The restaurant is located in Downtown Duluth, where parking is quite limited and often full due to the many other restaurants in the area. The interior and decor are stately with a touch of whimsy. Service is both professional and friendly. The food is beautifully presented and creatively prepared familiar dishes with unique flavor twists. While the flavors weren't exactly to my personal taste, it was still an enjoyable experience trying out this restaurant. I would recommend this place to others who enjoy creative takes on classic dishes. If I'm in the area again, I'd be happy to return and try more from the menu.

The service was very nice. True Love was the name of our server and she was so kind and very attentive. I asked for a Redbull and they did not have one but offered to go and get one from the outside. It was a very sweet gesture. Cocktails were good! Food was nice too. I was not impressed with the charcuterie appetizer. It was not very balanced with too many salty things on the plate. It only had two meat options and big blocks of cheese that were not easy to pair and eat together with the other ingredients. I think thin slices of cheese, and a variety of meats, plus additional options of sweet jams would be nicer. Pickled onions were good! Our cappuccino was not hot and was just about lukewarm but tasted very good. I was not a fan of the fries and pretty much left them at the table. I think if they were hotter it would have tasted better. Short rib was nice and fatty and the ravioli (Agnolotti) appetizer was absolutely delicious and my favorite out of everything I had. The goat cheese cheesecake was REALLY good. I would like to try this place again when they rotate the menu. Overall I had a great experience aside from the few things I mentioned above.

Rhiannon took great care of us, she was extremely professional and was one of the main highlights of our visit... definitely brought class to the environment. Another highlight was the Hamachi Crudo, so fresh and delicious and just an overall beautiful flavor. Do not skip out if you're a fan of Crudo!! This would also be a perfect introduction to someone who's a little intimidated by raw fish. The Maitaki Mushrooms were PERFECT! They give you a very generous portion of crispy, flavorful mushrooms, topped with a pleasant sauce and delicious pickled onions. We came for a quick bite so we ended with the Budino dessert, and it did not disappoint. It was decadent but not too sweet as the miso cut it with a touch of saltiness. The vanilla chantilly cream was delightful, and the pearls added a nice, crunchy change of texture to the overall soft dish. We absolutely loved our experience, the only advice I would give to the restaurant is to make proper playlists. I didn't feel the music reflected the vibe of the restaurant properly, and it was honestly all over the place (ranged from a One Direction song to "Summer of '69"). Other than that, it was AMAZING! I'll be recommending this restaurant to friends and family, and I can't wait to come back and try their tasting menu!

Short rib with bleu cheese on the side, scallops

My husband and I were talking about how excited we are to come back here when we were still finishing our entrees. We had the 4-year anniversary special ($160) which included a first course, second course, two entrees, a dessert, and either a bottle of wine or two cocktails. We had the charcuterie board to start, which had a nice variety of meats, cheeses, and pickled vegetables. Our second course, the agnolotti, was clearly fresh pasta and was delicious. For our entrees, my husband had the scallops, which he said were some of the best he had ever had. My short rib, which was recommended by our server, was tender and did not require a knife to slice. The goat cheese cheesecake was delicious and was an interesting take on it - almost served more like a custard. Even aside from the food, the atmosphere is beautiful and unique, and the service is impeccable. Parking is easy in downtown Duluth with plenty of free options available. Falling Rabbit will be our go-to for any special occasions in the future!

Restaurant is really adorable, this is not a great picture

Well, let's break it down to the good bad and ugly. The good, the restaurant is as adorable as can be, and the service is warm and welcoming and attentive. The bad, starting off with an extremely limited menu. There's not a lot to pick from. The idea is to make a few things but make them well. I would agree with that, but it is still too limiting, only two meats on the menu lamb And Wagyu ribeye. I don't eat lamb so I went with the ribeye, 85 % fat. What a disappointment . I understand ribeye can have a marbling of fat, but this was just all fat. Wish it would've been a fillet mignon. I did mention to my server that the meat was a lot of fat , but nothing was offered For that. Quite possibly one of the worst steak I've ever had. I literally had a plate full of fat leftover. Possibly had four or five bites of meat. The peppers that it rested on were wonderful. But to pay almost 50 bucks for a plate of fat, take a pass folks. The french fries were lovely, but they were just french fries. Really nothing special , they had a nice dipping sauce, but for 14 bucks for a bowl of fries. The pasta homemade but a small portion. And the apple warm cake .. again, nothing amazing. Now for the ugly, you go to pay, And they charge you five dollars for using your credit card. Nowhere on the website does it tell you this and honestly in this day and age who is going to take in a pile of cash to nice restaurant? I find it completely tacky, Especially when you're charging me 14 bucks for fries and 50 for a plate of fat. I honestly have been waiting to try this restaurant, but every time I looked at the very limited menu I was just never impressed. But I decided to pull the trigger and try it, and I was disappointing. The menu is just too limiting and you leave here hungry and you pay five bucks for using your credit card. I would have to see some big changes on the menu and drop that credit card charge , for me to come back .

I came here just for Happy Hour and it was such a warm experience. The frites (fries) were perfectly fried and crispy and tbe charcuterie was a nice blend of chesses, veggies & chips ! I got an Espresso Martini for my drink and hands down, one of the best ive had. The coffee and liquor were a perfect balance and one wasn't more overpowering than the other. The bartender was so nice to make sure that my drink was perfect as well :) I would recommend coming here for a girls night or a date night or any occassion! I can't wait to try and come back here for dinner so I can soak in the full experience !

Our family went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration. We all enjoyed the four course menu as well as a couple of a la cartes and the wine flight. It was a delicious dinner. The ambiance feels kind of steampunk classy and the bar is popular. Our server was so kind and everyone on the staff wished my son happy birthday.

The restaurant is located in a perfect spot downtown Duluth. We go to Noona next door all the time so we decided to try it out. It looks a bit fancy but we liked that you can sit outside. Not many were there on a Sunday afternoon as other restaurants around. We ordered drinks and they were both underwhelming, bland, short of alcohol. It was not good. Our charcuterie board looked like they just found whatever that was left over in the fridge. I ordered cod I think and it had a really fishy smell to it. I didn't even eat half of it. My friend ordered short ribs that were too salty. Overall I thought it was in a great location, cute decor, bad drinks, mediocre food, and disappointing menu!

Been to Falling Rabbit three weekends in a row because it's extremely pleasant every visit! I'd label this as a luxury cocktail bar for my ladies who want a girl's night that's not inner-city. Things you should know: I. PARKING Downtown Duluth has various free, public parking lots. You may have to drive around on weekend evenings a little before you can find a space. Also, you might have to walk a little bit if you cannot find a nearby spot. II. SERVICE The service here is PHENOMONAL! We've stayed past close (not realizing) and they didn't do anything to rush us out. I mean, I would have personally started mopping the floors in front of the guests and would have cut the music, but they just carried on like normal. My friend also forgot her purse! So we called 20 minutes past close time (they picked up!) and they said we could come get it that same night! Wow! So friendly. I wouldn't take that for granted though guys. Please don't leave your belongings. III. QUALITY So far, I've only consistently bought cocktails and charcuterie boards. All delicious. Nothing disappointed. IV. CAPACITY Slim available seating on weekends. Some bar stools available for walk-in guests. Highly recommend making a reservation though.

This place is described as "casual fine dining" and I'd definitely say it hits the mark! This place has been on my radar for a bit and I decided to try it out on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation and I'm glad we did--the restaurant is on the smaller side so if you're a large party I'd recommend it. I ordered the campanelle and my date got the market fish. We also ordered a drink as well that was priced at around $16--typical drink price in my opinion. Price wise we spent about $88 total which is pretty decent for fine dining. Like most fine dining places, portions were small however not so small that you'd leave feeling hungry. But this is definitely not the place I'd recommend coming to completely starving. The food was amazing--well crafted, seasoned, and cooked. The waiter recommend the campanelle over the confit pork belly that I had been considering and I'm glad I got it because I absolutely adored it! Tasted like authentic pesto pasta! The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for an intimate date night. Looking forward to coming back.

I love everything about this place. Foods are delicious Service was outstanding Inside decorate was pretty and elegant.

Falling Rabbit is a very chic restaurant in Downtown Duluth and it gives me Alice in Wonderland vibes. My girlfriends and I came in for a Saturday night happy hour and had a great time. The decor is absolutely stunning and no detail is missed. The service was wonderful and our waitress did a great job. The cocktails are strong and delicious and only $8 for happy hour. I had the Paloma with a nice grapefruit twist and the Margarita with lime and salt. My friends had the French 75, Amaretto Sour, and Paloma as well and they enjoyed it. The downside is that the food portions are super small! We ordered a couple charcuterie platters to share and we were surprised at how little was offered. The platter contents were less than satisfying from the meats to the cheeses to the olives. Not impressed with the food. Honestly, I give 3 stars for the ambiance and cocktails but the food leaves much to be desired in terms of portions, quality, and flavor.

My husband and I came here for an anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint! The chef here was trained under a Michelin Star chef and it shows. The food was spectacular! The space itself is just as impressive as the food. Very chic and beautifully decorated. Everything about Falling Rabbit is IG worthy. It was amazing to be OTP and have a restaurant of this caliber near by. 10/10 would go again!

But the second we walked into Eclipse, he immediately pivoted and admitted this place looked better inside and out. Victory tastes sweet... almost as sweet as the caramel drizzle on the tres leches cake. Let's talk about the atmosphere. There's a literal indoor tree growing out of the middle of the restaurant like we're dining in an enchanted Spanish forest. Add in the giant crystal chandelier dripping drama from the ceiling and you've got a space that says, "Yes, we're upscale... but we also know how to party." The live guitarist sealed the deal. Nothing says romantic tapas night like a man casually shredding a red guitar five feet from your table. Now the food. It came out fast. Suspiciously fast. "Did they know we were coming?" fast. And every single plate slapped. The crispy potatoes were seasoned like they had something to prove. The empanada was golden and flaky with that creamy dipping sauce that makes you consider licking the container when no one's looking. The short ribs were so tender they looked like they'd been emotionally supported before being served. Even the fried croquettes and goat cheese with carmelized onions and honey felt like they had main-character energy. And that cake. That glorious, whipped-topped, caramel-drizzled masterpiece. I would write it a thank-you note. The staff? Impeccable. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without forcing it. The kind of service that makes you feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time. The only downside: it was the first warm day in a while, and the sun decided our table was the chosen one.
