looking for snacks or specialty ingredients. Portions were solid, prices were fair, and the quality was amazing. This is exactly the kind of spot you hope to find when traveling. If you want real Lao food, skip the trendy places and come here instead. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Texas. Highly, highly recommend.
