I was very impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The mutton thali was excellent. Will definitely come back again.

Food was excellent and their bakery items look amazing. I have no doubt they are as delicious as my lunch was.

Curry is a bit heavy but pairs well with their Naan. Honestly, the best thing here is their naan. Update: the chicken biriyani is pretty good! Drinks (2/5): Shocked by the quality based on their regular price. The Velvet Karma was okay (tasted like watery Bailey's with cinnamon). The Karma Sutra was mostly cough syrup, almost no liquor tasted in either. Both $15 each. Service (2/5): The waitresses are all hardworking but they seem super short-staffed. The whole place was packed but they're too busy to be out in the front. It took forever for food and drinks to come out also, despite it hasn't been packed yet. Took 15 min for the cocktail to be out and was watery... Ambiance (3/5): The live music at 7pm didn't start until 7:20. We came earlier and waited for it to start. Super disappointed and wanted to like this place. We can't see ourselves back unless these changes. It just seems stingey as a business to lack liquor in cocktails this price. The staff and manager were all nice, it's just not well run unfortunately.

The service was excellent. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the spices used were not our personal favorite, but they were still good. The meat was tender. I could have an entire bowl of just dhal. So delicious. Parking is available on street or in back of restaurant.

It's not easy to get a five-star from me. I'm jaded…read more The food here is authentic. Every bite was delicious. We had vegetarian dishes, malai kofta and mutter paneer, and they were genuinely surprisingly fabulous. They were cooked freshly, not from a pre-made pot. There are ways you can tell if it's really fresh. There are a lot of selections, and they're about 10%+ higher than the small university town we live in, and worth every darn dime. I'm seldom completely delighted, and the food here was great. The restaurant wasn't crowded on Wednesday-- and they should be. The cook is priceless. Give him/her/they a raise! I wish this wasn't my first time, or I'd recommend it without hesitation-- it was really, really good, and I'm a harsh critic. This was for dinner, and we have no experience with the buffet.

It was delicious, with good flavors without being too spicy. In fact the soup was so good that I decided to order their samosa as appetizer. The samosa's were also excellent, so many good flavors. It was served with a chutney sauce and another type of sauce. As the main entree I wanted to try something different than the typical Indian dishes that are the most common in the USA I ordered a vegetarian dish called Navratan Koorma. It's a mix of different vegetables in a creamy cashew sauce with rice and Naan bread. It was good and flavorful. The naan was bread was amazing, I've been to a few other restaurants in the area that have really unflavorful bread so this was nice. I was pretty full at the moment but felt like trying one dessert to have tried something from all parts of their menu and ordered Gulab Jamoon. An old classic, it was very good as well. It was slightly warm and freshly made and was a perfect end to the meal. The service was excellent throughout, the server gave me updates when one of the dishes were close to being ready. I thought the presentation was also very nice. I will definitely keep this restaurance in place next time I'm in the area.

Ordered a hefty first meal for takeout. Everything exceeded our expectations!…read more Mixed veg pakora (didn't care for the tamarind sauce, the mint one was really refreshing - wish they offered more sauce with the portion of pakora given but still yummy) Butter chicken - medium spice - rice (accurate spice level with nice heat, definitely tempted to go a step up but know I'll be chugging water) Butter chicken - mild spice - rice (awesome, picky eater boyfriend had no complaints) Palak paneer (the spinach base wasn't my cup of tea compared to another place but it was still delicious) Extra regular naan (boyfriend inhaled, I definitely enjoyed) Mango lassi (YUM, best one yet!) Service: I didn't eat there but the food was immediately ready for grab. Guy was super nice handing and confirmed everything in the order. We were about to walk out and he stopped us to give some straws. Also, if you order take out, they pack every item NICELY! The drink was entirely wrapped in plastic and secure with lid shut shut. Ambiance: it's more of a fast casual eat and go - definitely family based and nothing crazy inside - does the job and with comfort. I do takeout mostly anyways but it gave me nostalgic vibes of other mom and pop shops with middle eastern and Asian cuisine shops. Don't let the interior deter you, it's a really good joint. I wish I took pictures but if you look at others its *muah* Love that it's accessible and will for sure go back again. Edit: the pricing is worth what you get! :)

Two types of lassis, regular sweet and mango, and a masala chai to finish off the meal. The place is clean, the food is hot and proper temperature, and I can get my Indian food fix while my kids enjoy pizza and pasta. There is usually a short wait on the weekends, and when you get seated, they take your drink orders, and you can get in the buffet line. The food is solid - saag paneer, paneer and chicken tikka masala, veg Manchurian, chaat stations, curries, samosas, a few cakes and halwas for dessert. Adult buffet is $25/person - not a bad deal!

However, Saturday night our usual place was unexpectedly closed, so we tried India 101. Why had we deprived ourselves for so long!? We were so pleased with our dining experience and with the variety and quality of the food. We walked in, were quickly greeted, led to a table, and were provided ice water. The hostess told us we could grab plates and utensils and enjoy the buffet at our own pace. We're vegetarian and found many dishes to eat: palak/saag paneer, paneer tika masala, pakoras, veg biryani, veg Manchurian, naan, roti, pani puri, samosas, mango lassi, a soda fountain, raita, and on and on and on. Your dirty dishes are quickly taken away by efficient staff, so grab a fresh plate when you return (and you WILL return) to the buffet. The establishment is clean, the music isn't too loud, and the buffet never felt too crowded or rushed. We were so pleased and look forward to returning. Adult Buffet is $25/person - well worth the cost. The ambiance is casual and there were singles, couples, families, and groups of friends dining. You'll feel comfortable if you go alone or with others. Enjoy!
