Plastic piece I found in my Steak + Harissa.
    Ariana V.

Came back to this location and was sorely disappointed in the staff. Beyond the attitude and pure apathy from the staff preparing our food and checking us out, I found a piece of plastic in my Steak + Harissa. Normally we've had decent experiences with this location, but this left me feeling sour. The staff barely looked up at us when we ordered and served us with sighs and eye rolls. Overall, the food is up to Cava standard, but the staff make me not want to revisit this location. No one likes chewing on plastic!

Build your own bowl- super tasty

Loving the build your own bowl.. much better choices and fresh items than the 'Ch' chain. They also have some great combos to pick if building your own gives you anxiety with all the great choices. The Lemon mint drink is amazing!! Staff is helpful and patient with my indecisiveness for my first time here. It's super clean, not a long line at lunch, and plenty of seats. Will see you again soon!

    The wrong humus...

Ordered a grain bowl and almost immediately had food poisoning. Very awful and violent. On top of that, I ordered red pepper humus and received regular. I ordered a grain bowl with double chicken and got no chicken. I've been an avid CAVA patron for many years but this soured my experience forever. This particular location has awful reviews on every major food app (read the reviews) and seemingly gives no care to fixing anything...

This is the second time in a row I've received a completely different meal than what I ordered, but there is no one to get ahold of. I've now tried this place 4 times. The first time was good. The second time I ordered 4 meals for my family and every single one was cold. Last time, completely wrong order when I picked up. This time, completely wrong order again. You can see what I ordered- what I got was lamb meatballs (I don't eat lamb), rice, and a few toppings.

I was in the area and decided to place a mobile order to be picked up when they opened, I even gave it a few extra minutes before heading in. Upon walking in, I didn't see my order on the pick-up rack so I waited in line. Fifteen minutes later, I finally received my food. I'm happy I didn't do this during my lunch, I would have returned late or requested a refund and left with nothing. My first observation, the employees moved very slowly, they moved with no intent or purpose. It made no sense; I would have sworn, that everyone who tended to those waiting, was new to their position. The presentation of my bowl, oh goodness! When the guy gave me the bag with my salad in it, he asked me to be careful due to the lid not being put on properly. Also, there were pieces of avocado that fell out of the bowl and were hanging out in the corner of the bag. This visit was just odd, I love CAVA and this does not change that. I'm used to the CAVA in Euless, and I think I'll keep it that way. The cleanliness of the store, I had no issues with.

Cava always hits every time I get it. My go to order is a custom salad bowl. I've tried several of their meats and I think the lamb meatballs and the steak are the best. The honey chicken was average in my opinion. I will say that I did not care much for the red pepper hummus. I also thought the olives were much too salty. The pickled onions are a nice, sweet touch to the bowl. Overall, always a delicious experience!

So I'm a hold out. My wife has been trying to get me here for the past year. It just never seemed like my first choice. Leave it to my son and his wife to suggest it tonight. We had a short amount of time to eat and head over to the high school stadium for Friday Night Football. As soon as I walked in it seemed familiar. Looked like a Chipotle but smelled a lot better. I really love Mediterranean food. Picked the bowl with brown rice, veggies, olives (my favorite), Tzatziki, Hummus and of course the Lamb. I had preconceived pictures in my head that this was a foofoo place. To my surprise the bowl was pretty full. The proof was going to be in the first bite. WOW I was literally blown away. The rice and lamb was hearty and filling. Not to mention perfectly cooked and seasoned. What sent me over the top was the cucumber salad added that gave it almost a light refreshing spin too. Needless to say we were in and out in 30 AND I found my new favorite go to for dinner out with my wife. This deserves a GOLDEN 6th

We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!

They have the various different flavored tea. The Decor, cute, and effective. It's like there is a vibe of trying to be a local restaurant yet they are trying to survive in a corporate world. Now me being a T1D foodie means that I seek out meals comprised of meat and vegetables. Being a diabetic foodie is not fun or easy. My number one midday option is salad. If I were ever to be in a position in the restaurant world where I could Influence the menu, I would definitely make a true meal size salad a common option industry wide. In my opinion, ordering a salad isn't secret code for "I really don't want to eat." This is nothing against the original chophouse in particular because I have a hard time finding a salad at any restaurant that hits the spot. Yes, when we left the restaurant, I was still hungry. My wife didn't enjoy her meal very much because there was way too much salad dressing for her liking. The kids enjoyed it, I think. My little boy will eat just about anything. I never know what my daughter's gonna do in the way of ingesting calories. All I can do is offer her food and see what happens. There was nothing extraordinary about this little place. Unfortunately, for any business in Southlake, I seem to put higher expectations on them when I'm in that area. I don't guess that's fair to anyone involved with whatever kind of business transaction I may find myself dealing with while in that part of town. I would definitely go back there, but I would study the menu a bit more in order to find something that is a bit more filling.

Our waitress was very fast and helpful with picking out our foods based on our likes. Once the food came out, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals, including myself. We started the table off with the biscuits and fried green tomatoes (demolished!). I kept it simple with the chicken and waffles (delicioius and crispy), which was a HUGE helping (yum!). Others at my table enjoyed the the shrimp and grits and WB chicken sandwich. No complaints heard from them!
