Find was excellent. Service was good. It was packed, but they got us in and out without feeling rushed.

Some friends of ours invited us to go eat at snooze one Saturday as we had never been there even though we lived close by. Another friend of mine said she tried it and was not impressed so I wasn't sure what to expect. The place was absolutely packed ,however they do take your phone number and tell you that you'll be on the waitlist ...and so we went over to the Mexican restaurant and had some bloody Mary's and then shortly after we received notification that our table was ready. The menu is extensive. It takes a while to get through it, but the choices all sound amazing we ordered quite a few things because we were going to share everything that came to the table. I started with a bloody Mary, which was amazing and everything we tried from the amazing bacon to the egg Benedict and pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. My mouth is watering just talking about it. The staff is always super friendly and always there to fill your coffee or get you a drink. They have excellent recommendations and big surprise on your birthday. You get a free pancake. I'm not sure how they split the tips, but because I don't like the Community tip idea, I always give cash to the person who waited our table I've been back a couple of times since and I will continue to go. Snooze is a well-known chain pretty new to this area, I just discovered it after living here for two years Service is super fast very friendly Greeaaaaat atmosphere inside the restaurant. I highly recommend this place right in the central heart of Buford area and many other restaurants to choose from. BUT, Don't forget about snooze for breakfast. It's Fantastic!! Snooze had been on my list for a while so was happy to stop by this location when I was in the area with some friends! We arrived around 10 for breakfast and it was packed! We were seated quickly and after going through the menu, we decided to go with pancake flights. I went with the strawberry shortcake, banana, and French toast along with a side of hashbrowns. We got our food within 10min of ordering and for the price it was a steal! The strawberry shortcake pancake was super tasty and loved that it wasn't overly sweet. The banana one was not sweet and paired well with the syrup. The French toast slice was also crisp and quite delicious. The side of has browns were cooked perfectly and super crispy! Overall, I really enjoyed this spot since everything tasted so fresh. Our server was also really nice and helped us in making our choices. Joined the waitlist on a Sunday and was seated shortly after arriving (around noon). What we ordered: -kids chocolate pancake w/ a side of chicken sausage (1 came in a side order) -hot chocolate -strawberry shortcake pancakes (2 in an order) w/ a side of bacon (3 pieces) -shrimp & grits bowl -a mimosa -strawberry lemonade alcoholic drink w/ tequila I feel like the food took a little while to come out, but it was so crowded that I'm not surprised, honestly. Everything was delicious. The pancakes were so fluffy, you a can taste the buttermilk. The chicken sausage was great & flavorful. The shrimp & grits (from how I was told) were flavorful and some of the best they've had. It's also great that they weren't swimming in sauce b/c most places will have it swimming in sauce and overpower the dish, but these were not. The service was quick once we got seated and our server was very nice. The only thing I would say is that the alcoholic cocktails tasted more like juice and the food is pricey (the pancakes should have came w/ a side for the price). We used to love Snooze when we lived in Arizona, so we were so excited to see one open nearby--and it didn't disappoint! I've been to the other locations but it was my first time at this location near Mall of GA. I love this location so much more! Much larger space with more room between tables. Food was a lot better here too. Our waiter was so nice and energetic, making the morning a lot livelier. She was fast and checked in regularly to make sure we were doing okay. The food here was a lot less salty than other locations, even the denver omelette which is harder to make less salty with the ham. Hash browns were so crispy! My toddler loved the kids menu french toast sticks. She usually leaves half her plate but she finished most of it here! She's a picky eater, so that's a great sign. read more

This is the third time I've visited this restaurant, and two out of those three visits they have been out of a featured item. Today, they were out of the nuts for the cinnamon pancakes, which was especially disappointing because that's the specific dish I brought my daughter here to try. This is not a reflection on the staff, as they have always been friendly and provide great service. The issue appears to be with inventory management. It's frustrating that before 9:00 a.m. a main ingredient for a featured menu item is already unavailable. If you're familiar with the chain, you know what the place is going to look like and its overall atmosphere. Plus, the menu is also the same as other Snooze locations. There's no unique specials here. But the food itself is still reliably good. The Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes are a crowd pleaser, along with any of the Eggs Benedict varieties. My egg sandwich thing really hit the spot. And the drinks were everything we asked for. Again Mikayla was the "ambassador" that made things go right for us. I ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict, and classifying myself as a foodie, I found this meal to be the worst X 2 breakfast I've ever eaten in my 68 years. The hollandaise sauce was terrible-tasted like mayonnaise. The hashbrown potatoes were suppose to be crispy, but were burnt. I forced myself to eat the meal, because in today's economy, can't just leave $20 on the table. Decided not to complain, the whole place looks really unorganized. Lastly, the restaurant had a person with a table set up in restaurant, soliciting donations for a cause wife donated, lady was on her cell phone to busy to acknowledge or say "thanks." I will note though that the waiting area was us standing outside, so keep that in mind for rainy or chilly days. The pancake on the other hand, I could've saved $6. It was a bit dense for my taste. My other friends had the same feedback about the plain and chocolate chip pancakes, however the protein omelette was a hit! I can't have eggs so I got the only vegan thing on the menu - banana pancakes. They were good but a tad smaller than a short stack at ihop except $13. So if I wanted to add protein to my breakfast it was gonna be $4.50 for one patty. Ridiculous. Would not eat here again. Both myself and my companion noticed an after taste in the fruit. Our waitress was personable and very thoughtful she made sure to give us room between the tables by shifting the tables apart which was very helpful on her part since the tables did seem a bit too close to the others. Unfortunately it took an extremely long amount of time for our food which wouldn't have be an issue if we didn't notice a table of 3 who was seated after us get their food before us . But whey's more unfortunate is we never got an update on our food After 47 minutes until it arrived. Even if after 20/30 min she said hey sorry it's very busy food will be taking a bit just some sort of acknowledgement it felt like she went out of her way to avoid us and not say anything which was disappointing. When our food finally arrived we were very satisfied we ordered double bacon sandwich , pancake flight & Spuds Deluxe. For the most part Everything was delicious . The pancakes were fluffy and tasty though the cinnamon roll pancakes were by far superior to the pineapple upside down and the strawberry short cake . Overall still a good dining experience. read more
