Husband and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. Finally went last night and was really not impressed. First, the staff is great! They know their menus and are always on top of everything. Kept us informed of our food arrival and etc.., made fabulous wine recommendations even offering a small taste before we decided. The UWT salad was just ok, the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread was almost uneditable, the Korean Shortribs were not any better. The flatbread was swimming in buffalo sauce and blue cheese. For me, the specials flight with pairing wines is a great deal. My husband does not drink so orders a regular entree. The first time, the grilled cheese was underwhelming. This time the chicken pot pie was delicious but tiny for the price of $16. The filling is next to nothing with a puff pastry topping. Quantity not worth the $16 for certain. Prosecco and Malbec are delicious. Some of the best! For the flights, usually the pasta dish is the most underwhelming and sometimes the steak dish is cut more fatty than meat. I met a friend here on a Saturday night and it was busy! There's plenty of parking out front. They have outdoor seating and also seating at the bar in addition to the space inside. Our server was attentive and explained everything to us. I love that they have many options for drinks- wine on tap, bottles, beers and cocktails. I would like to see more gin cocktails in the future. I ended up getting a dirty martini and it was nice and strong. I love the variety of menu and that everything is tapas style. I got the Korean short ribs and I was a little disappointed. Not much Korean flavor other than sesame seeds and scallions on top. The meat was not as tender as I wished for and it was way salty for my taste. The potatoes were nice and cheesy. We also got some fries and they were crispy and nicely seasoned. It's got excellent food and a welcoming vibe that makes us want to become regulars here. The waitstaff here are especially friendly and pleasant, making you feel genuinely welcome. The wine flights are a standout, especially for my wife. She's always excited to see what's on rotation, and it's a fun way to try something new without the commitment of a full glass. As for me, I'm all about the food, and the kitchen here really knows what it's doing. The menu is updated often with weekly specials to keep things interesting. The short ribs are a favorite of mine: perfectly cooked, tender, and loaded with flavor. When I remember to take photos, everything I've had has been a 5-star experience. The chicken pot pie is popular right now as it hits all the right notes for a cold winter evening with its flaky crust and rich filling. Portions are on the smaller side, but everything's so well-prepared it's worth slowing down to savor each bite. I also really enjoy the variety of soups. Went here for the first time the other night and they were pretty packed. Their parking lot was full but if you drive around a few times you'll eventually find a spot. We were promptly seated and our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable and made some great recommendations to my friend for cocktails. All the cocktails she suggested my friend loved and she even said that the three she had were the best she's had since she moved to Georgia. High compliments indeed! We ordered the Bacon Flight, the Pimento Cheese and their Hand Cut Fried Potatoes. The Bacon Flight was good but I think the execution could have been a little better. Other than using your fingers, it was difficult to grab hold of the slices of Bacon. The tiny scissors that came with the dish made cutting a little arduous. I wasn't a fan of the Peanut Butter sauce but the other three were good. The pork rinds were good although there weren't that many of them. The Pimento Cheese was just ok. It wasn't a big serving but at the price point I wouldn't expect it to be. I have had better, but it was still tasty enough that if someone wanted to order it again I wouldn't protest. My favorite thing was the fries or the "Hand Cut Fried Potatoes". They were super yummy alone. They needed nothing. If I could have eaten a vat of those and nothing else I would have been happy. The atmosphere is nice. Not quiet but not very loud. Everyone just enjoying themselves with some spirits and good company. They did not know who ordered what and came around multiple times--"Is this anyone's?" - it was disorganized. However, when we went to pay for our part, they could not find the receipts, The wine and beer were good, and the food was "bar style" and OK. However, when we went to pay for our part, they were unable to find the receipts, and it took major work to pay. A person in our party had wine spilled on them, and it took convincing for them to admit this was on them. If you spill wine on people, you need to own it! Umm with wine in the name I expected better. Tried a 4-choice flight with a mix of standard and reserve options. Only two of the four were drinkable and the other two were mid. Food presentation was very disappointing and taste wasn't much better. My filet sandwich on ciabatta loaf was hard a rock and dry. The fillet was cooked properly but came out lukewarm. My husband had the Korean short rib which he described as shredded brisket over overcooked potatoes sitting in grease. So if you're used to eating out downtown Duluth or comparable, don't bother. I had been meaning to try this spot for a while, and I finally was able to do so last Saturday evening. The restaurant is not too big, and when I went, it was a full house. IThere were a few open seats at the bar, which is where I sat, after being greeted by the hostess. Regarding the speed of service and check ins by the staff, It took a few minutes for me to be greeted by the bartender, and their check ins were few and far between, although I did notice that some bar patrons had more frequent visits and more interactions during the visits. I did not mind, as I wanted to enjoy a quiet evening out alone. Speaking of, the restaurant was quite noisy, but that is to be expected at a wine bar, after everyone has a few drinks, right? I ordered a wine flight (4 pours of different wines), the turkey and kale soup, the chicken tacos, and the caramel apple turnover. All were very delicious. My total was ~$50. What a great place to have tapas and enjoy an extensive wine and bar list. We started out with a peach Bellini and tropical mule which both tasted great. Their winter sangria was on the dry side and although it wasn't sweet, it tasted good. We ordered several tapas. The brussel sprouts with the balsamic reduction was so good. The garlic Parmesan broccoli was quickly eaten. The duck fat fries were so good we wanted a second order (we ordered the half size and wished we had gotten the full size). The seared pork loin with wasabi mashed potatoes was so tender, not dry, and delicious. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the sauce was perfect. The Korean braised short ribs with potato salad had a nice smoky taste. It was not spicy, just a little sweet. The meat was so tender you didn't need a knife. Loved the Angus burger sliders on pretzel buns (you get three). It's not often I find sliders that are so juicy and flavorful that you don't need anything on it. Definitely a double order next time. We ended the night with two deserts, the maple bourbon bread pudding and the chocolate chip skillet cookie. Both were made fresh and came to the table hot. The cookie came with your choice of ice cream and they were perfect together. The signature bread pudding was also served in a skillet. It wasn't too sweet or mushy, maybe a tad dry but still enjoyable. The service was excellent. Our server Spencer explained everything to us and we received our food in a timely manner. I have come to this new spot twice. The first visit was wonderful The waiter explained the menu, intent of food items on menu, wine flight, selections, etc. Also, we were told that the food comes to the table as soon as it is ready. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The vegetable potstickers, fried green tomatoes, lobster Mac... all delicious. Wine flight was only $15, very reasonable and very tasty! Second visit was a little different. We came on Tuesday night. There was a very little wait time. We were a party of two placed between to larger parties that were quite loud. So much so that we could not hear eachother and therefore could not hold a conversation. I understand, they cannot completely control this, but the service was not nearly what I received at the first visit. It was my friend's first visit and we told the waitress this, but the menu was not explained. I tried to explain but I did not do the menu justice. Being in between the two larger parties, we were left trying to get the attention of the waitress for water, additional food items and the check. It's a great upscale-ish local restaurant for a date night or to meet friends at. The few critiques for all my visits: the restaurant is loud. It's hard to hear people at your table. Maybe some background music or sound dampening decor would help. Also this restaurant is a tight squeeze. Too many tables/chairs and not enough room between to walk around or for servers. I was on crutches on one of my previous visits and struggled to make it to my table and out when leaving. Spacing things out a bit might help with the noise level too. Lastly I wish there were more gluten free options. It's slim pickings for those of us with gluten issues. read more

Went out for a Friday night date night, and we found this place on Yelp. We really enjoyed the food and the drinks. Mark, the owner, came up and chatted with us for a couple of mins. Very nice guy. Apparently their first location is in Marietta, and they have a third location in Acworth. Overall, a great experience. Only thing I'd say is the chairs at the bar were a little hard. I've been waiting on them to open for a while and it did not disappoint. I started with a Peach Bellini which is really flavorful. The tomatoe soup is a bit thick but the flavor is really good. I tried the cheese ravioli which is a chefs special. It was really good, I tend to not like ravioli because I don't like ricotta cheese but this has 3 other cheeses.
