When it was our turn to order Hannah who was really friendly and attentive, did us a favor by letting us know beforehand what they were out of. That was very much appreciated. Then Alison gave us friendly customer service and answered the few questions we did have about the pickled onions (which are to die for!). Everytime I come to this location it's something o have had maybe a few good experiences here every time I feel like I'm arguing with the worker about the smallest thing this time I only ask for a little bit extra rice and the girl made me just feel like I was giving her such a hard time and I asked to try the lamb because it was looking a little bit different today like I've been sitting there a while and she acted like it was such a problem when in doubt they have sampler cups so that customers can try food. It's like you're gonna be working in a place where customer service is key I feel like you shouldn't give your customers a hard time by every little thing and then have a attitude with them and then make them feel like they don't even wanna come back because that's where I'm at at this point I might as well just go to a different location because the customer service here is crap. read more

We have been to Cava 6 times now. Each time, the food is good but the service continues to get worse. Last night we got there at 6:45. There were only 3 people in front of us, a father and son and a single woman. There were 3 people on the line, but only two were making food, the third ran the register. The workers were new because they had to use cards to make the bowls. They made a bowl for the boy when he clearly stated he wanted a pita. They then had to go back and start over why we waited. The girl in front of us ordered 3 bowls to go. They were different, so again they had to use the cards. When they finally got to us, 17 minutes later, I ordered a make your own bowl. The card on the glass clearly states choose up to three toppings. I did and was told I would have to pay more for 3. I told her that was wrong and she said ok. We say down to eat and watched the line grow longer and longer. It took forever for the other patrons. Some left before ordering. The food is good, but the staff needs some serious training. It's always different young people working, so I'm sure they have a turn-over issue. Almost forgot... the last time we were there, they were out of forks. An employee had gone to Sam's to buy more. We had to eat with spoons. Just as we were finishing, they brought us a fork. How do you not know you don't have enough forks for the evening? I was very disappointed with my service here. When the young man who was adding my toppings just up and left to go talk to his girl coworker who added the base to my bowl I was just left in complete shock. Please hire better qualified kids. I stood there for about 5 minutes. The young man who was at the register ended up having to help complete my order while the original kid continued his conversation with the young lady. Im not sure if he was flustered but even he didn't offer any sauces to my bowl. When I asked about a topping he pointed to glass and told me that all the toppings are listed. I'm not sure how extensive the training here is or hiring process but this is only my second time to a cava and both have been in separate locations but I have experienced bad customer service at both locations. I LOVE CAVA but this location is so consistently under supplied I can't support this location any more. I have twice been here at 1:00 on a Saturday to have over 50% of their fresh ingredients not available. This location also seems to water down their dressings (I assume because they are running low). Really disappointed with this location. We've given it SO many chances, but now we're just fed up. Staff seem poorly trained and really bored and miserable. Trash cans are overflowing. Tables are dirty. The last three times we've been there, they were OUT OF PITA- a staple of most meals there. All were weeknights when it didn't seem that busy, and no one could tell is how long it would be before we'd expect more pita. If they could get it together, we'd probably eat here once a week, but I think we're done. My husband didn't like it as much because having never been there before the staff just assumed we knew how it worked so ordering was something of a challenge. He ordered a pita sandwich and several items he tried to order had an up charge which wasn't clear just walking in and trying to figure out an order. But his sandwich was huge and tasted good. Our daughter had the kids meal which she wasn't excited about but ended up really enjoying. Awful experience at CAVA Southlake. For the past 5 or 6 months I have been a loyal customer at CAVA Southlake for lunch. I was really excited for when they opened because I knew CAVA from California, it's been frustrating to see the employees have to read the recipe cards every time I ask for a bowl compared to California where they know what they are doing and do it fast. But well... this was my first time being here for dinner, and when I arrived there there was no one in line, this was a little bit before 8:00PM, there was a single young lady in the line to prepare the bowls and I ordered 3 of their Harisa Avocado Bowls. To start out with, she didn't have rice so she turned her back to request from the kitchen and proceeded to put the rice in my 3 bowls. I asked "Doesn't the rice goes over the greens?" And she said "It doesn't matter." That was news to me after having lots of bowls always with the greens on the bottom. Next I had to tell her what dips to put on because she didn't know, REGARDLESS of the fact she was holding the recipe card in her hand. Next thing was the meat, well her line was a mess, all the ingredients over the surface over each other. I wonder how someone vegetarian can trust eat their veggies here if they where all mixed with the chicken. Next step was toppings and this area in addition to being all dirty and with ingredients all over the surface was practically empty. The first topping in a Harisa bowl is corn, she says "I am sorry but I don't have more," I asked her if she could please check. She went to the back and came back with a full container and instead of switching it with the one she has in the line she puts all the new corn over the leftovers of the old one, then she has to go to the back to get cucumbers, olives, pickles because she didn't have anything in her line. The final step was the avocado, which she didn't even bother to cut. I asked to talk to the manager (I have seen 4 different persons with the General Manager tag in their shirts in the past months since the store opening, I address to him how dirty and all over the place was the line and to my astonishment he confirmed that "It's because we restock over the leftovers new product." WHAT??? This guy in charge doesn't have any knowledge of food safety??? Everyone with common sense knows the rule of first in first out, imagine all the bacteria growing here throughout the day between items being restocked with different temperatures. Then I pointed to him they have cleaning products in the same surface where they where handling food and he said "Yes" and then I told him how his trash can was overflowing right there next to the food and again he said "Yes". He gave me a lot of attitude, he was rude, disrespectful and didn't show any concern about how poor the service I received was. He seemed bothered about having to come to the front to talk me and didn't care about having the young lady by itself preparing food while he was in the back. read more

We placed a large to go order through the app, we were missing several items. I attempted to call the store as we are located 20 mins from this location, no answer and a full mailbox. I went back to the store, the manager was so rude and argumentative. She replaced what was forgotten and was not polite or apologetic.
