Three things help it stand out from the crowd: (1) The cheese - chewy and gooey, it refuses to play backup to the toppings, taking a leading role in this production. (2) The sauce, with chunks of tomato and plenty of Italian herbs, also competes for the spotlight. (3) The crust - thick, buttery and crunchy - provides the perfect stage for the cheese, sauce and toppings to do their thing. Why had I never had Jet's before a few months ago? Maybe they didn't offer a gluten free crust until recently and that's why it never showed up in my searches for gluten free pizza... Doesn't matter, does it? I'm happy they have it now. Soooo Jon and I have been ordering pizza from Jet's more often than we probably should be. But it's just so good. Like reaaally good. The gluten free crust is consistently delicious. It's thin and crispy and not soggy at all, which can be hard to accomplish with a gf dough. I don't get too adventurous with my toppings, I mostly stick with a "build your own" pie with pepperoni, jalapeno, and mushrooms. Jet's doesn't skimp on toppings! Jon will usually get something like the "buffalo chicken ranch." Besides the gluten free crust, they also have Detroit style deep dish, 4 corner, thin crust, hand tossed round, and a cauliflower crust. Prices are average for pizza, but I think the quality is above average. If we don't eat all our food in one sitting, we'll have leftovers we actually look forward to eating the next day. General manager Frank cancelled my order (Detroit style party tray Hawaiian 24pc) due to a conflict of him not wanting to allow me to speak with the owner or his manager as well as not agreeing that his employees actions are his problems. He tried to tell me what I "SHOULD" write in my review. I've been eating from jets pizza at least once to twice a month since the duration of my pregnancy. I'm currently 33wks. I've never been charged for banana peppers before and I was being told i would be up charged and I asked why and since when. Not that the $2 made a difference but the consistency is what matters to me. He then dismissed my concern and complained to me that he was disappointed that his employees gave away free product. Never again will I be eat or ordering from this jets location unless the owner or store manager want to contact me to correct Frank's rudeness and dismissal. I was watching some Korean reaction videos to different kinds of pizza (NY style, Chicago, and Detroit) when I first learned about Detroit pizza! I've been to NYC and Chicago and had their respective pizzas there; watching the Koreans in the video wig out over the Detroit pizza made me jealous... and hungry! I Googled Detroit pizza and found this place. You get 20% if you text your order, however I found it to be glitchy and had to do it 3x. I got an 8 corner pizza, which is akin to two mediums (ie., it was a lot of food!). It was deep, crispy, and perfect if you love crust. Even the packets of cheese and sauce were more premium than your standard 'Hut. The kids and I loved it and were able to eat off it for days. I'll probably get a 4 corner pizza again in the future, not the 8 corner so I'm not stuck eating it for days (my husband doesn't eat American food). I wish there was a way that one of the 4 corners could have separate toppings because its more like 2 different pizzas, but that limitation may have been due to the texting system. read more

I'm a pretty hard person to disappoint with pizza. As such, I usually just ordered from a major chain. Easy with their apps and there's always one nearby. Yeah, that was until a friend suggested we try Jet's. Detroit-style pizza is one of my absolute favorite types of pizza to begin with and as soon as I heard Jet's specializes in that, I had to give it a try. Their menu is extensive and we've yet to get a pizza we didn't care for. My personal favorite is the spicy Hawaiian with ham, pineapple and jalapenos on it. Mix that with the thick Detroit style crust, all that sauce and cheese and you have a winner. We're also big fans of their pepperoni. The cheesy bread is also a hit if you're really hungry. We've always ordered delivery and never have had any problems with our order. It is always accurate and delivered promptly. Give it a try! read more

However, their BBQ Chicken pizza is to die for with some of their ranch on top. I don't know how I lived without Jet's Pizza after I moved away from one 7 years ago. I didn't even know there was one in delivery distance to my current house. But now that I know, I'll never look back. We've been going back and forth between two big chain pizza places and that's fine, but the ingredients are NOTHING like Jet's and I cannot tell you how much more pleasant the staff and drivers are. They act like they care and I've never had a wrong order. The cheese tastes better, the sauce tastes fresher, the dough is softer and crispier at the same time. But... and this is going to sound ridiculous, the best thing is their ranch. I am not lying!! I've never had ranch that good at a pizza place. Most chain pizza places are looking for ranch packets or cups, but if you order a bottle of Jet's Ranch... you'll understand. It's about as legit as it gets. I've even been inspired to buy salad. Great pizza and customer service. We went in 10 mins to closing but staff was more than happy to make us a fresh Detroit style pizza. The reason we showed up last was because my wife and I were going to have pizza for dinner earlier that night, the pizza we had earlier sucked. I was determined to find a good pizza before the night was over. We never had Jets pizza but the photos of their pizza looked great so I rushed over to the restaurant and made it a few mins before closing. My wife and I waited while the pizza was made. One of several Detroit Style pizza places to open in the DFW area, and the first one I've tried that wasn't Little Caesar's. I had some difficulty navigating the online menu. There appeared to be Small, Medium, Large, 4 corner, 8 corner, Extra Large, etc. Detroit style is square and as with Little Caesar's, 8 corner means you'd get two smaller pizzas so you get the yummy cheese baked crust on every piece (and 4 corner would be just one of those). However, apparently Detroit style is available in Small and Large sizes as well, and I could find no explanation as to the size differences, though putting each in my cart, confirmed there were price differences. I settled on getting 2 of the 8 corner pizzas, one BBQ Chicken, and one custom with their Bold Pepperoni. I also got their triple cheese deep dish cheese bread and a cookie dessert. The website pointed us to this location and said we were 3.2 miles away, in an apartment complex. Delivery should have been a no brainer. But when using the text-to-order system (which offers 20% off, likely because they don't have to pay a third party), it insisted that our address was outside the delivery area. They were on Uber Eats, but not only was that full price, they didn't list BBQ Chicken as an option. So I gave in and ordered for pickup. The text system said to put your whole order in a single message, so I sent it with line breaks between each item, but it resulted in a single BBQ chicken pizza with pepperoni added on. Then I wasn't sure how to tell it "no, let's try again." Adding a quantity to each item, and a comma between items seemed to work fine the second time. It texted me a custom link to complete payment and texted when it would be ready (20min.) The pizzas were great quality and flavor. Good crust, good crispy edge. The cheese bread was good, but not as addicting as Little Caesar's Italian Cheese Bread. The cookie was good, but similar, if not the same to what you'd get from Pizza Hut in the little metal tin. Overall, a winner. Will order again! read more
