FIRST AND FOREMOST they have these YOUNG kids at the counter, that don't really want to be there. SECOND they were just slamming the food all sloppy into my bowl. I didn't trip because it is what it is. Not to mention I used the timer on my watch I was in the line for 11mins getting my bowl made at a place that should be for convenience. Last thing is I get to the register and pay cash and the employee asked me if I wanted my change. As I'm leaving there were NO FORKS. Fast forward to when I get back to work. I start eating my bowl and I'm picking around stuff because it just looked so nasty. I got the braised lamb and it looked like some funky substance not lamb. And there's a poop of liquid sitting in the bottom only my bowl. If I could I would've rented everything a -10... not only was the customer service terrible BUT so was the food!!! That's probably why there was NO ONE in line or in the facility AT ALL!! My best friend is a GM in Florida and ofcourse I called her to vent about this. This was unacceptable!!! The Salmon+Yogurt Dill bowl was delicious- fresh, flavorful and a nice variety of vegetables that complement the salmon. The yogurt dill sauce is on the side of the bowl so you can add in as much as you want. The bowl was packed with flavor and I will definitely order it again. The service was quick and the seating was spacious inside and out. Busy at lunchtime but line moved quickly. read more

I did a pick up order 03/08/25, and received a bowl that 1. Had a hair in it, 2. Had the wrong type of greens, 3. Was missing two of my add ins (tomato and onions, and feta), and 4. Stopped in without any idea what to expect. The middle eastern style food served Chipotle style was fabulous!! Couldn't love it more! The mint lemonade style drink was addicting! The only negative was that in an almost empty restaurant the staff wasn't very helpful or engaging. We will def be back! read more

I have had very disappointing food fulfillment at Cava lately but this takes the cake. I will never be going to Cava again. They are now adapting shrink-flation habits similar to Chipotle. Just because I ordered online doesn't mean I'm deserving of a half filled to go order. I used to get such full bowls I could split them into 2 meals. I asked for falafel and was given 1 and I could only find 3 pieces of chicken. I also am missing the broccoli, pickles, and cucumbers clearly listed in my order. I just got sauce and rice with the bare minimum. Even the free pita bread tasted chemically, almost like soap. This is ridiculous. read more

Same as has been reported, Coppell location is ALWAYS out of Lamb balls - it's 1:30 and again they're out! Employees seem pissed to be there, and the prices... up to $15.+ for a bowl now! They advertise a "big bowl" but no one knows the price till you get up to the register then it's too late to cancel!!! Horribly run location. If you want it, and are willing to drive a few more min, Go to another location. Even then, they will increase prices as long as people pay it. read more

If you like lamb meatballs don't come here, it is truly remarkable how often they are out of it. No one in front of me ordered it. I was in line for 15 minutes and when I got to the front it was still 15 minutes til it was ready. I end up having to pay for food I don't want because by the time you get to the meat half the bowl is made. Also do not order this for delivery if there's any sort of discount they won't make the meal and they won't cancel, so after 3 different drivers waste their valuable working time waiting for food a negligent owner refuses to supply. So I've been meaning to try Cava for awhile now, and today I finally did!! While the food was good, the customer service at this location was PHENOMENAL!! Seeing as it was my first time, I had a few questions and the two ladies helping me were SO kind, patient, and helpful!! They made the BEST suggestions and went out of their way to make sure that I had a great experience!! I had a lot going on and now that I'm thinking about it, I don't remember what their names were, which is unfortunate, because they absolutely deserve to be recognized!! They truly went above and beyond for me, and after the day I had, it truly meant so much. I am so grateful for their kindness. Anyway - ON TO THE FOOD!! I had a greens and grains bowl with the Superfood greens and the Saffron Basmati Rice. For my protein I got the Honey Harissa Chicken. For my toppings I did the pita crisps, tomato and cucumber, pickled onions, tomato and onion, fire roasted corn, and Persian cucumbers. I got a variety of sauces, and I got them all on the side, (just in case I didn't like any of them). SO glad that I did that! There were a few I wasn't a fan of, but the ones that I liked and ended up putting in my bowl were the harissa spread, skhug, garlic dressing, and the hot harissa vinaigrette!! As someone who likes at least a little bit of spice, I think I had the perfect combination of sauces for my preference, so FYI - if you're like me, DO NOT SKIP the skhug, the harissa spread, and vinaigrette!! Then if you want, add some garlic dressing to balance it all out. SO GOOD!! There were SO many textures and flavor profiles going on in this bowl and somehow, it all worked together perfectly!! All the vegetables were super crisp and fresh, and the chicken was juicy and delightfully seasoned!! I figured the honey harissa chicken may be too sweet, but thankfully that wasn't the case. It had a touch of sweetness, but it was definitely more savory overall, so that was a nice surprise!! Oh and before I forget, I have to talk about the drinks!! I decided to put together a random concoction of the classic lemonade, cucumber mint lime, and the pineapple apple mint. Not quite sure what the ratios were, but I did mostly classic lemonade and a splash of the other two and somehow it turned out amazing!! It was light, super refreshing, and delicious!! So yeah - long story long, the customer service ALONE warranted 5 billion stars, but thankfully the food was fantastic as well!! The concept is great. Unfortunately this location is a disaster. The people behind the counter are constantly rude, to go orders are wrong, the restaurant is dirty with sticky floors and unclean tables, and I have never seen a manager anywhere. I'm giving up on this place. read more

CAVA, where have you been all my life?! Seriously I consider myself to be a bonafide foodie and I just found out about this lovely gem a few weeks ago. Mediterranean food never seemed appealing to me because I wasn't sure it packed enough flavor to satisfy my taste buds but boy was I wrong. Healthy and tasty actually make a fine combination here. I typically get the grains and leafy greens bowl with the honey chicken, tons of toppings and of course the red pepper humus with a dollop of dressing. Each time I've visit the service has been impeccable and I left with a smile. I'm always greeted promptly by a staff member and helped throughout the ordering process. It gives chipotle vibes without the chaos. Plus they have locations all over. Get here before the masses find out and overcrowd them. Tell them Tam sent you. read more

I switched my bowl up a bit and it was almost perfect, but the lentils were undercooked which made an unpleasant texture experience, but despite that everything else was delicious. Horrible service.. Made to wait 45 minutes for cold food.. Placed mobile order with estimated pickup time of 7:45. Go into store at 7:55, am told that we need a while to finish the order because there are people in the store ordering? I already placed my order but whatever.. then I am approached with my food after waiting 20-25 minutes extra and told with a smile, "Its been ready for a while here you go" Horrible service and I hope those employees are replaced because the food was never even placed in the online order pickup rack. read more

My first time trying CAVA and I was satisfied not only about the food but the service provided by the employee. Because it was my first time, I was confused about what I can get, how many servings I'm allowed to get, and the limits to what I can get on the side. The employee was super nice and explained every little thing and it couldn't make me any more happier. By the end of filling up my order, I was so shocked at how big the portion was, not to mention the colorfulness. I wasn't sure what sauce I wanted so the employee offered to provide them on the side. I've eaten Cava twice now. I like the food and love the concept. I need to figure out how to order the right items in a bowl or salad. The menu / ordering isn't intuitive to me. My salad came 1/2 full. I'm sure I did something wrong, if after two orders, I haven't found my go-to order. The food though is good enough that I will keep trying. read more

The Mediterranean Chipotle is how it was described to me. I've been an avid Chipotle fan for 20 years, so this piece of information intrigued me. The first time I visited, I WAS HOOKED! Ya'll, If I am not at Salad & Go, I am at CAVA!--I'm talking weekly trips to this place. To some extent, ridiculous. I always go for the BUILD-YOUR-OWN grains and greens bowl because high key, I'm a control freak. Similar concept to Chipotle--pick your base, protein, veggies and toppers. You can also select one of their signature bowls, pita sammies and/or salads if you wish to forgo the BYO option. My favorite protein is the braised lamb--first of all, who else in fast casual does lamb?! Slow cooked, tender, flavorful meat without all the gamey-ness. At a whopping $3 upcharge, I don't indulge until pay day. The grilled chicken, lamb meatballs, and regular meatballs would all be close seconds. The harissa chicken is a little too spicy for me. I've tried all of the spreads and dressings--the crazy feta and tahini caeser would be my favorites. I would skip the roasted eggplant all together; weirdly enough, it tasted like a burnt s'more. The bowls, pitas and salads will run you about $10.17--&11.01 once tax is included. You'll pay more at Chipotle since they hiked their prices. That being said, get your hungry butt to CAVA! read more

I absolutely love Cava, and often go to the one in Legacy West in Plano. However, this location is nearest to where I live so I occasionally come to this one. The last two visits to this location have been a poor experience. The first time was about a month ago; my husband and I were on our way home from DFW airport and were hungry. It was half an hour to closing, so we didn't come in expecting great service, but Cava has a reputation for consistently providing a good experience. The food was great as usual, but the drink machines and trash cans had all already been emptied. I'm happy to pay 3.25 for their lemonade, blueberry lavender drink, or one of their other juices, but not for a lukewarm soda that came from a machine with no ice. Today, we came at lunch time with a visiting friend who has worked a long time in food service. We were expecting it to be busy, but no big deal because we love Cava and know many other people love it too. I built a bowl as usual, and my husband ordered a pre-designed bowl with a couple modifications, so I made a point to tell the cashier exactly what we ordered because I know lunch rush can be stressful and honest mistakes happen. When I got to the register, the woman working rushed to check me out while my husband was still ordering, and spoke so quickly that I had to stop and correct her that we wanted 1 drink and 1 water when she asked if we wanted drinks and pita chips. I had said no to the pita chips as she was talking over me about the drinks, but when she rang me up I knew the total was too high and checked the receipt. I looked over to my husband and asked if he had ordered pita chips, to which he said no. As he was saying this, she interrupted again and told me "I asked if you if you wanted chips, and you said yes." I hadn't yet assumed the mistake was her fault, and was completely taken aback at how rudely and aggressively she accused me of being responsible for the mistake. My friend who was with us, who has never been to Cava or Texas before, was incredibly taken aback and said to me that would not fly where he works (another corporate food service chain). I later checked the receipt, and we were also overcharged for my husband's bowl. He also worked many years in food service in high school and college, and informed me that this was typical behavior for a lazy cashier. We will be avoiding this location whenever possible in the future after these two separate experiences. The three stars is solely because the food remains fantastic. read more

We visited Cava for a quick and healthy meal. Similar to a chipotle, the restaurant allows you to start with a bowl and then add meat and toppings as you proceed down the line. I tried the chicken, saffron rice, and super greens bowl filled with grains and vegetables. The bowl was tasty, although I would have preferred a little more meat. Once I got home I noticed that I was charged for an item that I did not purchase. Although the amount was small...I hate paying for things that I don't receive. I thought about calling to make them aware but said to myself that I would just wait until my next visit and talk to the manager, let them know about my experience, and go from there. I had wanted to try this place out I tried this out for the first time with a friend. She told me she loves the food! I concur! Delicious! I tasted every flavorful ingredient! My braised lamb was tender and moist! The different hummus spread roasted red pepper, traditional and harissa all mixed well! There was not one thing I did not like. I also enjoyed the cucumber mint and strawberry drink. There was no high fructose corn syrup to mask how bad the drink would be withoutit.
