    Lumberjack

If you are hungry this is a place for you. We each had the lumberjack and it was too much for one person. We also tried the mini biscuits with cream. ALL the Food was delicious, waitress was awesome!! Cups for coffee were too big, 16oz. The coffee is cold before you can drink it. Our waitress was so good she heated us another cup prior to filling it with coffee which did help. Truly a 4.5 star due to coffee cup size.

Amazing place! The atmosphere is cool and relaxing, extremely friendly staff! The food was 10/10! I also enjoyed the Vanilla Latte it was very nice! Camden was my server and she's excellent thanks for being so kind. you won't find a better place for breakfast, brunch in this area!

Arrive hungry! You will leave very full! I got the Lumberjack Breakfast, and it's a protein smorgasbord!! This place is very popular, even on a weekday. We were seated quickly and our server was very prompt. Since I am not working, I had the Breakfast Old Fashioned...very yummy!!

We arrived just before Sunday brunch rush hour (around 10.30am) and were seated immediately inside the dining room. Waiter took our order swiftly. Our foods and drinks came in timely manner. The bread of my avocado toast was crunchy and not soggy. My kids enjoyed their respective orders: burrito and French toast along with their drinks.

Always a great place to bring a friend. I love how they serve their food on boards. They are always Attentive and the place is clean. And they give you blankets during the cold season if you're sitting outside which is cute.

Rushing is one of my favorite cafes, and I regularly visit both of the current locations, Sugar Hill and Johns Creek. Though, this review is specifically regarding the Barista Class they are offering through Eventbrite. They offer up to 6 spots, and there were 3 of us in my class. My sister and I did it as a birthday gift, plus another solo guest. Mattie, the owner and creator of the Business Plan, did an amazing job teaching us about history of coffee, tastings, types of drinks, etc. Then we each got to practice making different types of drinks, with more tastings, and even practicing latte art. We also left with a mug, sample of coffee and certificate! I highly recommend this hands-on experience. We did it on a Thursday night and my only suggestion would be to see if it can be on a Friday night or Saturday night. No matter what, it was totally worth it!

We had a great time at brunch here during my visit to Atlanta area a couple of weeks ago. The food was amazing and who knew there was such a thing as breakfast cocktails! I wish we had one of these here in Austin. The service was great and presentation of all the food and teas/coffees was really pretty & cool! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and even though it was pretty busy, we could still mostly hear each other speak. ;-)

Living in Sugar Hill isn't bad at all. I live near the E-Center, and I've gotten so spoiled! We're just about five minutes from Rushing Company Co., our go-to spot for breakfast and brunch. Walking in there feels like stepping into Europe--the atmosphere, the food, and the customer service are all incredible. It's our little weekend ritual to have breakfast there with my love, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Met some friends for girls brunch and I was really excited to try Rushing! Let's start with bottomless mimosas for $25. And they do mean bottomless (in your 2hr table limit). They have a WIDE variety of flavors ranging from classic OJ to lavender and peach and even a festive flavor depending on the season. For food I ordered the turkey BLT. To be honest the turkey tasted/looked not super great, but the bread and the bacon were really delicious. I chose grits as my side which were also really good. Our server was super nice and patient with our many mimosa orders and she checked on us regularly which I appreciate especially when a "bottomless" item is offered. The portions are large and there's lots to choose from if you have differing tastebuds in your party. The place is pretty small so it's not the best situation for large groups.

Enjoyed our brunch. The drinks and the food were both delicious. Hubby got the tasted marshmallow hot chocolate, which was pretty good but the description was listed incorrectly (no graham cracker topping). It was carried over from their Christmas menu for the winter menu. My drip coffee was pretty good. I enjoyed my egg and cheese biscuit. It was a good size and soft & flaky. Hubby's lumberjack plate was huge with a ton of meat. I tried the grits and they were really good. Our server was great.

This place is a decent brunch spot! 9 times out of 10 there will always be a wait time on a weekend. The wait time can very with the sugar hill events. It's small and homey, and have a good selection of food items and drinks to pick from. The waitstaff is always good when we go. The coffee is wonderful as the beans come from cloud land canyon. The food was fresh and pretty yummy. A great place for brunch, friends and good conversations.

The best breakfast I've ever had! So many great things on the menu and had to ask the waitress which I should get and she did not disappoint! The cafe is super cute with plenty of outdoor seating as well!

"There's something magical about rooftops. You feel like you're in 'Mary Poppins."…read moreGeorge Clarke There really is something special about being on a rooftop on a perfect summer evening, and it's great to have it right in downtown Sugar Hill. I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.

The sign would advise they open at 5, but doors wouldn't open until nearly an hour later. They would frequently do grocery runs to Walmart then charge you the same amount for items such as wings that were clearly different and finally arrived right before they close the lounge. So you literally had to box them, then pay your bill to close..... With that said, The recent visit I made last week was MUCH better. Decor of this locale is real loungy and sleek. Nice ambiance for a Gwinnett experience...The staff is very pleasant, and the Siracha wings are amazing!!! Presentation was so simple but nice... My friend got another chicken dish, that kinda looked like a Cordon Bleu, and that was quite tasty as well. Drinks are fair, (tiny portions with ice), and the music is good. Mix of African/Reggae/HipHop. In all, I recommend this place if the consistency stays like this....but I had to be honest about my previous experiences.

The restaurant wasn't overly crowded -- only a few tables occupied and a handful of people at the bar -- but service was extremely slow from the start. It took about 10 minutes for our server to greet us, and another 10 minutes just to receive waters after ordering them. My boyfriend and I ordered drinks (a Raspberry Collins and a Tropicalia), along with a pretzel for the table. The pretzel was brought out by another server, and when I asked for plates, they never returned with them. I then asked our server for plates, but they still never came. Eventually, I had to ask the host to find our server, and he responded that he would "try." When our server finally came back, I had to ask for plates a third time. Our friend was finally able to order his mixed drink, and we went ahead and ordered our meals as well. The food took nearly an hour to come out, despite the restaurant having very few tables at that point. My boyfriend ordered the Nashville hot chicken, which was extremely oily and lacked flavor. I had the hibachi bowl, which was decent. Before the food arrived, I ordered another Raspberry Collins and more water, which took about 15 minutes and again was not delivered by our server. The one bright spot of the evening was the bartender -- I didn't catch her name, but she was wearing a red Falcons shirt. She personally brought my drink to the table, promptly brought us waters when asked, and even cleaned up our table. Major props to her professionalism and attentiveness, because she was the only person who made us feel taken care of. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning. Save your time and money and try somewhere else in downtown Sugar Hill.
