I always feel bad giving a bad score, and of course, my experience can be completely different for someone else. We came on a weekday, place was empty with the exception of a drunk group in a booth room. Our hostess was not rude but not welcoming either, almost felt like we were an inconvenience. I had to double check they were still willing to take dine in. We got sat down next to the drunk group, which did not help the mood. Service felt slow and somewhat rushed. Menu is limited, somewhat pricey and not that appetizing. The dishes we got were also not that great for the wait and price so it felt like an overall disappointing night. When in the Duluth area after some good KBBQ, we at times come here. Last time was our 4th or 5th time there and the cocktails were on the weak side... but they made up for it. Service is usually good and we always get a room for the three of us and order a lot of beer and soju . Usually the place isn't too loud. We decide to come here on a Friday night after dinner for Karaoke. When I first walked in. I was super impressed on how clean the place was. Its called "Luxury Bar" for a reason. You could either karaoke here or hang outside in the booth. They also have a Photo Booth to take pictures for $6. Take advantage of the photo both when you come thru have done cute props. The large room is $30 an hour with free complimentary chips and salsa. We had to spend more than $100 in order to get one hour of karaoke for free. It's a true karaoke place and does not run off of YouTube like some places. We didn't order food, we just got some snacks. I really like the place and the service was great! Happy hour are Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 8pm which consists of 30% off food and small soju bottles for $9.99. I will definitely be back to try out the food. read more

When we walked in, the atmosphere was peaceful, likely because it was a weekday and not too crowded. The food and service were great--the dishes arrived quickly and the portions were relatively big. The staff was also attentive. We also did karaoke, which offered a good variety of songs, though the selection of English songs was limited. On weekends, the vibe shifts to more hip hop and trendy pop, with some nostalgic 90s music thrown in for good measure. This music selection creates an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. I've had the opportunity to try the food on two occasions, and one of those times was entirely by accident when I was invited to join a table of friendly strangers. They kindly paid for my drinks that I already had alone and allowed me to eat with them. The food choices, including delectable fish cake, spicy rice cakes, and chicken feet, were not my usual palate or choices, but they were surprisingly delicious. For those looking to make the most of their money, I recommend visiting The 901 with a group to enjoy the food options, as it's a common approach in Korean restaurants. While the karaoke rooms might be on the pricey end, the overall experience and excellent service make it well worth the expense. The 901 is one of the newest K-bars in town and I could not be happier! If you're looking for a GLAM vibe with less people, The 901 is the place to go. I come here whenever I want to get drinks with good K-bar food but don't want the plethora of people like Glam. The interior is extremely huge. They have tables, booths, karaoke rooms and just plenty of space just in general. I came here to get drinks and this is what I ordered the most recent time I came. Spicy Fire Daechang - This dish was very good. Comes with daechang, garlic & rice cakes and the seasoning is perfectly sweet & spicy. The server did say it was very spicy so we asked for a little less spicy. It was perfect! The only thing I will say though is that the portions are kind of small considering it is a $28.99 dish. Fish Cake Stew - I loved the odeng tang. It's different from your usual odeng tang. It came with rice cakesC plenty of fish cake skewers and even udon noodles so it was just a great dish and perfect soup for drinking. The service is top notch and they give you nachos with homemade salsa as service so that was pretty neat too. They also have darts in the back so there's plenty to do here. However, I came here like a month ago and wasn't a fan of the food, which was the ox and beef brisket soup (lack of flavor) , the wings (were ok), and the seafood pancake (ok too). I told my good friend I wasn't planning to come back but she convinced me to come back and try other dishes.... So, I came back and I tried the boiled pork, rice ball, and spicy boneless chicken feet. All these dishes were so yummy and I will be coming back eat again! I use to love coming here to hang with friends, grab food and a few drinks while karaoke-ing on the weekends. However, I don't know when they started to do this, but now they have a minimum charge of $100 on the weekends, NOT INCLUDING the $30-35 per hour for karaoke. I don't know if this only pertains to weekends but the fact that they are forcing people to buy a minimum of food/drinks that total up to at least $100 and are HELLA PUSHY about it, doesn't sit well with me. I'm sure they also up the minimum amount depending on your group size. Don't get me wrong, their drinks are good and the karaoke rooms are fun, but make sure if you're planning on coming here, that you and your party are aware they will charge you a certain amount regardless of how short your stay is. read more

This place had it all. We celebrated my wife's birthday here and they were incredibly awesome! They made sure we were comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. When we had a question they provided an immediate response, especially when it came to operating the karaoke device! We had a group of 12 so in addition to the hourly karaoke room rate, we had to spend an additional minimum of $300 on food, drinks...etc. which was great for the big group and you can definitely hit the minimum. The room was very clean and spacious. The servers were very prompt and got everything for you right away. I will say the only thing is the food selection being somewhat limited. We had a couple people who had food restrictions and they weren't able to eat anything. We also had a couple of people who weren't drinking that night or don't drink so it also would've been nice to have some mocktails or zero alcohol beers. Rather quiet but I know the vibes must be great on busier nights. Kevin's service was 10/10. We got a room for $25/hour and ordered their most premium bottle of Patron Silver for $230. (I know... steep!) I hope they can provide a better selection of tequilas soon. Tequila is in right now! As per usual the bottle came with the complimentary fruit platter or cheese platter priced at $20 on the menu. We ordered the boneless chicken feet and bossam. We LOVE bossam! Thank you for the oyster option!!! The space was a little too big and open for comfort but as I said early I bet it's perfect for on a busier night. went with two friends for my birthday, service was okay at first until we kept getting rushed. we were seated at a booth with wet seats and a wet table. when we advised the waiter the entire booth was still wet he said they were just cleaned and did not offer anything to dry or wipe off our booth, we were all in dresses having to sit on a wet seat with a wet table. we had to use our coats/jackets to sit on the seats.. the food was good, very pricey though. midway through our night the server advised us of what time they close which is 2am, we responded that we were aware of the time they closed. once we got the bill, the server came into the room three more times to tell us they were closing, each time we advised him we were preparing to pay the bill. another waiter then comes into the room to tell us they are closed. my friends and had already stopped the karaoke at least 20 minutes in advance so we could pay the bill together which we told the waiter that we had just told the previous waiter that and that he did not need to keep telling us they were closed. at this point we felt very rushed out of the bar due to the animosity of the employees. The second waiter attempted to pressure me into tipping, which i usually do when the service is good but i was not satisfied and the crew already received a very decent gratuity tip of $30. the only thing i can give props to is the quality of the food, would not go to this karaoke bar again. read more

The place looks nice but cut to the chase; the server straight up grab our shot glasses out of our hands as he kicked us out.... I understand it's near closing but still never gave us a heads up. We wouldn't have a problem leaving if he told us before if they want to get everyone out by 2 i would understand they want to go home i feel bad for being the last customers there that's why we made sure to tip them 25%. Never have i ever had a server physically grab drinks out of our hands like wtf?! I don't even do that to my own customers. I bet this place is really great and has amazing service and all but this was my first time coming here and last. Never experience anything like this at a pocha.... read more
