I had to come back for a second round--just to make sure my taste buds weren't pulling a fast one on me. Pho Vieng's fried chicken wings are next-level amazing. We ordered three servings and wiped them out so fast there wasn't even time for a photo! And don't get me started on the papaya salad--it's pure perfection. This spot has officially made it into my top 3 go-to places for Lao food. The service? Impeccable--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The vibe is what you'd expect from a classic Asian eatery, but the flavors here are anything but typical. Already counting down the days until my next visit! Oh...it's BYOB also! Tasty and flavorful. Really nice people. Nice and quiet. It was our first time and we got the beef pho and chicken pho. They have mango sticky rice which I've been meaning to try. So delish.

Pho Vieng in Haltom City, TX serves up some solid Laotian food, but don't expect much in the way of customer service. I tried the crispy pork belly, green bean salad, fried chicken wings, boat noodle, Thai tea and sticky rice all were flavorful and well- prepared. The pork belly was crispy, the salad was nice and spicy, and the boat noodle had deep, rich broth. However the service was lacking. The lady at the front desk took our order without saying a word, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. If you're here purely for food, it's worth a visit. Just don't expect warm hospitality.

The food IS SO GOOD!! You have GOT to come here! Try the heavenly beef jerky and you'll see what i mean. The food is packed with flavor and seasonings!!! Favorite pho place!

Amazing. Hands down best pho I've had. HUGE portion. So much flavor on its own. They give you lots of sauces and herbs to dress it up. The spring rolls are delicious too. Service was great. I will for sure be coming back.

They never miss here. So good, if you know you know! I got the Thai boat noodles and it was super flavorful. Always busy and service was great. Always a place to come back to!

Our first visit. Laotian Thai so a little different menu and flavors than just Thai we typically have eaten. We had Pot Stickers to start along with some Thai drinks. I had the Pad Woon Sen and my sponsor ordered the Shrimp Yellow Curry. They provide a tray of condiments to enhance the flavors if you wish. Family atmosphere.

More than enough food for the price you pay. We tried their pho and their noodle bowl. Both were flavorful and authentic. Service was friendly and helpful. Food came out hot and fresh. We had plenty leftover too. Worth checking out and trying their pho!

For authentic Lao foods this is the place to go. Our server was very tentative and answered all of my questions. Food portions was pretty good as well. We shall stop in again on our next visit!

Love this place. Their thum mua is so good! The boat noodle soup is very nice and flavorful. Please note they are closed on Sundays. Highly recommend this place for good Lao food!

One of our favorite places to eat. The food is delicious and consistent. Had lunch there today; beef jerky, Shrimp fried rice and green curry. All good. I like their chicken larb with sticky rice. Service is fast and friendly. The fried rice is properly cooked in a hot wok imparting that unique flavor. The restaurant is large and comfortable. If you want or like Thai food check this place out, you will be happy.

Price increases, service decrease, 18% service fee, $2 to $4 additional for meat add ons? Used to be one of my favorites but not anymore.

The owner and staff are very kind, and the food is extremely consistent. Some recommendations: Boat noodles: What they are famous for...sort of like the Thai response to pho, but with a thicker broth with lots more herbs (and the blood.) I prefer it to any pho I've had hands down. Khaosoi: Egg noodle curry soup with crispy noodles on top, and some pickled veggies to add a salty contrast. Suki haeng / nam: This is the Thai version of sukiyaki. Suki haeng is stir-fried, while suki nam is the same dish but in a soup broth. The sauce is a mix of sweet and spicy. I've tried some other variations of this dish elsewhere, but none compare. Kung nam khon: Shrimp noodle soup, delicious if you like something a little on the sour side (lots of lime and lemongrass flavors in the broth.) All the curries, but especially panang, matsaman or pineapple. Noodles: The classics like pad woon sen, pad Thai and pad se ew are safe options which always taste good. The pad Thai is not as heavy on the sweet sauce as many places, so be aware of that. It's more smoky which I think makes it stand out in a good way. They also have the best Thai tea and Thai coffee around in my opinion.

Better than others I've tried in the past. The pad kee mow was ok. The sauce was very light in amount and flavor, however, for a spice level of one, it was really spicy. I can only imagine how a two would be. The noodles were nice and chewy, but that's pretty much all I enjoyed with the dish. The last thing we got was their basil fried rice and it was good too. Lots of basil, which I like.
