I have been coming here for a about one year, and have since become a regular! My parents are elderly, where it is difficult for them to cook from home -- Jonuzi's has become among their favorite places for convenient food choices. They prepare all food fresh; they do not pre-prepare anything prior to actual orders. The restaurant is spotless clean ... you can practically eat off the kitchen floors! The owners are warm and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend. read more

I searched Yelp, like I usually do, and found Jonuzi's Pizza on Basswood in Ft. Worth. Evidently it's a new location. I have to say our large thin crust Margarita pizza was excellent! The crust was just a little bit soggy but not enough to make it an issue. The young man behind the counter was very polite and provided me with plates, napkins and plastic ware. There is very little seating but it's clean and the seats were comfortable. My only suggestion would be to cut the pieces smaller. If you haven't experienced Jonuzi's Pizza yet, it's time you do! This is the 3rd time I have ordered pizza from here. My first pizza was delicious. Second time I tried a different pizza it was okay. I ended up throwing most of the pizza away. In other words I only had one slice. I ordered another pizza today and the center of my pizza is raw dough. I called the merchant and they blamed me for the raw pizza because I ordered extra on my pizza. read more

Tried this place for the first time because we live right down the road. We got a Hawaiian pizza and the antipasto salad. While everything tasted good - about 24 hours later my husband and I both had food poisoning, and we still do. Sadly I don't think we'll be returning. While I understand that food poisoning is difficult to trace, eating at Jonuzi's was the only difference between who did and didn't get sick in our household. read more

Last night tried the meat lovers pizza. We ordered a small which was more than enough for 2 even had leftovers. The amount of toppings they add is great! Definitely worth the $. Plenty of cheese and meat. Definitely will be back to try their other specialty flavors. The pizza is amazing , the staff is fantastic, and the menu is so reasonably priced. The staff goes above and beyond and the owner is present and attentive. This little family run business is a gem in town and we're so glad we tried it and supported them. We did take away tonight and tried their Pizza Al Pesto, Meat Lovers Pizza, mozzarella cheese sticks, garlic cheese bread, chicken tenders and fries as well as 3 dessert cannolis. The Pizza Al Pesto was amazing, fantastic flavor and we'll likely get that one every visit. The Meat Lovers was packed with ingredients, no skimping there; and it was quite tasty with just the slightest hint of spice. The garlic cheese bread had good flavor although it lost any crunch during transport home. The mozzarella sticks were good and able to be re-warmed in the air fryer at home to crisp/heat them up without losing all the cheese inside. A plus in my book! The chicken and fries were the perfect thing for the kiddo in our home who isn't a pizza fan. He gasped when he saw we got him French Fries. He was one happy boy. The dessert cannolis - YUM, Get Them! They're delicious and not too sweet. Everyone in our household was impressed with them. TIP: Lastly, a little tip for those doing take out. When you get home take a piece of pizza and put it on the stove in a (dry) skillet over medium heat for about 4 minutes. That'll heat your pizza and crispy the crust just a bit for some crunchy texture - it was perfect that way! Go give Jonuzi's some business, we will again soon! read more

Growing up in RI and now living in Texas, I've been searching for good pizza. Tony's and Joes in watauga, and my New York pizza in Keller have been the closest I can find to real back home New England (New York) style pizza. Let me tell you, after trying Jonuzi's tonight, they're my new #1. Cheese pizza was simple yet phenomenal with no flop and a solid crust. Eggplant parm sub, a personal favorite growing up in RI surrounded by Italians, was also top notch and reminded me of home. Wonderful pizza that transported me back to the Mom and Pop shops of Leonardo NJ. Their pizza has a light tasty crust that allows the main ingredients to shine. Our personal favorite is the white gourmet Verde, though we're opening the football season with a white gourmet Tuscany (+ broccoli...who knew?) tonight. Welcoming atmosphere and staff. The first time we came we stopped in for lunch and were blown away. The pizza was incredible - perfectly crisp crust, a great balance of flavors, and the hot honey pepperoni was just amazing. The mini cannoli are sweet and perfectly creamy without being overpowering. You can really tell how much care goes into everything here and the pride the owner takes in his work. Everything is always made fresh right then, never anything premade or stuffed away in coolers, including the salads! The owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and the conversation alone made the visit special. The space is clean and comfortable, and I never order ahead. I like taking a few minutes to chat with Ron while the pizza cooks if he's not busy and if he is the wait is comfortable enough. It's rare to find a place this genuine and welcoming anymore, and we feel lucky to have Jonuzi's right around the corner. We'll definitely be back often! read more

Food was good. Pizza that was closest to NJ was the plain pie. Despite having a few tables they strike me as pick-up & delivery primarily. Not like a typical pizza parlor in NJ as you can't order by the slice. No Sicilian option. The most interesting part of the experience was the fact that the gourmet pizzas we ordered came out long before the basic plain or pepperoni pie. read more
