The food and the vibe of the place were amazing but the service was lacking. I usually don't complain about service especially at an Asian joint but it needs an major improvement here. The employees, including the servers, all stayed in the kitchen instead of staying outside and checking up on people. On the rare occasion that they did come out, it was extremely difficult to get their attention. We had to ask for rice three separate times and it still didn't come so I ended up having to go up to the cash register and ask again after waiting for the employee to come out of the kitchen. As for the food, the serving size was decently big and both dishes tasted pretty authentic. Overall, everyone enjoyed the experience but the service could have been better.

    Whole Chicken Noodle Soup ($39.99)

Stopped by for dinner and a beer. They are currently working on their sign, so it says High Speed Wings. FOOD: Whole Chicken Noodle Soup ($39.99) - This seems to be one of their signature dishes. The broth tastes very rich but light at the same time. It gets continuously boiled so the broth gets richer and the taste gets deeper as you eat. The chicken is so tender and soft. The flavors are all seeped inside since it's been boiled with the broth. The accompanying sauce seems to be hot pepper flakes and sesame oil with a vinegary soy-sauce. It pairs perfectly with the chicken and good to add the broth later if you want a spicy version. This dish should serve 3-4 people but if you have any leftovers, you can ask for containers. Not mentioned in their menu, but we also got a 12 fl oz beer which was $3.99. SERVICE/VIBE: The owners were both friendly and inviting. You can tell they have pride in their dishes and want you to get the best experience eating it. The interior is very reminding of a Korean pocha/pub. Looks like a good place to grab a drink and good food with friends. Highly recommend trying it out and supporting as it's located in a somewhat remote area of PIB.

A unique retro 90s korean pocha bar. It's definitely an experience with the old Korean ballads playing in the background and music videos from the 90s on the tv. The place is small and it's always packed. The server is very sweet and will call you once your table is ready (wait time is usually 1 hour). The menu only has a few items and it seems like the pork stew is the most popular. The portions are huge enough to share with 3-4 people. My party of 3 ordered the fish cake stew and the pork stew and we barely ate half of it. We also got the lemonade soju mixed drink. It was sweet and refreshing. It's a fun place to grab drinks and some food.

I viewed " 小红书" app, and blogger said that Daebal House's food is Great ! w(゚゚)w Then I invite my friend to try out the location。 I have to said that when we dine-in, the inside surrounding was really surprising me because it was like a Pub with old disco music around us。Next we ordered the Chicken Gizzards , they are crispy and chewy. We think these Gizzards are good dish goes with beer , you know 。(⁎⁍⁍⁎)。 The Rib bone volcano was Magnificent!w(゚゚)w、The Rib bones are tender and good with spicy sauce 。。For the service , They all friendly and nice to listen costumers , But one thing is upset me because we can't finish the big portion of Rib bones , try to ask for To-Go box , save some for family 。But they give us plastic bags to pack rib bones with sauce ? Come on ! It make me feel like " What " ? Anyway is great food and I enjoy the music together!(・・)ノ

    Pork belly sprouts delicious!!

The food was awesome the customer service is top notch and the ambiance is nice and cozy a business I will support all the time I go and visit. They were showing the baseball game there and the menu of food items is awesome and you have a lot to choose from.

Daebal House was such a great experience for me -- I've been wanting to try this place out for the longest time after seeing it on people's stories and was finally able to check this place out! We visited on a Saturday night and when we went in around 11pm, the place was pretty packed. Also worth noting that this place is TINY. It can seat maybe 7-8 parties total, but it definitely has the vibes of those 90's pochas in Korea, and I like the fact that it's super lowkey and not as crowded as places like Hanshin or Glam. There's some posters and decor that make it feel like a bar which is nice. We got sat and we decided to order the salmon platter, chicken kalgooksoo and sea snail salad. The salmon platter was $29.99 and the chicken kalgooksoo was $39.99. There was also an option for chicken kalgooksoo which came with two chickens which was $49.99, but because we were getting drinks, we thought the smaller portion would be enough. They serve some Korean snacks, along with cucumers and carrots as basic appetizers and we also ordered some drinks as well. Our food came out relatively quickly. Here is the review of each food: - Salmon Platter: This was so good! Serve on top of a wrapped bowl of ice, this $29.99 platter is really yummy and it's fermented in some sauce because there was definitely a light flavor in that salmon. They serve it with some onions and wasabi and a lemon wedge and it's a great little appetizer! - Chicken Kalgooksu: This is definitely one of their signature dishes and it's a MUST-GET. Served in a HUGE pot, they serve the soup -- it's a white broth which is super rich and gets richer once cooked, and they serve the kalgooksu noodles on the side. Once you add it in, the broth gets thicker from the flour and my-oh-my -- it's just so great. We ended up ordering extra noodles and they also give complimentary broth refills as well! - Sea Snail Salad: This was also extremely good. From what I've tasted, it looked like they were using real sea snails vs. canned ones, which made it even more impressive. The flavoring of the seasoning was GREAT - our server did tell us it was a little bit spicy so we asked her to tone it down a notch with the spice and it was perfect! They, however, don't have noodles with their sea snail salad but it was still great! Save up on the carbs. Everything was perfect about Daebal's House -- from the ambiance to the food to the service... Our server was so nice and she made sure we were taken care of the entire night. I love the fact that it's lowkey so when you want to drink and not really be seen -- this is the place to go. I'm so glad I was able to check this place out and I will DEFINITELY return!

Food and service is always consistent. Large portions so bring a 2-3 people with you! The restaurant is small so I recommend calling ahead of time.

A unique 90's Korean Pocha Bar. This place is really small and packed w/ people. Large portions and food is outstanding! Service, food, and vibe 5/5 This place is definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend if you haven't been visited.

The moment you walk in it is obvious that you've discovered a hidden gem. The hot pot, rice balls, and pork belly bean sprouts were all so delicious. Can't wait to come back and try everything on this menu!

    Whole chicken noodle soup

Found a new, good Korean restaurant/pocha at Peachtree Ind Blvd! The serving size of their main menus are big enough to share with 2~3 people. My family and I ordered a whole chicken noodle soup, and we left the restaurant without any room in our bellies lol! And of course, you can't go wrong with a friendly service. :) I will return to this restaurant again soon to try other food they have!

Delicious food! I really enjoyed trying out this fantastic establishment. The owner (I'm assuming) and his daughter forgive me if I'm incorrect, we're so kind and welcoming. When I first arrived the young lady at the counter asked me if I was there for wings :). I know she meant nothing by it because they do have a sign that says "wings" outside. As soon as she found out I was there for hotpot she was excited. She kindly explained the menu to myself and my date. She also provided recommendations and I am so happy I chose to go with what she recommended. We enjoyed a large hot delicious pot of Korean army soup. It was made with love for sure. The flavor is outstanding, the heat is spicy so if you can't handle spice beware. I enjoyed the not so fancy feel and the amine on the tv really topped it off. When we were leaving the cook/owner kindly made me a Togo bag of a little of the soup that was left. The hospitality here is amazing can't wait to go back.

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

The good parts didn't outweigh the not-so-good for me. 1. Located on the 9th floor of The Westin, BUT, parking is mad affordable, which is a big relief as usually hotel rooftops have a static valet parking fee for $25 or more. There is a garage right in front of the entrance and its 5 bucks for up to 4 hours. 2. Views - decent enough for the 9th floor, but mostly overlooks trees and some highways. There isn't much to actually look at as far as a skyline. I was here in the daytime though, maybe at night with whatever city lights coming in, it may be a lil more charming. 3. Ambience - the inside was really nice, the tables were big and seating was comfy, a combo of cushioned chairs and velvety booths or couches. nice decor, and the outside portion of the rooftop also seemed very spacious, with a big main area as well as seating & a few more tables down the side of the building. I went during the yacht rock brunch period, so there was a live DJ spinning old hits from the 70s/80s. the music was at a cool volume, not so loud that you can't hear anyone speak, but not too low like background music - loud enough that you feel like its okay to vibe out. 4. Food & Service - this is where it fell apart for me. when i was seated, it took about 15-20 minutes for my waitress to come and ask me what i wanted to drink. when she finally did, i realized this same woman had walked past me several times before, on the way to do nothing in particular. she didn't introduce herself but was polite. she brought out my coffee and took my order, it took an hour for my food to come out. and the place wasn't crowded. only 2 couples sitting outside and about 40% capacity ithe indoor section where I was. and the food was subpar. it all came out hot, BUT. chicken sausage was hard to bite because casing was burnt and tough. eggs were cooked with so much butter it just tasted like i was eating fluffy butter. biscuit was dry and couldn't possibly be homemade. 'parmesan potatoes' had a few sad dried dots of cheese and parsley but no seasoning whatsoever. i forced myself to eat about half. I live far from Duluth, so really no reason to come back. Maybe a nighttime hang with drinks only, on the outdoor terrace would be a slightly better experience. But I don't have to find out.

I was trying to find something close to my work, since my gf suggested Mexican, and this location seemed like a hole-in-the-wall. It sits off Medlock Bridge Rd, right near Abbott's Bridge. Tons of parking but a super busy parking lot. I was almost worried when I pulled up and thought it might be upscale. Prices here are semi-steep. We ordered a Margarona, Coconut Rita and two entrees and the bill (with my tip added) was $84. 1 star bump down because of that. Cantina pricing in full effect here. Our service was great and we did the outdoor seating (high top) over looking the parking lot. Not ideal but it was comfy and I liked the lighting. The inside is also really nice. My Margaona wasn't as big as I normally expect when I order these from other places BUT it was certainly stacked with alcohol.
