I wanted a nice steak for my birthday dinner and had been eyeing Seasons52 for a while and my lady granted my wish. My birthday is Christmas week and I typically don't go out as I simply would rather not have to deal with the anticipated crowds. It was indeed crowded (on a Tuesday!) but my experience is one I'll never forget. She had made reservations and so to save a bit of time, we did valet parking. And from the friendliness of the valet, to the near immediate greeting and seating upon arrival, Seasons52 truly made my birthday special. I honestly can't give enough kind words for our server Tori - she was a genuine treat! Professional, attentive, kind ... just a beautiful soul. Please acknowledge Tori for the kind human being that she is and the wonderful service she provides. And my steak - the 8 oz. filet - oh my! Easily one of the best I've ever had! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I savored every bite! Even the young guy at valet parking (wish I had gotten his name) was attentive and pleasant. I left them both nice, FAT tips with the hope that I made there day just as much as they made mine. They were even intentional about thanking us for our visit as we were leaving. I had a pretty disappointing experience here, especially considering the price point. I ordered one of the more expensive items on the menu (steak and lobster), and unfortunately found a hair in my food, which completely ruined the moment. To their credit, the staff did apologize and replaced the meal, and also offered a Caesar salad. However, the salad itself was not good and didn't really make up for the situation. The replacement entrée was fine--it tasted good--but by that point the experience was already affected. For a place like this, you expect a higher level of quality control and attention to detail. While they did try to fix the issue, finding something like that in your food is hard to overlook. Overall, just not the experience I expected for the price. This is the third location I have tried and found each to be excellent! We went for a late lunch and found them to be a bit short staffed but the manager and servers attended to our table with pleasant attitudes. Once drinks were served aNd orders taken our meals were served hot and delicious. I enjoyed crab cake with had a light sweetness and a hint of pepper. (*THIS IS THE FIRST REVIEW I'VE EVER POSTED, PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION*) I've been coming to Seasons 52 for over 5 years to celebrate special occasions - Valentine's Day, birthdays, anniversaries - and it has always been a reliable, enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, my 25th birthday dinner here was anything but. Our server, Eric, was professional but lacked any warmth or friendliness. No smile, no welcoming presence, just very cold service from the start. The bigger issue came with my meal. I ordered my steak medium, but when it arrived, it was well done and extremely tough. Normally, a server checks back so you can cut into the steak and confirm it's cooked properly, but that didn't happen. I tried to push through it, not wanting to send food back on my birthday, but after 3 bites, I had to say something. I had to flag down another server just to get Eric's attention. When I explained the issue, he took the plate, and eventually I received a replacement steak to-go (which I had to request). By then, everyone else had finished eating, and the dinner felt awkward and disrupted. The most frustrating part came when the check arrived - we were charged for both the incorrect steak and the replacement. When I pointed it out, Eric responded with, "If you don't want it, I'll take it," in a rude tone. He then threw a rag into a booth nearby in a way that felt dramatic and unprofessional. It was embarrassing and completely unnecessary. For context, I'm a server myself, and we still tipped 20% - we always do. But when you're paying around $50 for a steak, it should be cooked correctly, and addressing an issue shouldn't be met with attitude. Really disappointing experience, especially for a place I've trusted for years. Double-check your bill, and based on this visit, I would not recommend requesting Eric. First time at this location and first time sitting at a table instead of the bar. Neveah was our waitress and she was sweet. I ordered the shrimp and grits and they were not skimpy with the shrimp. It was good but not very filling because I was hungry again a couple hours later. I had the Hawaiian Pineapple Cosmopolitan and it was a pretty drink but that's about it. I didn't get much of a buzz, but I appreciated that Neveah left the shaker at the table because it was still some left. Beautiful restaurant and is perfect for date night or special occasions. Back again for another review of Seasons 52. There were two of us in for a super quick lunch. We were seated in Tori's section and she is the cutest thing ever! She reminded me of Snow White! Very sociable and adorable. She made me smile every time she came by the table! For drinks we had the Hawaiian Pineapple Cosmopolitan and a glass of Riesling. The martini was good, but not my favorite (no worries...I drank it all! I just wouldn't order it again). For lunch we had the sea scallops and a pairing with lobster bisque and a Cesar salad. Everything was delicious! We try to come at least once a season to see what's new for that particular season. One tip...they do keep it pretty chilly in there (understandable since it's around 100° outside!) So I recommend bringing a lightweight sweater if you tend to get cold. read more

This is OUR place!! My granddaughter turned 7 and we had to go to OUR restaurant . The food was spot on again. We shared a gluten free flatbread ( order from the kids menu to save a few dollars) , plank grilled salmon, new potatoes and perfect French green beans. We love all things seafood so we did an add on of grilled shrimp and a lobster tail. All of which were cooked perfectly. Since this was a birthday celebration the waitress brought out one of the little deserts and a desert cup with a candle stuck down in sugar. She also took a photo of the two of us . This week, we made a reservation for 8, but 2 other family members decided to join. When we asked to add 2 (10 total), they asked if we could squeeze into the same table ( for 8). After we considered and tried, it just wasn't feasible space wise. When I went back up to the front to ask if we could get 2 tables to allow for space, they informed me we'd have 2 different servers and 2 bills. They stated that If we wanted to put tables together, we'd have to pay a 20% gratuity, which we NORMALLY pay. At this point I felt like the front of the restaurant staff were being dismissive and condescending. Who doesn't know that large parties are charged a 20% gratuity routinely? I was becoming upset at the staff attitude at this point, so I went back to my family to tell them about the conversation. I returned to the front and the male staff member again repeated the information about 20% gratuity. At that point I had experienced enough of the attitude and told him that he did not have to be condescending to me. My daughter took over at that point and ask them to set up a larger table by putting tables together. That was the bad! The waitress was great and efficient, the food was good, particularly the lamb, shrimp and grits and rotisserie chicken. My family was well taken care of after that point and we enjoyed ourselves! That was the good! Will we be back, yes we like the food and the wait staff. Will we be concerned about the front of the restaurant staff? Yes, we will be sure to know how many are in our party as the restaurant doesn't appear to be very flexible. I would recommend that the staff get some additional customer service and conflict resolution training. At the end of the day, customer service is a make or break in the Buford market. We had sparkling cosmopolitan which was good, meatballs which were delicious and the artichokes with lemon hummus. Neither of us cared for the hummus. The small desserts are great. We went into this restaurant at around seven p m on a thursday night. It looked kind of packed, but they do have complimentary valet parking. You just have to tip your valet driver doesn't matter how much tip them they are great. Once we got in, there was no wait. We were seated right away. It was me and my 15-year-old son. Apparently, they change around their menu this time. They changed it to their autumn menu and everything on the menu is below 600 calories. I got the chicken thigh that was braised with carrots, mashed potatoes, mushrooms and miniature onions. It was delicious! My son got the half rotisserie chicken with I believe it was wild rice and Green Beans That was spectacular! 10/10 the server that we had, I forgot her name I wish I could remember because she was amazing. Have now dined here multiple times with reservations, and have never had to wait. Have dined on holidays, most recently on Easter Sunday after the brunch hour & several other times -on a whim & both experiences good, though Easter service - while gracious, was just a little chaotic & one fish entree was very uncooked & the rework of the dish seemed to take forever. So now after multiple visits we dropped it a star but if I could have dinged for half a star I would have. Regarding the undercooked fish, they probably should have comped the table the desserts as the synchronization of the dining experience got skewed badly while we waited on the correction. We conclude that service can be both exemplary & typically average depending on individual or how busy the restaurant is. Wine selections good, some with aggressive markup. Can get a little noticeably loud at times but have never had to shout at companion diners. Best value for surf & turf & great fresh fish selections. Their tuna tartare is the bomb. I've been to this particular location three times and each time it was a great experience. This location is right next to the Buford Mall. They are usually very busy and it's great if you get a reservation in advance. They also have complimentary valet in half their parking lot. Speaking of food, I love that they have healthy options and things that taste good as well. I love their cedar plank salmon. In their appetizers, their flatbreads are great specially their buffalo shrimp one. My son loves their cheese pizza flatbread. In desserts the mini desserts are a hit with many flavors to chose from. And I always add a cappuccino to end the meal. Love the restaurant with the high ceilings, pretty tree in the middle and plenty of setting. Great option to do a family dinner or celebration. This location is very nicely set up and one of our favorites to enjoy American cuisine with a healthier touch to it. The employees are excellent and efficient. We celebrated our anniversary here and we were not disappointed. Jessica P was our server and she a was very attentive. The food was excellent. I enjoyed Chilean Sea Bass over wild rice. My wife had a filet. Very nice presentation and flavor for both dishes. I was impressed that the Sea Bass was served hot. They have a nice selection of wine. Service was prompt. Our waiter was very nice, courteous, and frequently checked on us- but not intrusively. He heard us mention that it was my grandmother's birthday and quickly realized excused himself to retrieve a birthday sign so that anyone serving us would know that she's the honoree for our party. The ambiance could definitely be casual or romantic depending on the lighting level. The pricing wasn't bad for the quality of the food. For the 6 of use, we spent $242 for 6 meals, a salad, 4 drinks, and 4 desserts (tip included). I didn't get to try the Brussels sprouts, but they looked fantastic. My mom had the mushroom bisque with the Philly cheesesteak flatbread and it was crispy, but loaded, the bisque was rich and creamy. The cedar plank salmon was what my sister and step-grandad ordered. They said it had a nice roasted flavor on the outside, but it was still juicy on the inside. My grandmother and my moms boyfriend both ordered the rainbow trout and even though it looked really thin, it still looked juicy. I ordered the roasted pork chop- and was told that the chef's recommendation is medium rare. I said yes and I was VERY happy with how juicy and flavorful it was. The pork chop was thick and meaty, just a tiny bit of a bone that was easy to strip the meat off with my fork and knife. The pork chop was served over a bed of braised red cabbage and golden raisins. I was nonplussed with the cabbage. Personally, if I order the pork chop again, I'll request something else as a side. Finally, the $10 Caesar salad... While the Romain lettuce was crunchy and fresh, the cheese was freshly shaved Parmesan, and they made their own croutons... The Caesar dressing was a little less creamy and a bit more sour than I prefer, but it was still good. The croutons are where they lost me. I tried half of them, but gave up after three of the em were stale and chewy. The still-good croutons weren't crunchy- they were just hard. They need to change the recipe on their bread for the croutons because it was clearly too thick and it they didn't seem to have much flavor. I loved the dessert menu, but I think it would be even better if they served them just a few ounces larger than the spiral dessert tray shows them. (That's a personally preference.) everyone that tried a dessert said they were very rich, but because it wasn't a lot it was easy to finish and a good way to end the meal. Overall, Seasons 52 seems to be a great place for dates, business lunches/dinners, just having a basic get-together, or even special occasions. They have a very nice, but casual atmosphere that most people can appreciate. Plus, the price really wasn't too bad! I tipped 25%. So, do the math if you want. Give Seasons 52 a shot- you'll enjoy it. I promise! read more

I have visited Seasons 52 twice and both times my visit was great. The first visit my server was awesome and food was delicious. The second time food was delicious, but the server was not as friendly or engaging. Blonde female full figured, but not friendly at all. She was not rude , just not friendly. She was very matter of fact, sort of abrupt. Nonetheless the atmosphere was wonderful and place was very clean. They have the best bathrooms. In the men's room they have a grate under each urinals, to prevent folks from spraying all over the floor. If you get a chance, check them out. The price of the food is reasonable and the portions are too. Two can eat for less than $100. With maybe one appetizer, 2 entrees and two drinks. read more

My husband and I recently went to Seasons 52 at the Mall of Georgia to celebrate his birthday. We had 8 pm reservations, but it was a Friday night just before the holidays and so it was crowded; we probably were seated between 8:20-8:30. Our table was just adjacent to the kitchen, so it was quite busy, but at least we were able to see many of the dishes leaving the kitchen. There were several large parties that night, so other locations might have been noisy. I wanted to eat light, so I ordered a cup of the lobster bisque soup, and a Caesar salad. Both were lovely, the soup was creamy and yet had a very delicate taste; very enjoyable. The salad was crisp, and I had asked to have it dressed lightly, which they did. They served it with a little container of additional Caesar dressing, but I really did want it light, and didn't need the addition. My husband's fish was nice, he had hoped for a little more flavor, but they were able to provide a couple of sauces which he mixed and made it enjoyable for him. In addition, we enjoyed a couple of cocktails, both of which were mixed well. We don't come here often, but we'll definitely return. read more
