My friend ordered the super food bowl and was surprised when it came to the table missing a few things listed in the description and additions of other ingredients. The concern was that this was not told to her when ordering, what if that would've changed her order, what if she were allergic to one of the new ingredients??? Also, as I said, it was not busy, but we felt like we were being urged to leave after we were done eating. I could totally understand if there were people waiting, but that was far from the case, as there were several open tables. This place is amazing! The food options are very fresh and unique! I had what was called Traditional Eggs Benedict, and was absolutely the best eggs Benedict I had ever had. The eggs were probably poached to perfection, land the Hollandaise had a hint of lemon flavor which I loved. It was served over a ciabatta bun, with thin shaved ham and sliced tomato, served with a side of greens. My girl and I were in town for a wedding and stopped by, had heard good things about the place and I was not let down. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. We did not have to wait long for our food and they made sure I cups stayed full. I ate here for the first time with high expectations. The atmosphere was lively and peaceful despite a large amount of people. Our waitress was very nice and gave us some great recommendations from the menu. I ended up getting lemon ricotta pancakes and a blueberry pancake. The blueberry pancake was dry and somewhat flavorless despite drowning them in syrup, definitely not a great pancake. The lemon ricotta pancakes were much fluffier and sweet, the fresh strawberries and lemon curd were perfect accompaniments to the delicious pancakes. Great food! My usual breakfast spot is Egg Harbor but their wait was too long so I looked up other breakfast spots and found that a new First Watch opened up by me. The wait was about 30-45 on a Sunday at 11 am which is pretty standard for brunch spots on the weekend. We we're in a little bit of a rush so when we found out their was a community table we jumped right in. The community table seats about 10-12 as soon as you enter. They also offer complimentary coffee and water as you wait for your table. Even though they were busy our server (I believe her name was Kim) greeted us with a smile and got to us in a timely fashion. I ordered the Farmhouse Skillet Hash and the lady had the BLT Eggs Benedict. My dish was freaking awesome. It also came with a toast and fresh fruit. The bacon was good and fat flavor full when hot, although I think they put the bacon straight from the griddle to the plate as there was a thick grease under them as they began to cool. They should have pressed the grease out in a kitchen towel like traditional places. The eggs were over medium, so the yolks were good and runny, but the white was runny too. I love First Watch. My boyfriend and I always went to the location in Johns Creek but since we live closer to Buford were we excited to hear they were having an opening in that location. I still would go to Johns creek for the airy, crisp, and fluffy waffle but still enjoyed eating it since I was hungry. I think it just other people's perspective too bc some can be picky of how they want their food some will just eat it. I'm picky. xD The service today was just the problem... It wasn't even busy, total of 3 tables (counting us) and 6 employees. The hostess sat us down, told us our waiter/waitress will be with us shortly and we waited a for 25 minutes. We also got served by 2 different servers, the 1st was really sweet but just took our order and the 2nd waitress just took care of the rest; served us our drinks and food, gave us extra napkins, came by to check on us, and even gave us the check. We even saw some of the employees sitting in the pick up lounge on their phones. I don't know if their hostess or waitress but it would be nice not to wait for 25 minutes for drinks and order. It was lightly sweet and it tasted great. I could just have that and be happy. I just had bariatric surgery so I have to be very careful with what I eat. I asked if I could just have one scrambled egg and a piece of chicken sausage. She said sure and made it happen! The egg was hot and had chives sprinkled over them. So good! The chicken sausage was THE BOMB! It isn't made in house. The owner said he thinks they order it from Perdue but it is damn delicious! My coworker got a turkey scramble that was supposed to be in a burrito. But she asked for it to just be in a bowl and they were very accommodating. I didn't get to try it but she loved it!
