I come here 2-3 times a month and love it! It is managed well, the staff is friendly and helpful. Also, they are so busy on Sundays when I normally go and I am always impressed by how quickly they manage the crowd. They do this without seeming overly stressed, something I notice and appreciate as I work in a high-stress job myself. I have visited other Cava locations in the area and have had good experiences, but in my opinion, the Southlake location is the best! read more

I tried this again to see if there were any improvements and because I was craving cava. I don't know what happened to cava maybe it's just this location but the portions are tiny. I ordered salmon extra and paid like nine dollars for over nine dollars and they didn't even pack it in there barely any chicken hardly any size or portion is incredibly stingy. I guess this is the way they roll. read more

Came back to this location and was sorely disappointed in the staff. Beyond the attitude and pure apathy from the staff preparing our food and checking us out, I found a piece of plastic in my Steak + Harissa. Normally we've had decent experiences with this location, but this left me feeling sour. The staff barely looked up at us when we ordered and served us with sighs and eye rolls. Overall, the food is up to Cava standard, but the staff make me not want to revisit this location. No one likes chewing on plastic! read more

Loving the build your own bowl.. much better choices and fresh items than the 'Ch' chain. They also have some great combos to pick if building your own gives you anxiety with all the great choices. The Lemon mint drink is amazing!! Staff is helpful and patient with my indecisiveness for my first time here. It's super clean, not a long line at lunch, and plenty of seats. Will see you again soon! read more

Wanted Cava for lunch after attending a meeting in Southlake. I tried the Garlic Chicken + Veggie minus onions add olives and pickles. Yall!!! It was so good!!! I didn't have time to take a picture! I dug right in and was in heaven!!! The pita chips were seasoned and crispy, as well!! The service was awesome and it was an empty building so that's always great for me-get in them get out. Will go back when I'm in Southlake again!! read more

I was in the area and decided to place a mobile order to be picked up when they opened, I even gave it a few extra minutes before heading in. Upon walking in, I didn't see my order on the pick-up rack so I waited in line. Fifteen minutes later, I finally received my food. I'm happy I didn't do this during my lunch, I would have returned late or requested a refund and left with nothing. My first observation, the employees moved very slowly, they moved with no intent or purpose. It made no sense; I would have sworn, that everyone who tended to those waiting, was new to their position. The presentation of my bowl, oh goodness! When the guy gave me the bag with my salad in it, he asked me to be careful due to the lid not being put on properly. Also, there were pieces of avocado that fell out of the bowl and were hanging out in the corner of the bag. This visit was just odd, I love CAVA and this does not change that. I'm used to the CAVA in Euless, and I think I'll keep it that way. The cleanliness of the store, I had no issues with. read more

My first time trying Cava and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Green & grain bowl with Arugula, saffron rice, Tzatziki, crazy feta, Harissa honey chicken, Fiery broccoli, pickled onion, tomato & cucumber (the one mixed already), Kalamata olives, crumbled feta and Balsamic vinaigrette drizzled on top. It was everything I hoped for plus more! I will definitely return! The service was speedy and all employees were kind and helpful! read more

Cava always hits every time I get it. My go to order is a custom salad bowl. I've tried several of their meats and I think the lamb meatballs and the steak are the best. The honey chicken was average in my opinion. I will say that I did not care much for the red pepper hummus. I also thought the olives were much too salty. The pickled onions are a nice, sweet touch to the bowl. Overall, always a delicious experience! read more

This is the second time in a row I've received a completely different meal than what I ordered, but there is no one to get ahold of. I've now tried this place 4 times. The first time was good. The second time I ordered 4 meals for my family and every single one was cold. Last time, completely wrong order when I picked up. This time, completely wrong order again. You can see what I ordered- what I got was lamb meatballs (I don't eat lamb), rice, and a few toppings. read more

Store manager is very rude. While she prepared my order, there were no other customers but she kept on talking negative and after I picked up my order, my appetite went away. She also prepared the order wrong and added incorrect proportions of ingredients and despite reminder, either intentionally or probably being mad, kept on missing the ingredients which I requested for. Another worker came outside to help me load the bags in my car trunk and apologized on her behalf. She had a big attitude. I think she is the reason, this location of CAVA will loose loyal customers and they will go to other nearby CAVA locations. read more

The lady taking the order didn't even look up to talk to me Couldn't have been more rude Every ingredient was low or out to make my bowl The little lettuce they did put in there was white or brown The table next to me had a dog with them Cleanliness of the place was subpar Have liked cava in the past but I certainly won't be back to this one and maybe not to any of them read more

So I'm a hold out. My wife has been trying to get me here for the past year. It just never seemed like my first choice. Leave it to my son and his wife to suggest it tonight. We had a short amount of time to eat and head over to the high school stadium for Friday Night Football. As soon as I walked in it seemed familiar. Looked like a Chipotle but smelled a lot better. I really love Mediterranean food. Picked the bowl with brown rice, veggies, olives (my favorite), Tzatziki, Hummus and of course the Lamb. I had preconceived pictures in my head that this was a foofoo place. To my surprise the bowl was pretty full. The proof was going to be in the first bite. WOW I was literally blown away. The rice and lamb was hearty and filling. Not to mention perfectly cooked and seasoned. What sent me over the top was the cucumber salad added that gave it almost a light refreshing spin too. Needless to say we were in and out in 30 AND I found my new favorite go to for dinner out with my wife. This deserves a GOLDEN 6th read more

OMG! Best customer service ever!!! If you believe in spending your hard-earned money at a place that truly cares about its customers--this is the one. I stopped in for a quick lunch, and when I went to pay, my card was unexpectedly declined. I found out my bank had restricted my account due to fraudulent activity. I was panicked and embarrassed. Jonathan--who prepared my food and rang me up--was incredibly kind and patient. His calm, friendly attitude helped me stay grounded while I sorted things out with my bank. It's rare to find someone in the service industry who handles situations like that with so much grace. Jonathan was a great hire, and I'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend! read more

GO TO CAVA IN ALLIANCE INSTEAD!!! Former employee here. Typically I stay at a job for a few years as long as I'm happy and treated well - I lasted three days before every single person I spoke to warned me about reasons to quit. Every single day someone complained about something new. Unequal hiring process and unfair treatment. Manager was informed of my disabilities NUMEROUS times (I'm talking 4 times over a 2-3 day timespan) and we had sit down conversations about it - immediately he tried to schedule me 9 days in a row with 1 day off in a week. When brought to his attention that I'm disabled he looked confused and said "oh... you are? I didn't know that." Most of the employees are wonderful, but the managers treat their employees like shit. A lot of disrespect and overwork happens behind closed doors - denied lunches and aggressive behavior. Employees have outright said they are not happy with management. Tables always dirty and bathrooms often ignored. Portions are small so you need to ask for more, but often times my bowls were half full as a customer. Was told while I was on the job to make portions smaller to avoid having to refill stations (I.E. skimp out on toppings because it's hard to get support on keeping stations filled) I was offered to be rehired by the area manager but declined because I felt uncomfortable staying. Alliance is SOOO much better. Great portions. Good atmosphere. Be warned - don't work at cava in Southlake. read more

The food was good but the service not so welcoming everyone seemed to be in a bad mood. When we kindly asked for sauce in the side we thought she misunderstood us and said "oh no the side in a container please" and she responded with an attitude "I know". Then the cashier didn't seem to happy to be at work when she set our food down for us to take she pretty much threw it down rudely and walked away kind of felt like she wanted to get rid of us. Other then the service the food was good environment was clean just need to work on being in a better mood. read more

What a cool place. It's like chipotle for Mediterranean food. Create a bowl or a pita sandwich and if you aren't sure, choose from any of the pre-created recipes they have listed. The line to order takes a bit of time to get thru at busy times, I think mainly because people are new and asking questions... the people creating your bowls were very friendly and patiently explain the process and provide recommendations. There is plenty of indoor and even patio seating to enjoy the nice weather! We will definitely come back and I'll bring my family next time so my boys can try it. read more

Love this new place! So healthy and delicious ! Basically like a Mediterranean salad bowls chipotle style. You pick out your base grains/greens. Main meats and then toppings. Our favorite dressing was the yogurt lemon dill. The tahini herb was okay. The special lemon vinaigrette is as it sounds. Tangy tart and slightly sweet. My favorite meat was the harissa honey chicken. So much flavor with a bit of spice ! But not so spicy that my bf could still eat it. The beef meatballs were good but a little dry. If you get a bowl, a small pita comes with it, but you have to request for it. Def will be back when we are craving something healthy! read more

Everything is pretty much delicious. You cannot go wrong!!! I usually will do maybe just lentils or chicken usually. Today, I tried the meatball and wow! I'm blown away -- it's yummy!! I've frequented the Southlake, Denton, and Fort Worth Cava locations and Southlake is by far my favorite! it's clean, the employees are always friendly and helpful, and the food is great every time I stop by. Today I was helped by Hannah and I believe her manager who I didn't get the name of. We have been to Cava 6 times now. Each time, the food is good but the service continues to get worse. Last night we got there at 6:45. There were only 3 people in front of us, a father and son and a single woman. There were 3 people on the line, but only two were making food, the third ran the register. The workers were new because they had to use cards to make the bowls. They made a bowl for the boy when he clearly stated he wanted a pita. They then had to go back and start over why we waited. The girl in front of us ordered 3 bowls to go. They were different, so again they had to use the cards. When they finally got to us, 17 minutes later, I ordered a make your own bowl. The card on the glass clearly states choose up to three toppings. I did and was told I would have to pay more for 3. I told her that was wrong and she said ok. We say down to eat and watched the line grow longer and longer. It took forever for the other patrons. Some left before ordering. The food is good, but the staff needs some serious training. It's always different young people working, so I'm sure they have a turn-over issue. Almost forgot... the last time we were there, they were out of forks. An employee had gone to Sam's to buy more. We had to eat with spoons. Just as we were finishing, they brought us a fork. How do you not know you don't have enough forks for the evening? Order pick up until they get things straightened out. read more

I mean I would expect more from a cava location especially this being in southlake of all places. I ordered pick up, drove 40 mins there/back..get home and my order was incorrect --they could have literally left out anything and I wouldn't notice but how do you accidentally leave out the chicken? Ridiculous. I can't drive back to get a new order and nobody answers the phone. I've called 3 times! I can understand being busy but I mean of all the ingredients you're going to leave out the one thing I basically paid extra for and expected to be on my salad. Now I have to literally add some chicken from my home and wasted $12 to get lettuce? Thanks. read more
