I'd been craving pastitsio (Greek lasagna) and moussaka for a while, and after searching around, I…read morefinally found a few places that served them -- Al Wadi being one of them. It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.

From the moment we walked in, we loved the ambiance. The vibe was welcoming, the music was great, and we had so much fun playing pool, especially at just $1 per game, which is a rare find these days. The food absolutely impressed us. We ordered two appetizers (Valentino fries and poppers) along with two pizzas (Margherita and Valentino). While everything came out hot, fresh, and full of authentic Italian flavor, the pizzas were definitely our favorite. You could truly taste the quality in every bite. We were also pleasantly surprised by the pricing, especially considering the high quality of both the food and drinks. The happy hour was fantastic, and our drinks were phenomenal, so smooth and well-balanced that we jokingly called them "dangerous" because you could hardly taste the alcohol. However, the highlight of our night was our bartender/server, Sandy. As two of the three of us work in the service industry, we tend to notice exceptional service and Sandy exceeded every expectation. She was attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She crafted our amazing drinks, helped us confidently choose our food and beverages, and maintained excellent communication throughout our entire visit. She created an experience that felt personal and memorable. With so many dining options in the DFW area, it says a lot that we'll absolutely be returning and a big reason why is Sandy's outstanding service. We highly recommend Valentino's and, without a doubt, Sandy. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

If you want great pizza with exceptional flavor and amazing service, this is the place! We had a last-minute large takeout order, and the owner went above and beyond to make sure our volunteers were fed in time for competition day. The chicken tikka pizza was incredible -- full of flavor with just the right kick -- and he even surprised us with a special "Diablo Ranch" pizza that was a hit with all the ranch lovers in our group. Everyone loved the carnivore or course, gotta have your staple! Even the salads were fresh, crisp, and surprisingly delicious -- you can tell they use quality ingredients across the board. Also they have a catering menu that we did not realize they have and they are willing to deliver up to 50 miles out! Which is amazing so if you guys want to spice up your pizza game this is where it is at! This spot nails both the food and the hospitality, Valentino's truly delivered. We'll be back next year!

The Supreme Sub on white is stacked with tender, flavorful Halal meats, crisp veggies, and fresh bread -- all sliced and prepared only after you order, so every bite tastes unbelievably fresh. This isn't fast food; it's quality, crafted comfort. The Turkey Club easily earns second place on my list, and the fries? Perfectly golden, kissed with salt and pepper, and downright addictive. The shop itself is small and quiet, with owners who are warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating -- the kind of place that makes you feel like family. And don't miss their sister spot, Big Guys Chicken & Rice. From hearty platters to flavorful wraps, every dish is another winner. If you're craving food that's fresh, satisfying, and made with care, Big Guys is where you need to be.

Chicken sandwich Chicken Caesar wrap 3 orders of fries and some sauces. With a 10% tip the total was $58.75. My boyfriend loved the chop cheese 5/5 I was not a fan of the chicken Caesar wrap because the texture of the chicken is off. It was tough and chewy and made me lose my appetite completely. Aside from that aspect the actual taste of the Caesar salad was good. 3/5 My daughter had the same issue with the chicken sandwich, she wasn't a fan because of that. The fries are basic, some were crunchy with a soft inside and some were very hard. 2/5 I am not sure we will return as the food is basic for an expensive price. I would suggest they at least offer some type of combo option to include a side and drink.
