It was our first time here and I had the Lakeside cocktail which was very smooth without being overpowering. Everyone who tasted it also loved it. We had the salmon roll and the mussels for appetizers. My husband had the French onion soup that he said he would come back here just to have the soup, it was so good. For entrees, we had beef strips, scallops, the 1" thick pork chop special with sweet potatoes that was like a perfect soufflé, and flavorful collard greens, which I typically don't like but these were very good. I can't remember the name of the other entree, but it was like a beef roast over mashed potatoes. I'm totally butchering the names of these entrees. The menu is in French with descriptions in English. We had the dessert with bananas, the dessert with exotic fruits and the dessert with chocolate. Everything was excellent in taste, texture, timeliness and presentation. Viviane, who was the owner and explained that she and the food were from the northern part of France, I believe, sang happy birthday in French!
