We had a great first experience at Bottles & Bones and will definitely be back. Our family of four started with three appetizers: the lobster morsels, crab cake, and meatballs. All three were excellent and a great way to start the meal. For our entrees, we had steak and chicken piccata, and everything was prepared well and was very good quality. The sides we ordered (french fries, mashed potato, and bake potato) were top notch. The service was excellent throughout the evening. The staff was attentive, friendly, and did a great job making the experience feel upscale without being overly formal or pretentious. The atmosphere strikes a really nice balance and makes it a great spot for a nice dinner without feeling stuffy. Pricing was about what we expected for this type of restaurant, and we felt the overall experience matched it. Great food, great service, and a very enjoyable evening. The prices were so outrageously high I started wondering if I was accidentally buying shares in the restaurant instead of ordering a steak. Then, before I could even process the emotional damage, I noticed they had already slapped an automatic tip on the receipt. Bold move. Usually people wait until after they've earned it. I would give a better tip at Texas Roadhouse, a real American Dining. The steak arrived looking like it had lost a fight with the shrink ray from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. I've seen bigger samples at Costco. It was somehow both tiny and salty as shit, which is an impressive achievement in all the wrong ways. The mac and cheese tasted like someone whispered the words "cheddar" and "seasoning" into the kitchen and called it a day. I've had more flavorful ice cubes. At one point I looked down at my plate and genuinely wondered if this was the kids' menu portion by mistake. As we departed this fine establishment, I felt as though the restaurant had not merely emptied my wallet, but reached into my very soul and repossessed my financial future. My pocket had a hole in it by the time I left, my stomach was disappointed, and my dad deserved an apology letter from the chef. If Shakespeare himself had dined here, Hamlet would've been five acts of him debating whether "to eat, or not to eat." Save your money, grill a steak at home, and season your mac and cheese with literally anything. In the square of Sauwnee, easy to get too. Good parking. Started with drinks and ordered the garlic bread for the table. Ordered a spicy tequila drink that was blackened with charcoal. Very good drink. Ordered the chopped salad, lobster bisque, sweet potatos, Brussels sprouts and the delmonico ribeye to share. The salad was very good. Bisque was rich and had a good bit of lobster. Didn't like the sour cream in the soup due to too much acid in the soup. The steak was cooked to perfection. Sides were also very good. My only roque was the cut of meat was very fatty. After dinner went into the lounge for a night cap and to listen to the piano player. Steve Lee is excellent. A nit- the birthday cake they gave us was small. How do you ruin Chilean sea bass? Come here to find out. It got an Asian treatment covered in a sauce so salty that it was gag-inducing. Supposed to be served with bok choy. Kitchen ran out and just decided to sub it (without informing us first) with broccolini soaked in a pool of soy sauce at the bottom of the plate. The ravioli I had was so over-cooked that even the steak knife had a hard time cutting through it and again the salt was used too liberally on this dish as well. At this price point I was expecting an excellent steak. I ordered the spinalis and the steak was very tough and not tender. The sweet potato soufflé tasted like a can. The brussel sprouts were hard and had a vinegary taste. I'm comparing this restaurant to Frankie's and there is no comparison. I don't believe I will be back. This was definitely not worth the money that I paid. I was very disappointed in my food. However my bartender was great and my drink was good. They also charge a 3% credit card fee. read more

An unadvertised, 20% tip added for holidays, which they don't tell you till the bring the check. The steak was not very good-had no sear on it and my son's NY strip was very salty tasting. B&B Bottles and Bones is my new favorite steak house. I have been a number of times last night with a friend and his girlfriend for his birthday. We sat at the beautiful bar and were extremely well taken care of by Adelaide. Had wonderful well priced bottle of Caymus special select! They also have terrific bottle I had last time Faust only $90. They made a wonderful seafood spread the best part was the lobster bites! Also we had dinner loved the bone in filet and the Spinalis (a regular menu item!!! THE, crème brûlée and chocolate espresso martinis were perfect according to my friend Jeremy. I also recently took my entire staff there for my birthday. The ambiance of this place was perfect for my birthday celebration. It was cozy, but definitely an upscale feel. The piano on the bar side was a nice touch. The service of our waitress and wine person was on point with suggestions (it was our first time) and removing of used plates and utensils between courses. The spinach dip was like no other I have tasted! I would LOVE the recipe as I could truly eat it everyday. Portions were good sized. Even though steak is probably what they are known for, their seafood and lamb options are what we had and we were very pleased. The cheesecake was very rich and delicious! Great ambivalence and service. Friday night we went, they have a band so couldn't sit at the bar side. Really want to like this place but the food and cocktails are not there. Food isn't bad and steaks are good then again if you mess up steak at a steakhouse you ain't staying open for long. The fritto misto was good appetizer perfect for sharing. The wedge salad is under rated ask them to split it for two it's good and plenty. The chicken came with bone in and it's not evident in the menu and it is a pain to cut up and this isn't the place to really eat with your hands. Cannot recommend this at all. I can recommend the seafood trio perfect for sharing but way over priced for the portions. But it's a fancy place so expected. The cocktails were awful. We got a sidecar which was too strong on the lemon and tasted disjointed. The dirty martini was so bad we sent it back. Nasty. But they were kind enough not to charge us for it. Standard cocktails are usually same ingredients every bar and same formula so hard to screw up but maybe they can't do standard drinks here. so we got a coal miners daughter one of their signature drinks and it wasn't much better. Everything tastes like they forgot to stir it meaning the portions are off and lack of care. Avoid the drinks here. read more

Let's get into it. - It's a great spot - we had not been out that way, but tucked into a live/play type of area, it was very nice - formal-ish but not stuffy, very nice dining room, and a HUGE bar next to it. We were six for dinner. - Reservations were easy - required a credit card, but I get that. No problem - They were cool about bringing wine - 25 dollar corkage, not outrageous - right up the middle. - Welcome was great - it's busy but the host stand was pleasant and funny. They had our table ready Service was great - in spite of them being very busy. We had a couple servers and they all clearly work in teams, which is great. - Drinks were excellent - the bar service is great. Good cocktails, good selection. - They decanted our wine, which was nice. Appetizers were great - Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters Rockefeller, Calamari was TOP NOTCH. We had clams in a broth and bread - this was OK - great flavor but no broth - hard to dunk the bread if it's dry. They can do better here. Salads were very nice Steaks, Fish and sides were all very high quality (Very similar in quality to other top steak houses in ATL). Prices were at that level too. You get what you pay for. Desert was nice - we had some birthdays so they did a good job. We exited to the bar which was VERY Lively - clearly this is a neighborhood spot and the bartenders were great. The atmosphere here is always upscale and refined without being pretentious. The service was absolutely impeccable, and attended to our needs. The appetizers were good, with flavorful lamb chops and delightfully moist and tender fried lobster bites. The main course was the Chilean sea bass and the surf and turf (6 oz filet and a lobster tail). They were both cooked to perfection. Our food came out just under warm but I think that was due to the crowd for NYE. The server gladly warmed our plates and our entrees were perfect. The potato croquettes were perfect. The brussel sprouts were a little oily and overdone. I think my wife and I a pretty biased because we make great Brussel sprouts. The key lime pie was a good finish to the meal, although my post-meal coffee didn't come until I was almost done with dessert. We visited for my husband's birthday and we had a great time. It was so easy to make reservations online. As soon as we walked in the staff was so helpful! Our server Michael M was very attentive and gave us great service. We ordered wine and cocktails for starters. The drinks were amazing and refreshing. For our entree we ordered the Ashley farm roasted chicken with crispy potatoes, green beans, and rosemary garlic sauce. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy. I liked the slight crispiness of the skin. The potatoes and green beans were cooked perfectly. The rosemary garlic sauce was delicious as well. The ambience was nice. First time visit for Valentine's Day and I wasn't impressed. We had to use a specific Valentine's Day menu where you were given a set cost for your meal ($125/each) and a 20% tip added to it. Not good. We saw at least 4 couples get seated and then up and leave, and I'm guessing the set price, plus the required 20% tip had something to do with it. They also added upcharges to some of the items despite the supposedly set cost, which doesn't make sense. Customers look at menus before they go to restaurants nowadays, so changing the menu on holidays seems dumb and not very customer-friendly. Anyway, the food was okay, though my wife thought the calamari was exceptional. My steak was a bit bland, as was my salad. And for the money, my wife thought the portions were on the small side. Even the desserts were mid, at best. The service was high-end feeling though, and everyone was very helpful and pleasant, so that's a plus. The ambiance and overall aesthetic of B&B were fine, but we've experienced better. Overall, I doubt I'd give Bottles and Bones another try despite living 5 minutes away, I'd rather head over to Frankie's in Duluth and eat superior food for the same price. When you're spending over $300 for a meal, I'd like to leave feeling satisfied. I don't think that's too much to ask. read more

Lasts nights dinner was here , A co worker of mine recommended this restaurant, so i decided to give it a try , we got there around 7:30 me an my party of 3 which was my Bestfriend and my one year old kid . We arrived and was told it's kind of a wait that we will not be seated till 8:15 and that they will text us when the table is ready , it ended up being 8:30 by time it was our turn to sit so we waited a good while from 7:30 to 8:30 . The wait got even more as we were seated it took a while to ask us if we wanted a drink then even longer to order . They do a steak presentation before you order, and they also do a presentation at the end for dessert. The food was OK but not worth the wait down below is photos of what we had . Ps : I don't recommend this as a kid friendly restaurant they have a booster seat, but no highchair. The space is kind of tight with the booster seat and you can use it in a booth I would assume not on a regular chair. The ambience was OK. They had very nice chandeliers in the ceiling. We had a great evening celebrating friendship and my bday with the ladies night happy hour. We tried the shrimp and fries, fish and chips and the lobster roll. I think the Parmesan fries were the star of the show which we ate so no pic. The live music was just the right vibe for wind down Wednesday. SUWANNE, GA LOCATION What was meant to be a romantic Valentine's evening with my husband and two other ouples turned into one of the most disappointing dining experiences we have ever endured. We made our reservations well in advance, yet at no point was it advertised - on the website or anywhere else that only a limited Valentine's Day menu would be offered at a fixed price of $140.00 per person. That lack of transparency immediately set the tone for the night. A steakhouse should pride itself on quality, selection, and excellence. Instead, we were met with a restricted menu that was shockingly underwhelming for such a premium price. The selection felt uninspired and poorly curated a basic money grab, completely unworthy of the cost. First, let's start with the obvious.... Our reservation was for 7:30p.m., yet the most basic food item did not arrive at our table until 10:03p.m. Waiting over two and a half hours for salad. Mind you this is Valentine's Day!!!! No less, just unacceptable, for ANY establishment claiming to offer fine dining. I ultimately chose not to eat at all because there was nothing on the menu that I wanted compared to their actual menu. The manager once called over made it crystal clear that he will not alter the menu in any kind of way and nor is he willing to be flexible. The manager was unwilling to accommodate the most simplest request. His dismissive attitude and rude demeanor only amplified the frustration at our table. Therefore, I decided that I did not want to eat at this point. To make matters worse, the restaurant RAN OUT OF ITEM'S ON THEIR OWN MENU. Yet!!! The price remained the same and you had to share appetizers and sides. So, one appetizer and one side... Same cost per person. My husband's bill was $250.00 dollars for cold Seabass, cold mash potatoes , salad and soup, one Heineken, one glass of wine. For that price per person, the quality, service, and experience should have been impeccable. Instead, it felt disorganized and poorly executed. Staff members were talking loudly over guests food, bringing the wrong items to each persons tables. This diminished any sense of refinement or professionalism. A true steakhouse delivers excellence in service, quality, and ambiance-especially on a major holiday or romatic day such as Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, this establishment failed on all fronts. First impressions matter... The pricing exceeded that of well-known fine dining establishments, yet the experience did not come close to the standard of places like H&W Steakhouse or places like Capital Grille. This was not just disappointing- it was deeply frustrating. For a local business, this was a missed opportunity to shine. None of us by the end of the night will go back to such a place. FIRST IMPRESSIONS.... MATTER & IT CAN NOT BE A MONEY GRAB JUST BECAUSE IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY WITH LOW SERVICE. I strongly advise other's to dine somewhere else. A steakhouse should embody quality and clsss. Sadly, this does not. Also, to the owner of such a place.... I would strongly advise for you to be present at your establoshment on major day's. From the cooks in the back, laughing and joking over food while customers have been waiting for over two hours just for a salad..... That is totally UNPROFESSIONAL. First, I wasn't sure how many stars to rate this. The food was excellent and the decor and atmosphere was beautiful. There were 6 of us and we had a reservation. We had finished our dinner and were having coffee while we waited for the waitress to return with our credit cards. The receptionist came to our table and told us we needed to leave as they had other people waiting for tables. I felt it very rude the way we were told. Mind you, mine and my husband's bill was $258 and I am sure the other 2 couples had larger bills as they ordered a lot more than we did. The chef not only okayed me substituting the mashed sweet potatoes for extra white esparagus ( im not a potato fan and sweet potatoes are my least fav)... he also sent us a complimentary dessert for our 25th anniversary. Our meal was extremely good and we dine out alot. The decor and vibe were upscale elegant. Great place for date night. So we had a large party. In the summer. In the private room. The room was balmy to say the least. There was some type of issue with the air balance, ac wasn't working, or perhaps someone was incubating a small batch of turtle eggs. I'm not sure. What I do know is I was about to explode the whole time we were there. Onto the food... The roasted beets were not a fave. They made the room smell odd. The calamari was good and tasted fresh. My million dollar steak was overcooked initially, though they corrected it and made it perfectly the second time around. The chocolate cake was MOOIIIIIIIST. Service was great. I just didn't much care for the selections. Parking was easy. Bring a box fan or something. Maybe you can pop it in the window and get some air moving if you're in the punishment room. read more

So, the girlfriend and I met another couple that we hang with all the time to help us celebrate our anniversary. We had driven by this place several times but never got a chance to stop in and grab a bite to eat but today was the day. GOOD LAWD! This place is absolutely amazing. We were seated in Diana's section. Let me tell you... Diana rocked! She was very well versed with the menu, made suggestions, and never missed a beat when it came to our needs. My first order of business was to order an adult beverage as I was truly celebrating our anniversary. The girlfriend ordered a Lemon Drop Martini, and I ordered a smoked Old Fashion. Our friends ordered Sangria and a Smoked Old Fashion as well. For appetizers, we ordered Oysters on the Half Shell, Fritto Misto (Calamari), and B&B Meatballs. The only disappointing thing on this day was that they had run out of oysters. I absolutely love oysters and was going to order another round, but the manager told us they were out. We were also shorted one oyster and the manager didn't hesitate to make it right since it wasn't a complete dozen. For dinner, we ordered pretty much the same thing which was the specialty steak cuts for two. We went with the 32oz Tomahawk Ribeye, and added the lobster tails, with a side of Roasted Brussel Sprouts and White Macaroni and Cheese topped with lobster. What was really a nice gesture, a couple next to us ordered a round of drinks for our table, and of course, we sent a round over to them as well. I felt bad because I didn't realize the nice lady was pregnant until she stood up. I hope they realized it was a gesture and I didn't mean any harm. It was nice to see people are still willing to be nice. It was no surprise as the atmosphere in this place is very warm, friendly and promotes relaxation. The manager came over to check on us several times to make sure we were doing okay. That's a nice gesture as well. My only con about this evening was the dessert. I ordered Key Lime pie, and it had an aftertaste like cough syrup. It had a bitter taste to it. I'm hoping the chef just had a bad day, but I won't be ordering that again. The only saving grace was they brought us the chef's special cheesecake for our anniversary. The dessert won't prevent us from visiting again. In fact, we are looking forward to visiting again because they have live music every day except for Sunday and Monday. Of course, we visited on Sunday so no live music for us. Another impressive thing was the branded knives... what a nice touch. Kudos to the staff. It was an amazing experience and can't wait to visit in the near future.
