There are ways you can tell if it's really fresh. There are a lot of selections, and they're about 10%+ higher than the small university town we live in, and worth every darn dime. I'm seldom completely delighted, and the food here was great. The restaurant wasn't crowded on Wednesday-- and they should be. The cook is priceless. Give him/her/they a raise! I was pretty full at the moment but felt like trying one dessert to have tried something from all parts of their menu and ordered Gulab Jamoon. An old classic, it was very good as well. What differentiates this item from other places is that the goat has more meat than bones. I had curry goat in other Indian restaurants. The pieces were so bony that there was barely any meat. I also like their naan, which is really fresh and aromatic. I would eat three or four pieces before I stop. One other thing I like is their complimentary chai tea. It is creamy and spicy. What a nice way to wrap up your meal. The service is fine. The waiters are very friendly and attentive - much better than other Asian restaurants.
