So maaaybe it's a little pricey compared to my favorite Mediterranean spots in Arlington, but that's to be expected considering the setting. I think Zatar is really delicious -- my restaurant of choice in Harvest Hall! Their hummus always tastes super fresh and creamy and their chicken shawarma is really well seasoned and not too dry. Harvest hall is a beautiful building with many food vendors inside. Zatar, being one of them. That being said it is always difficult to assess service in food halls, so I won't judge them from that perspective The sides we ordered were the Zatar Fries which should just be called regular fries because that's what they taste like and they were floppy, like all fries from Mediterranean restaurant are. I've not had many spanakopita in my life but this was not the best. Dipped into the Toum dip made eveything better though. The gyro wrap was solid. The meat and sauce were flavorful and the wrap was fresh. The chicken shawarma was very good, well seasoned, and the wrap was actually better than the gyro pita. However, I don't believe dill pickles belong in any Mediterranean food, but that's just my opinion, so I took those out myself. Overall, this is some decent Mediterranean food and I can confidently say I will be back to harvest hall to try some more of the vendors and maybe snag a chicken shawarma for the road! read more

This restaurant is simply a counter in the food hall in Grapevine. So, what can you expect? Having tried several restaurants in this food hall, I can say without a doubt that it is worth searching and going to the very back of the hall to the left to find Zatar. In a better location in the hall, I have a feeling they would be packed. The food was really good for this type of location. We all shared a couple of Chicken Shawarma plates. Chicken was well prepared and enough served, but it was the overall taste of the other items on the plate that stood out. I would have accepted this food at a sit-down restaurant with a server. We also had an order of hummus which was good, but not any better than the packaged hummus you can get in supermarkets. The spanakopita was quite good as well, but a very small serving for the $7.00 price. We find our family at events in Grapevine with our grandchildren a few times a year and at the end of a busy morning, the food hall is a good selection. From now on, I will not go to any of the other restaurants in the hall because I believe this one is the best. It is just counter service and the hummus was okay, and the prices pretty high for counter service, so I rate it a 3, though if more choices it would be a 3.5. read more

A little disappointed. Went during Lunch time on a Sunday and the gyro (lamb) meat was surprisingly dry and they did not put on enough tzatziki sauce. The Z fries were good but went cold very quickly. Customer service was very good. It's a food court that can be very loud at times. This is TX so sitting outside is not always conducive when you have 2 young kids. read more

I'm highly confused by some of the negative reviews here. It's not the greatest place in the world, but it's also not a dump. Perhaps these people got extremely unlucky, but otherwise, I can only speak upon my experience. I ordered a Mediterranean salad, and added lamb kebab meat. It was 18 dollars and could have been cheaper, but I guess post pandemic, supply chain issues, and inflation all have an effect on the price. The salad itself has a generous variety of ingredients. Nothing felt too much or over powering. The lamb had a good gamey taste, with some moisture and a springy chew to it's texture. Portion wise it was decent. My thoughts on harvest hall are that it's an underwhelming experience meant more for convenience to locales as opposed to offering anything that's special. Considering I had extremely low expectations, this was a pleasant surprise. read more

This was the most disappointing Mediterranean wrap I've ever had. Here's why: I ordered the chicken wrap and it had turnips and pickles in it as the veggies. Red flag number one. The wrap itself was an actual tortilla instead of pita bread. Red flag number two. The chicken wasn't too bad but the more I ate, the less I liked it. It was thin cut and pretty oily. If you're a fan of Halal Guys, you won't want to try this. I regret spending $13 on a meal I couldn't even get through. Granted, the plates were probably better than the wraps, but the wrap was horrible enough to keep me from trying anything else from here. read more

Eaten here maybe 2 dozen times. A bit surprising to be in a food court, but it's some of the best Mediterranean food in the area.

Just started working in Grapevine and was looking for places to eat before/after work-- was pleasantly surprised to find a mediterranean place in the area since it's a very "white" neighborhood. The building it's in is absolutely gorgeous, which makes for lovely dining atmosphere from the get-go. My first time eating there, I ordered just the kunafa (spelled knaffeh on their menu I believe) since I'm a sucker for the delicious Palestinian dessert. They definitely did not let me down! It was perfectly sweet and cheesy as all good kunafa is. The employees were very friendly and made pleasant conversation while they prepared my order as it was early in the day and quite slow. I came back again a week or so later after a long shift and was pleasantly surprised to find that they recognized me after just one visit. They spared the time to ask how I was doing and what I'd been up to while I ordered despite it being fairly busy. My order (gyro wrap and, again, kunafa) came out fairly quickly for how busy it was-- the entire building was packed as it was around dinner time. Seating was hard to find, so it was actually fortuitous that it took a bit for the order to come out as I had time to camp out a family leaving their table to score myself a nice seat. The gyro wrap was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture of it before I devoured the whole thing. The vegetable mix inside was lovely (minus the pickles, which I pulled out, but I am a proud pickle hater, so do with that information what you will), the ratio of veggies to meat was satisfyingly balanced, and the sauce was light but flavorful. The pita bread was nice and soft and overflowing with the contents, which I do respect. I did manage to stop inhaling my meal long enough to grab a photo of the kunafa. Again, it was blissfully sweet, nice and cheesy, wonderfully warm and perfectly nutty on top thanks to the pistachios. I think there may have been a touch too much honey/rosewater this time around as it was a bit drippy, but that's no problem in my book-- the sweeter the better! I also got their lemonade (I forget the name) and it was quite fruity and refreshing. They also have some very funny merchandise with puns in Arabic (pictured: Mariam [Mary] had a little ل [Arabic letter "lam"]-- get it? ) and shirts with greetings in Arabic, which I definitely plan on going back to get another time. Delicious gyro and z fries! I really, really loved the spicy pickle slivers in the gyro and the garlic aioli to dip the fries in was phenomenal!! The lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the pita was soft but not chewy. My only complaint was that it was a long wait and the gentleman running the counter could have been a little more informative. Would definitely go back! read more

My husband and I came to eat here for date night. The food was so delicious and perfectly prepared. Their pickled veggies are incredible. I got the chicken shawarma wrap which came with a tortilla. I didn't mind the tortilla since traditional shawarma wraps are heavier and thicker. The sizing and portions were perfect! My husband got the gyro wrap and it came with the traditional wrap and the bread was so fluffy and fresh. The gyro meat was delicious! We also got baklava and their pineberry eclipse lemonade which were both perfection. This place is nine minutes from my house. I'm so thrilled to have delicious Mediterranean near me and at such a cool swanky location in grapevine. Staff was nice and everything was clean. read more

By far, this is the worst Mediterranean joint I've been too in my life. Hummus tastes like it's out of a can, falafel is just bad but not nasty . Now the shawarma, I swear to God it tastes like a beef sausage roll that was microwaved. They even have the audacity to have a picture of the chef-owner and a story how he was influenced from the street food of NY.
