Regular Cava, regular food. I don't think there's any difference between Cava locations food wise. But the service here was probably the worst I've ever had at a Cava. The guy serving us was very young. He reminded me of a young version of my previous boss. He mixed up what grains we were supposed to have, which is fine, no hard feelings, you can't really go too wrong at Cava. But he was very reluctant to do anything, decently slow, and he kept pulling ingredients from somewhere in the back instead of right in front of us, which I thought was weird. Maybe he was trying to grab fresher ones, I don't know. That's just speculation. We paid, went to grab forks, and there were none anywhere. We came back and asked for one. He said okay. My husband stood in front of the register waiting. The other guy working there, taller, younger, asked what he was waiting for. My husband said a fork. He said I'll get to it. Then he proceeded to refill the forks with the eating side facing up, without any cover, and he was wearing a glove while doing it. I would not take a fork from there. They are fully exposed. All it takes is one sneeze nearby and that fork is not clean. I did not vibe with that at all. I noticed they all store them that way, so this might be something the whole chain needs to fix. Either way, not impressed. Service was the worst Cava experience we've had. Food was okay, just fine. Not the best visit. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that. read more

We used to avoid this location, because of the skimpy portions. Literally the portions were smaller every visit until we finally said enough and started going to the Coppell location instead. We recently tried it out again and happy to say the food, portions, and everything else was great! Hi, My husband and I long-time CAVA customers. CAVA is consistently our top choice whenever we eat out, to the point where we are genuinely disappointed if we travel to a city without a location nearby. However, our experience today at the Las Colinas, TX location was so atrocious that I felt compelled to file a formal complaint and leave this review. I don't post negative reviews, but the treatment we received today was unacceptable. I want to detail our experience clearly and objectively: * Upon approaching the counter, the server serving us--who was wearing a white headscarf under a black CAVA hat (I regret not asking for his name)--failed to greet us entirely or acknowledge us at any point during or after our order. While I understand service workers get tired, his complete lack of basic courtesy was immediate noticeable. * When I requested two scoops of red pepper hummus, the container was virtually empty. As he aggressively scraped the bottom of the bowl to extract a minimal amount, I directly asked if he could swap it for a fresh container. He deliberately ignored my request, acted as if he could not hear me, and slapped the tiny scraped portions into my bowl. Unbelievably, immediately after completing our order, he replaced the empty container with a fresh one for the next customer. The issue isn't just the tiny portion size; it is the total lack of care and the decision to deny us fresh food while immediately offering it to the person behind us. * Realizing we had not yet signed up for CAVA Rewards despite being regular customers, we asked how to set up an account to earn points. He responded with dismissive, one-word answers, telling us to just "do it in the app." A female coworker standing next to him explicitly mentioned to him that we could scan our receipt retroactively after creating an account, yet he didn't even bother to relay this helpful information to us. He simply stood there silently, waiting for us to pay and leave. * While checking us out, another employee came over, and the two of them began laughing right in front of us while we were at the register. Given the entire interaction up to that point, it felt intensely uncomfortable, unprofessional, and gave us the distinct impression that we were being mocked. * Initially, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he was simply quiet or hyper-focused on fulfilling orders accurately. That assumption was completely shattered when I observed him serving the customer directly behind me--smiling, engaging in normal conversation, and providing welcoming service. Seeing such a stark contrast in treatment made it blatantly clear that we were singled out and treated with targeted disrespect. This level of unprofessionalism and clear customer discrimination is entirely unacceptable for a brand we have supported for years. Based on this experience, we will not be returning to this store. Management urgently needs to address employee behavior and staff standards at this location. read more

I rarely leave reviews but this Cava is genuinely one of the worst locations I've ever been to. I've had multiple instances where the workers are blatantly rude and act like they are bothered by any requests. The first time I went one of the male workers was so rude to me just because I didn't know the difference between some of their lettuce options. He was also wearing a tank top which I felt like was very unsanitary. After that interaction I actually cried and left. I went again hoping for a different experience and this time another male worker acted like I was bothering him the whole time I ordered and when they didn't include my dressing and I asked very nicely for it he was very rude in response. I will say there are a few of the female workers who are nice but overall I would say they are not kind or helpful at this location and as for the portion sizes they are so small you have to order double and if you even think of asking for more they'll get annoyed with you. The only reason I come back to this location is because it's the closest one to me but even then I rarely come anymore because of the workers. read more

Lunch rush hour is real! Line was super long around 12:15pm on a Tuesday with about 20-30 people in front of me. Got to the counter to order around 12:40pm. Ordered the Harissa Avocado bowl with grilled chicken & steak. I added tzatziki and garlic dressing, both was fresh and delicious. I took a star because the they really skimp you on the portions of the hummus and dressing. Service was friendly and ordering was smooth. read more

I love CAVA but this location is not it. This one is about 5 mins from me and there's another one 10 minutes from me, I almost choose to drive to the further one to avoid this place. Unfortunately on Sunday I made the wrong choice by giving this location another shot. When I arrived, there were 2 people ahead of me. They both left the line due to the excessive wait. After 30 minutes of waiting, I asked them how much longer it would be until I would be helped. The kid said "for what?" I replied, "well to be helped, I also see you're out of all the rices?" He said "we have more in the back" and walked away. 5 mins later i decided to leave since I had already been there for 35 minutes and hadn't ordered yet. It was a mess. Came here earlier in the week, I believe on a Tuesday around 12/12:30, during the lunch rush. There were two people working the line, 2 people were working online orders, and one cook. The line was almost touching the back wall. I just want to commend the workers because none of them looked flustered or frustrated. They were handling the lunch run rush really well. But 2 people is just not enough. I think I waited about 40 mins to get my food. I just wish they had more help, I hope the owner/manager sees this. When it finally showed up--20 minutes late due to "preparation," not the driver--it looked like something my dog would refuse to eat. The proportions were all wrong, like someone just dumped random scraps in a bowl. Presentation? Think "cafeteria leftovers" meets "yard accident." The taste was no better--bland in some bites, weirdly bitter in others. The chicken was dry, the beans were mushy, and the dressing tasted like it had given up on life. I've had better meals in airport vending machines. If this is what CAVA considers worth waiting extra for, I can only imagine what a "rush job" looks like. Ordered the "Harissa Avocado Bowl" based on a review stating that it had "so much flavor and texture". Was supposed to come with harissa honey chicken, hot harissa vinaigrette, Crazy Feta®, hummus, fire-roasted corn, avocado, pickled onions, Persian cucumber, feta, basmati rice, and SuperGreens. As the gentleman made the bowl, he had to awkwardly look up behind and above him to the customer order screen to see what to put in it. Because of that he missed at least three of the listed ingredients and sent it on down to the cashier as "completed". I had to ask to get the remaining ingredients added. You'd think they'd have "cheat cards" in front of them for the newbies or those that can't remember what goes in each. Price was pretty steep for what it was. Trash was overflowing all over the ground. Not sure I'd rush back anytime soon to repeat today's experience. read more

I have been wanting to try this place right next to Whole foods. I understood it to be a Mediterranean sort of Chipotle with bowls and wraps. Hubbs and I arrived around 12:30pm on a Wednesday and the line was maybe 25 folks deep, but it moved pretty quickly. I had hubby wait in line while I popped into Whole Foods to get a bag of chips (They only offer pita chips here). We got the regular chicken wrap, we told the guy making it that it was our first time there and he didn't even charge us! Hubbs also got a strawberry drink (I tried the blueberry lavender drink which was SOOO good, I kinda want to get a big one and take it home to make cocktails.) The wraps are hard to split - but i just whacked it in half and it held up pretty well. Boy, did this sandwich HIT THE SPOT!! It had chicken, hummus, lettuce, tomatoes (another spread I can't remember) and what made this great was a bunch of Kalamata olives. WOW, fresh crunchy, chewy (all the textures and fresh flavors that were just a perfect light lunch). I could totally have eaten a whole one - but would have been stuffed, half was actually perfect. I thought the lamb meat and the spicy chicken options looked good too on the line as they were serving folks, but I will be hard pressed to order anything other than that chicken sandwich again, it was that good!! read more

This was my first time eating at CAVA and I had the best experience ever. They were very attentive asked me what I might like. They also gave me a free cucumber drink, which was phenomenal. I also love their pita chips. I would have to get a large one next time. The manager was so gracious and kind. The service here is terrible. 30 minute wait at 2:20 in the afternoon? You'd figure the lunch rush would be over but with no help on the front lines, it makes sense. There was no sense of urgency amongst any of the workers and the people that would stand in the "back" of the front line area (I.e. older black lady), it would've been nice if she hopped in on the last stage of the line so the cashier could focus on getting people out the door. Instead she stood there for at least 5 minutes rubbing her hands together. Not a good display of teamwork especially when you can visually notice the line is out the door. Meanwhile because the cashier was backed up, the food was meh, but since I paid for it, I'm gone eat it. Take my advice and avoid this location until the customer service improves or the staff has and understanding that the business professionals amongst everyone else, do not want to stand in line for 30 minutes for food that has subpar taste. P.S. - you can't even blame the management because I'm sure they've already trained on how to jump in when necessary and it's pretty human nature to just help out your teammates when you can but I'd hope that management would consult their staff about teamwork, urgency, and the importance cross training. read more

This review is for the service. Food is good, but good luck having an online order made on time. Factor in AT LEAST a 30+ minute wait time while waiting on your order that you placed ahead of time. Staff seems overwhelmed. Online ordering system shouldn't offer a time frame to place an order ahead if they aren't prepared to have it make on time. I placed an order to be picked up at noon. It's 12:30 and still waiting. Management seriously needs to reconsider their online ordering/pickup process, hire more employees...something. I'm a big fan of Cava generally and have eaten at a lot of their locations, but feel the need to leave this review for this location specifically as this location is always out of a significant amount of food items and staple/core dips for selection well before closing. I generally have an understanding that if you come in towards the end of the day a few items may be running low or out, but at this location it is a gamble for what items they will have available even when you come in hours before close. As of the day of writing this post they were out of all but 1 dip and over 2/3rds of their toppings. Either whoever orders their bulk ingredients consistently underestimates how much is needed and the store runs out daily or the staff make no effort to refill anything from supplies in the back. I understand not wanting to use/potentially waste fresh avocados 15 minutes before closing for example, but being out of tzatziki dip every single day past 3 pm is an annoying and preventable issue. They quite literally sell cava brand Tzatziki dip at the Whole Foods next door, whoever is the manager of this location just needs to go buy an extra tub or two to keep in the fridge. Hopefully next time I come in (if I go to this location again) I'm able to get more than just rice lettuce and chicken when I order a $15 bowl. read more

First time at Cava and didn't know how everything worked. The gentleman with the yellow bandana was informative and quick. Went with the bowl and got the two types of chicken. A lot of salads, drinks and sauces to choose from. Clean bathroom and restaurant. Plenty of parking. It looks closed when you're looking from the outside, but the windows have a tint film.
