It had been a long time since I had visited this restaurant so wanted to go try it again and was not disappointed. The flavor of the food was definitely still there. The broth for the Kow Piak Pork Belly was so flavorful on its own with having to add anything to it. Same goes for the Lao Sukiyaki dish that was order as well. I was very pleasantly surprised by this cute little restaurant in a very unassuming strip mall. The restaurant is very cute with a lot of different decorations and cool things for sale. I ordered Pad Won Sen with chicken. My sponsor ordered level 1 of 5 for a "Spicy" dish and was not expecting it to have a little hot kick. I am chicken and ordered level 2 of 5 spice level. I am a Thai fan. This place will be one of my favs. The service the food the drinks were all superb. The place has cool decor. Some of the seating benches have tears in them. Our food order came out quickly. The spice level was right on. I ordered the spice 4 out of 5 and it wasn't to bad. It was just what I needed. My wife got 3 out of 5 and thought it was just perfect. She got the pad Thai and I ordered the yellow curry. We also had the veggie dumplings...delicious. my wife had a chai tea and I had the avocado drink. Both tasted great. I previously wrote my first review of Boun Bistro in 2022. Two years later, they're still as great as before. Boun Bistro's Thai and Vietnamese food are amazing, like always. However, through the many times we had delicious food, there was only one time we didn't which was when we had takeout. Their combination pho was very bland, but I believe it was just one instance because we've had their pho before and it was amazing. Nonetheless, I highly recommend you to visit Boun Bistro when you get the chance! read more

This place has really solid lunch specials. However the lunch spring roll is the size of my pinky. The food is super delicious here and you can tell it's fresh. This place gets packed at lunch because of the good specials. You can adjust the spice levels upon request. It's a clean and unique restaurant. Will be back. read more

Grabbed takeout from here on Saturday and I was not disappointed! The crispy chive cake appetizer is delicious and pairs perfectly with the chili soy dip. The Wok Basil with tofu and a side of jasmine rice was a flavor powerhouse. The dish is packed with bell pepper, onion and an amazing basil sauce. Another 5 star dish was the Crispy Whole Tilapia. Somehow, it did not have a ton of bones (some had been removed). It's a whole fish, so bones wouldn't bother me, but I appreciate the chefs taking the time to remove some of the bones. I got it with the garlic sauce which I honestly could have eaten as a soup it was so good. LOL Also, the fish was super crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and spiced perfectly. Finally, I also took home an order of basil fried rice with pork - another outstanding dish. When the hubby and I try a spot, we like to get a few different dishes to try. We were so happy that we did, because everything was fresh and tasty. I'm a Thai food fan, so this spot is now in my Thai food rotation! I had never been to Boun Bistro and decided to go cause of a recommendation. Their food was great! I had the drunken noodle with steak which was very flavorful and had a decent amount of heat. The egg rolls were really good. The sauce it's paired with is nice. The spring rolls were good as well and they had the option of getting chicken instead of shrimp. Everything reheats well. I was here for work and my hotel was also nearby and I wanted Thai food. I saw the reviews and decided to go for it as I pulled up front. I was a little hesitant at the plaza in however, gratefully surprised as I entered the really great ambience inside. I got my food to go, and I'm sitting here eating it absolutely amazed! The tofu, rice wraps, pad Thai and chicken wings are absolutely amazing. I absolutely did not need to get anything else besides the pad Thai as there is so much.!!! What a great find! Boun Bistro has been around for 10 years but since I'm newish to the area, I just discovered this great restaurant. Thai and Lao food is what you'll find. They are tucked away in a little strip mall and the inside is nicely decorated. We had the Lao Palaya salad, Lao sausage, and Basil Chicken Wok. All of it was delicious. The Boun green tea was also refreshing. Johnny gave us an idea to put the Lao sausage in a tortilla and garnish it with the papaya salad. It was so good the next day for lunch! We will definitely be back. There is so many dishes we want to try! read more

I found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try for lunch. While it's located in a bit of a rough area, once you're inside, it's surprisingly welcoming with nice décor for a casual Asian restaurant. I ordered the pad see ew with chicken to-go. The portion was decent, and it had a nice wok flavor. Next time, l'd probably ask for a higher spice level. I came back another time to try their pho, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. There are definitely better pho spots nearby, but in fairness, this isn't a strictly Vietnamese restaurant, so l won't be too harsh. Overall, it's a solid choice for lunch or dinner if you're in the area. read more

Came during lunch and was quickly seated. The decor is cute and I was served quickly. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai with their house soup at a spice level of 4. The soup was very flavorful with small pieces of daikon. Honestly something I've never tasted before and I enjoyed it. The noodles were also tasty, had good balance of flavors and hit the heat just right. My issue with the dish was the shrimp were very over cooked and ended up leaving a dry texture in the mouth. After I was done eating, I was having difficulty getting a server's attention (they get pretty busy during lunch), so I ended up paying at the front. I'm not sure if that's the norm, but I am curious to try their other dishes. Overall a good place for lunch. read more

Best chicken pad see ew in all of greater Fort Worth. And the 2nd best Tom Kha Gai in greater Fort Worth! I just order delivery, and it's always piping hot, well-packaged and delicious. The portions of the pad see ew are generous, and it's consistently outstanding. The Tom Kha Gai bowl is about half the size of other places' bowls of Tom Kha Gai. But it is still so good, consistent and reliable, and so much better than every restaurant except Bangkok Chef's table, whose Tom Kha Gai has them beat on taste, size and price, that I can't help but order the Tom Kha Gai from Buon Bistro, too, especially when I am in the mood for some delicious pad see ew! Best "lunch menu" lunch I can ever remember having. The food had a ton of flavor. Every single bite was delicious.

This is my personal go-to Thai spot hands down. I have yet to try a dish that I can say I didn't like. I went to a well known Thai spot in Vegas and was eager to come back home to this place's food. I know that may be hard to believe but their food just gives me comfort. Their wings are incomparable. Trust me, I've tried it from everywhere else close to home. I like both the traditional fried wings and the saucy bam bam wings. I come in to dine every now and then but I probably order through delivery most of the time. Everything is packaged well and tastes just as good as when I dine in at the restaurant. The dinner crowd seems light the times I've been in but don't let that fool you. I've also been in for lunch and they have a packed house. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend you give it a go! read more

Went to eat here for dinner with friends from church (our recommendation) and as always the food was amazing. We ordered the Bam Bam wings (not pictured), which he says is done like Korean style (still crispy even when heavily sauced) and if you like spicy you can get these super hot. Our kids ate their pineapple fried rice. We also ordered two of their new menu items. We ordered the cripsy pork belly (nothing special, but just well executed) which were nicely fried and crispy, and Kow Piak Sen Crispy Pork (both pictured). We normally get their fried tilapia with garlic basil sauce but they were out (my middle daughter's favorite). We also ordered their kombucha squash custard with coconut sticky rice (pictured) and the mung bean puffs for dessert. We normally get the mango sticky rice (but mangoes aren't in season), and honestly this might be even better. read more

The food and service was top notch! We ordered the shrimp spring rolls, chicken curry puffs, beef salad, coconut chicken soup, and yellow curry for lunch today. All the dishes tasted like they were cooked with love and had so much flavor with the right amount of spice. The two ladies working today made for an enjoyable first experience. They were both very pleasant and kind. We drove from NRH to try the food and without a doubt we will be visiting frequently! We look forward to our next visit.
