Decent Mediterranean spot in the Harvest Food Hall connected to Hotel VIN in Grapevine. We shared a gyro but I didn't get a photo of it.

Harvest hall is a beautiful building with many food vendors inside. Zatar, being one of them. That being said it is always difficult to assess service in food halls, so I won't judge them from that perspective The sides we ordered were the Zatar Fries which should just be called regular fries because that's what they taste like and they were floppy, like all fries from Mediterranean restaurant are. I've not had many spanakopita in my life but this was not the best. Dipped into the Toum dip made eveything better though. The gyro wrap was solid. The meat and sauce were flavorful and the wrap was fresh. The chicken shawarma was very good, well seasoned, and the wrap was actually better than the gyro pita. However, I don't believe dill pickles belong in any Mediterranean food, but that's just my opinion, so I took those out myself. Overall, this is some decent Mediterranean food and I can confidently say I will be back to harvest hall to try some more of the vendors and maybe snag a chicken shawarma for the road!

Really tasty Mediterranean experience in Harvest Hall. The lamb was "kabobbed" well. The rice is tasty too! This is basically a quick serve food court restaurant, where they take your order and you receive a text message to pick up your order. Easy peasy. Overall a nice and easy experience. If you want some fast Mediterranean this place is for you!

    Must try lamb wrap!

Great customer services and delicious food! The lamb wrap was so tasty and it wasn't gamey at all! Definitely will be back soon!

Food was very tasty and flavorful. Walk up counter to order and they text you when food is ready. Counter service was good and very helpful on menu selection. Food was good portion and packed well. I will be back for sure!

We ordered a chicken kabob wrap. It was very delicious and the server was very accommodating with our questions. For dessert we got a walnut baklava. It was delectable. The overall atmosphere of Harvest Hall enjoyable. We would come again!

This was the most disappointing Mediterranean wrap I've ever had. Here's why: I ordered the chicken wrap and it had turnips and pickles in it as the veggies. Red flag number one. The wrap itself was an actual tortilla instead of pita bread. Red flag number two. The chicken wasn't too bad but the more I ate, the less I liked it. It was thin cut and pretty oily. If you're a fan of Halal Guys, you won't want to try this. I regret spending $13 on a meal I couldn't even get through. Granted, the plates were probably better than the wraps, but the wrap was horrible enough to keep me from trying anything else from here.

Eaten here maybe 2 dozen times. A bit surprising to be in a food court, but it's some of the best Mediterranean food in the area.

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

They have some tea and coffee options to end your meal. The desserts consist of baklava or rice pudding etc Now coming to what doesn't work. The hygiene is a huge concern. I saw a guest put their bare hands in the pita basket, pick a pita and then put it back in the basket with others. The buffet area is not commonly cleaned with food bits everywhere. Some customers were touching things and cross contaminating the main dishes. I know it's not the same with the Plano location so I hope manager of this location pays attention to their patrons and ensure basic hygiene standards are followed. I was overwhelming grossed out from it and don't think will ever be back to this location. Ambiance is loud as well with kids screaming and running all around the restaurant, so overall it's a pass for me.

The biggest issue was that everything was very salty -- to the point where it was hard to finish the meal. I had the street gyro (lamb and beef), and while the texture was fine, the seasoning overwhelmed the dish. My child ordered the "Sneaky Taziki," which ended up being a dried-out chicken breast with cheese in a tortilla, and he barely touched it. Overall, this feels like a place designed for a more generic take on Greek/Mediterranean food rather than something truly authentic or memorable. There's nothing outright bad about it, but nothing really stands out either. It's fine, just not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again. 3 Stars, right down the middle.

The falafel was ok, I would not order it again. The presentation was nice, but lacked flavor and zest. The only thing with flavor was the harissa chicken. It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.
