I was eager to try this new addition to Suwanee. The decor is sleek and the indoor lit tree is vibrant. The staff was very welcoming and our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of the newest menu. She suggested some items for us to try and we started with the samosas. They were accompanied by a sweet red sauce and a tangy green sauce. Unfortunately they were dense and missed the light flaky goodness I was hoping for. Next up was the chili garlic shrimp and brussels. No complaints other than it is extremely small. For my entree I ordered the recommended glazed salmon dish with Brussels and aromatic rice. The salmon was cooked a little "over" but it was well seasoned. The Brussels lacked flavor but the rice was delicious. My experience was just "OK" but I will give Moringa another chance. read more

Tried brunch with my wife over the weekend. Disappointed that the extensive menu posted on the website is not available for brunch - the items look intriguing. There is a limited, more traditional brunch menu. Overall, the food was tasty. Shrimp and grits - I would have preferred more lemony flavor but nonetheless, delicious. Chicken and waffles - Wonderfully Indian-spiced chicken with waffles that could have been a little more crispy. Based on food alone, I would have given this place four stars - but they need to work on some things. This is a new restaurant and they need a little more time to get their sea legs. The wait process for customers coming in to the restaurant is slow. They can also work on other basic things such as having full-sized napkins during the meal (instead of small bar napkins), having the drinks come out faster, or having bread while one waits for the entrees to come out. The space is large and relaxing with tables nicely spread out - not too crowded. There was even live music coming from the patio. I have hope they can get the restaurant service-related "stuff" in place. The food is wonderful and the ambiance of the place is relaxing and enjoyable. I will be back to check on them ... read more

The restaurant is very clean, and very comfortable for us to sit in for Lunch. Our Server's demeanor is friendly, always with a smile. We ordered Lamb Chop, Butter Chicken and Garlic Nann; for drinks, my husband had a beer, and I had Lemonade. The beer is an Indian brand, Taj Mahal, a lager beer, quite descent; my lemonade is not too sweet nor sour, only wished it came chillled and colder. The food came quickly, the lamb chop came in sizzling hot on an iron platter, well done yet soft meat with a good spicy paste sauce. The coleslaw that came with was different; but not to our taste. The Butter Chicken came in a red thick paste but not spicy (I asked for better than mild), and went very well with the Nann bread. The chicken itself were again a bit too soft for my taste. The server wore gloves to serve, and I notice they didn't put in too much salt in their dishes, which is a plus for me, but maybe a bit brand for other taste buds! read more

We had dined here when it was operated by the former manager/operator and rated them a well-deserved 5 stars. The menu was completely different from before, but we decided to try the new offerings with open minds. We ordered the salmon and what was shown to be a 20oz Porterhouse steak. The salmon needed flavor and the steak... well... it wasn't a Porterhouse, and it was nearer to 14oz! Disappointing indeed. When we asked for the chef, he immediately acknowledged the switch and discounted our $48 plate by 50%, but I sensed that he knew all along. Disappointing. We were going to have after dinner coffee, but they didn't have decaf. Again disappointing. The ambiance was dark and cold. The alcohol came after the appetizers, no smile, no communication, no eye contact it's a shame to we picked Indian restaurant being an Indian. check your bill, we paid over $60 in tip for 2 plus hr service to restaurant owners not a typical hourly wage employee. read more

This is a new restaurant in Suwanee a friend and I decided to try. We came in on a Wednesday evening without making a reservation and had no issues getting a table. The host was very friendly and sat us right away. Our server, Antonio, was super knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make great decisions on what to order. We stuck to apps and drinks - and the shrimp & brussels with sweet chili glaze is the BEST! Antonio checked on us multiple times, made sure our water glasses were full and did not make us feel rushed at all. Zach, the bartender, made phenomenal old fashions for us-and even came to check personally to make sure we were enjoying them. The manager checked on us to make sure all was up to our expectations as well. They gifted us with a complementary banana pudding that was the best I've ever tasted - Antonio told me it was a chef specialty. All in all, great food, great experience, and we will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu! read more

A friend had heard good things about this restaurant. It was a special day for him, so we decided to give it a try. It was a Tuesday evening around 6:30, it was not overly crowded, and we were seating quickly. Our server came over and took drink orders, 1 beer and 2 wine, and brought us water. As she left, we noticed one of the glasses had a big chip. Several minutes later she returned to let us know the beer ordered was out of stock, no wine delivered. She took the broken glass, and a different beer was ordered. After a longer wait, she returned to the table with another water and told us the second beer ordered was warm, still no wine. She apologized and said the bartenders were in the kitchen, you could see at least 2 at the bar. So, we ordered the only beer remaining in the selections of bottles. At this time, she asked if we would like to order appetizers and we did, we also asked about the wine that had been ordered earlier, she said she would be right back. During our last extended wait, we discussed how long we were going to give it. Once we hit the 30-minute mark with no drinks, we decided to leave. As we were leaving the server walked up with a beer, still no wine. We let her know we were leaving, we were very polite about it, not wanting to cause a scene. She said the appetizers would be ready in a few more minutes. We apologized and said it was getting late, and we were hungry and leaving. It was a very disappointing experience. I do not often leave negative reviews but thought about it a felt the owner or manager needed to know. Had dinner at this restaurant tonight-first time here. We had burger, pork chop dinner, and kid's menu noodles. Grandson did not care for noodles, but otherwise it was an amazing meal. We enjoyed the entire meal and setting with live music. We did have a slight problem with the bill. I think the waitress needed to give more detail regarding our order issue. Absolutely Disgraceful Experience on Mother's Day I had a 3:00 PM reservation for Mother's Day, made well in advance, only to show up and be turned away at the door with no call, no text, and not a shred of courtesy. The staff told us they were backed up and we'd have to wait another THREE HOURS -- on a day when most restaurants are fully booked. We were left scrambling, with nowhere to eat, and our Mother's Day plans completely ruined. To make matters worse, the manager/owner was unapologetic, rude, and dismissive. No attempt to make things right, no accountability -- just a cold "you'll have to wait, or 45 minutes I can do " with an attitude that made it clear they didn't care at all about their guests. This kind of behavior is beyond unprofessional -- it's disrespectful. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. If you're considering this place for a special occasion -- don't. They don't value reservations, your time, or your business. I would give this restaurant Zero stars if I could. The most ridiculous part is that the restaurant is not even busy, it's only half full. read more

They ruined Mother's Day. I scheduled a reservation several days earlier and received email confirmation. Upon showing up with my wife ahead of time, the manager eventually informed us that they would not be able to honor my reservation. I would have felt better if they told me there would be a delay, but I was not prepared for a denial. A departing family shared that the food was great but the service was slow. Also, it appeared more people were awaiting food than eating food. We watched from the parking lot as they ruined Mother's Day for several couples and families. If they knew they were overbooked, they could have emailed me so that I could make other arrangements. Waiter asked one person at a time for their order, then brought one item at a time. It took too much time to order appetizers and longer for them to arrive. After I ordered Game Hen, it took nearly 30 minutes for the manager to tell me they were out. I reordered and again it took a long time for it to be served. I ordered 2 dry, dirty, straight up martinis, when I got my check I was charged for Tito's I did not order top shelf, I assumed I'd be charged for House Vodka.Also one of the persons with the group's order was on my check(server didn't ask who would be on which check) The tip was automatically added. I had not intended to leave a tip. I tip according to GOOD service. BTW there were other customers in the room who did not get what they ordered but a substitute. Looked at the yelp reviews and were a bit wary, but the menu looked good so we decided to try it. We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered and promptly seated. Restaurant was fairly busy but not crazy. Our server got our water and drink orders promptly. Then we ordered a salad to share (grilled peach and burrata--yum!) and our entrees. Everything came out looking and tasting so good. We were really pleased. The bartender came over to see what we thought of the drinks and we were able to tell him they were excellent. Ordered dessert (limoncello cake) and this was also delicious. Our water glasses were never less than 1/2 full and each person we encountered was focused on us having a good experience.
