The atmosphere is laid back and chill. I was a little disappointed that there was no longer a live band on Wednesday nights. My server was as sweet as ever. She even made a suggestion. I had the mixed berry mojito. It was rather bland and seemed watered down. It looked the part but lacked flavor. I decided to try the fried manchego cheese. This was a fascinating combination. One that intrigued me. My server even said it was one of her favorites. It wasn't bad. The grilled apple slices were absolutely delectable! This is an upscale spot to stop by whenever in the area.

crumbled blue on the wings.. primeau!

The Sonesta is a mid-mid-tier business hotel for those that work, eat, sleep. No rest for the wicked, as they say. Art Bar is the uncommonly good resident mid-tier business restaurant/bar and true to its name pieces of art adorn the walls (which you can take with you for the listed price). I highly recommend for the food, the service and the buffer it provides to the world outside. WHAT DID YOU HAVE: - Art Bar Swiss Burger - Lettuce/Red Onion Medium, tasted really good, healthy portion of beef, ordered dry - Fries - perfect.. salted evenly, long cut, crispy - Buffalo Wings - star of the show, spicy and sweet, the sauce has bbq, molasses, sprinkled with crumbled blue cheese - Heineken - Van Winkle Bourbon (didn't have, just shocked to see it, small batch has a wait-list) SERVICE: Excellent, dined at the bar. Eric and Barbara took care of our party all night long. AMBIANCE: I'm sure most of the time its a grab bag, like any hotel, but on this occasion there were a number of people in different groups elevating the energy in the room. NBA games added to it. SUMMARY: Surprisingly good food and service, ambiance is going to be an undetermined variable, but add the unexpected Rip Van Winkle and it might be worth a local's trip. Ultimately you come here because you are here, but I look forward to life's simple pleasures and this is one of them.

The menu does not match the pictures of the advertise. I had the salmon anD sadly it was tasteless. On an other day I had a burger and it was uneventful either.

The Artbar is inside the Sonata hotel on Pleasant Hill. I never knew it was there. I got an appetizer of deviled eggs that were bland nothing special but for $6 I was disappointed. I had a couple of glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon that were good. It was pretty quiet but the bartender was attentive without being pushy.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 days and had dinner at this spot. It was delicious. The setting is also pleasing. I would've never expected a place like this to be located in a hotel.

Nice restaurant and bar in the Sonesta hotel. Good variety of seating options with regular dining sets, lower comfy chairs and stools around the bar. Service is friendly and attentive. Various nice beers on tap and bottled. Food took a good while come out when I ate there. Pretty tasty though. There's live music on Wednesdays.

Something about these wings really floated my boat

Burgers on the menu are always a great casual lunch or dinner. The 007 burger is my favorite. The specials rotate regularly so if you want something different that option is available too. This visit they had a mascarpone ravioli with scallops, spinach, sundried tomatoes, and lobster-butter sauce. Outside seating is a winner with umbrellas for the summer and propane burners for winter. This place has a lot of variety for whatever mood you are in.

The service was already terrible when we were told to sit down wherever and then this guy comes out of nowhere and sits us down at a terrible spot, and keeps coming back to asks questions even when we ordered steak he came back to ask what temperature which is very odd because it's normally asked when you order THE steak. Ambiance is okay very simple and bland, could be more vibrant.

Dreamland faces the back towards Abbots Bridge Road, there's a large parking lot out front but good luck finding parking there, especially on busy weekends. I recommend going around the corner and parking in front of Coleman Middle School across the street (when school is out of session like on weekends). Otherwise I'd time my visits to off-hours and during the week day. Where to begin with this one? I was a frequent visitor to the Dreamland BBQ that occupied a free-standing building on Peachtree Parkway, just south east of the Forum. From what I remember that building had a fire and I believe that this location is where the restaurant ended up. To start, this is a massive space with high ceilings, a large bar and plenty of seating - very different from the cozy confines of the original location. We attended the exceptional Le Bon fest held by Goodword Brewing nearby and being ready for something more substantial than a few oysters, we ended up at Dreamland. It took a while to be seated as there wasn't anyone out front - there was one booth already seated in an otherwise empty restaurant, so it could be our timing wasn't the best. We ended up being seated at the bar and our server was delightful, super nice and personable. When I went to the restroom to wash my hands, as soon as I touched the single sink valve, water geysered into the air about 4 feet. The other sink wasn't working at all. Anyway I managed, and also reported what was happening as there really wasn't a way to turn it off. My friend Ken ordered the roasted chicken with a double side of green beans. I ordered the half-slab and deferred ordering any sides as from experience, 6 bones tend to be a lot of meat. What I received was something of a joke - the bones were tiny and hardly had any meat on them filling about half the basket. Now I understand that sometimes getting the smaller side of a rack, you end up with less food, but this was somewhat ridiculous. It's been a long time since I've left a BBQ place hungry, but there it is. If the service had been bad I probably would have left a 1 star review, but I'll give the place the benefit of the doubt. Very disappointing.

This young lady greeted guests as they arrived in the door with the most pleasant disposition that I have ever seen, and I will tell you why she was so fantastic in a minute. We were promptly seated as she politely asked us to please be patient with her as she was THE only one working that evening. This young woman was the greeter, the server, the bartender, the food runner, and the bus boy. She did it all with a gracious attitude that I have ever seen one person muster. Although it was a Wednesday night, there were a few people inside and it could have been a task that quickly became overwhelming, but it did not for her. Kuddos to this young lady! The fries were not greasy. They were crispy, soft, and plentiful. I would recommend giving Dreamland a try not only for the food but also to look at the decor and take it all in.

Hey there! This is my 2nd time coming to this restaurant & I can say that the restaurant has an…read moreattractive appearance. My wife loves the music atmosphere in the building, you can also see other customers grooving to the music so they know how to please their customers ears. I love the artwork they have in the back, makes you feel like a NY graffiti alley. I find it very interesting I guess since I'm interested in this type of art. Now for the service, every time we come by we always run into a very nice & sweet lady but we can tell one of the employees does have an attitude from the group. I'm glad we didn't have to deal with her, life is stressing but when you come to work it's best to leave the attitude behind & put your best A game while you're at work. Let's go now with food, I enjoy soul food. It's just some kind of food that gets you stuffed. Makes me feel like I'm enjoying a home cooked meal, their food is delicious. I'm not picky & I don't like down shamming anyone's business. That's not how I roll, I have a business myself & I know I'd dislike someone who understands situations or value of what they do. But, I did have an issue on the temperature of the food. It comes out lukewarm & it's a little disappointing because you're waiting at least 10-15 mins before you get your food. I would atleast appreciate the food being a little warmer. In this order, my wife got oxtails with Mac & Cheese & Fried Okra. She was pleased with her order! I love their cornbread muffin, it has amazing flavors! I got the honey croissant this time with my smoked chicken, it wasn't bad but I guess I was digging the honey on the croissant. Chicken was good, i enjoyed it & the veggies are great. I got steam cabbage, their seasonings were amazing. I also got veggies, they came out great. I absolutely admire their fresh squeezed agave lemonade! It tastes amazing, I recommend anyone to give it a try. I made a sun-joy out of it! I can't complain, their food will get you stuffed for the prices they have going on here. Each plate is around $15.00-24.00.

I absolutely love the set up of this location, you can actually sit down and get your grub on. They have fountain drinks at this location as well. The restaurant was clean, and the food was good, unfortunately the food was served with a side of attitude.... and the service was pretty rushed so that the cashier could get back to the lobby to entertain her guest on this particular Saturday. -1 hour and 20 minutes wait on wait list (and we think the hostess forgot about us)…read more-30 minutes to wait for food after seated -some elements forgotten on food This was my first time at the suwanee location. Showed up at 11am on Sunday for a birthday brunch. The hostess said there was a wait but could not give us an estimate. We got on their wait list which was on the toast app and texted to us. We sat in the car and waited as people shuffled in and out of the door. There were 7 tables ahead of us according to the app. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. We noticed so many people were doing take out orders. We went inside to inquire about the remaining wait time to consider take out instead. When we asked the same hostess who put us down on the wait list, she seemed alarmed when I gave her my name and was like "oh you're (my name)". We asked if we missed something for the wait list and she said no. A table was leaving and she said we could have that one and this was when the wait list said there were 2 tables ahead of us left. My group felt that she may have skipped us or forgotten about us based on her reaction. Our server was very nice. We waited another 30 minutes for food after being seated. My sis wanted to go here for her birthday because of the brunch vibes and mimosas. This was a part of the reason why we just waited the long wait. Turns out this suwanee location does not serve alcohol. :( Food: The shrimp and grits and fish ($25) and grits were pretty good, but I was surprised by how many onions were inside. I have never seen so many onions in grits before. It was in every bite. There were a lot of half cut bulbs of small onions in my grits (as pictured). I also felt that the presentation for the fish and grits was really messy and rushed. The fish and grits ($26) did not have that many onions in comparison. They also asked if we wanted cheese on our grits. We both said yes and it turned out there was a dollar charge added to our receipt for each one. I noticed mine didn't have cheese once I looked back at my photos, but my sister's did based on the color and taste. Hers was yellow on top and more savory. Mine was plainer and white, so I think they forgot my cheese. The shrimp was blackened and seasoned well though. The salmon was also a little dry and didn't pair as well with shrimp since it wasn't crunchy according to my sis. The chicken and biscuit ($18) had a lightly fried and crispy chicken that was very good. However, there was very little gravy just on the bottom of the plate, which was different from the photos where it was covered with gravy sauce on top. It made the dish a bit dry without more gravy. The side of potatoes for $5 was incredibly bland and plain. We barely touched them. The server automatically gave us 10% off our check because our food "took a while to come out" when we did not say anything to them. I wondered if its because they really did forget to seat us from the wait list. The food was pretty good outside of the lack of gravy on the chicken and bland potato side. But the wait time and overall experience to actually dine really took away from the overall experience. The seating is pretty limited to 2 seat tables and bigger groups would take up conjoined tables, which I believe is why the wait was so long. I think we would have had better luck with timing to going our food as so many people were picking up to go orders. The hostess also kept coming to our table to take the menu qr sign and would say sorry and interrupt our meal and then bring it back to interrupt again. She did this twice. The strange thing was that every table had one and we were seated furthest from where she was standing at the front door. I didn't understand why she couldn't have taken it from a closer table or why they didn't have a copy up front. It was disruptive. Overall, the potential for all of our dishes to be really good was definitely there. Some stuff was forgotten on our plates and the long wait really took away from the experience unfortunately.
