I came here with a friend for burger week 2025 and I was impressed with the inside. I ordered a burger with fries and a spicy margarita. The burger was good but typical. The spicy margarita was on point!!! The staff were super friendly and attentive. What really impressed me was the view we had of the street from our table. Overall it was a good experience and I can't wait to come back.

I came here after work on a Tuesday. The service was fast and not crowded, so we were seated fast. I ordered salmon, rice and vegetables. It was really good and had good flavor. I also tasted my friend's Mexican burger and that was really good but very spicy. The ambience was casual. I'd definitely return.

Day 2 of #GwinnettBurgerWeek at Anejo on the Lawrenceville Square. Their burger is called Mama-Lona! It's seasoned ground chuck, arugula, raw red onions, sweet bacon sauce, crispy bacon, and provolone cheese on a homemade oregano bun. Good burger with nice views and bonus points for a close match to the promo photo.

Service was okay. I liked the "rooftop" patio but feel like there should be a better way for people to come in and enjoy seating without all of the stairs (what if someone was handicapped?) & I don't recall seeing an elevator. Food: My son had the kids cheese quesadilla w/ fries - I think this was tasty and it came out pretty fast. The agua Fresca was so delicious, I wish it was of bigger size. I ordered the steak & guacamole bowl - it came with (2) purple soft shell tortillas but I swapped it out for hard shell. I think this dish was filling but lacked extreme flavor from steak to guac, unfortunately. Next time, I'll try a different menu item - the menu seems like it has a lot to offer.

I've heard mixed reviews about this place and was finally able to try it out myself! I got the sopes and all thought I'm not usually a big fan of the purple tortilla, I will say these were good! I enjoyed the meat that came on them I got 1 pollo 2 asada next time I for sure will only be getting the asada lol not that the pollo wasn't good I'm just more of a asada girl. The martini was good I loved that they don't only offer cocktails with tequila! Our server was very sweet! She was very attentive and prebussed everything for us as we finished! The ambiance is so nice! I will be coming back for a dinner on the patio lol!

This is what you call "A good TIME" This place is a great addition to the already GREAT downtown Lawrenceville area. Anejo is hot and Poppin, the rooftop dinning really elevate things a bit more. The restaurant is beautiful, the drinks are beautiful, the dinning experience was very nice and the food was delicious. Our servers were very efficient and accommodating. Please try the molcajete dish, filled with meats, onions and cactus in this yummy sauce. Parking can look like a problem at first, but check the backside of this building. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Since they've opened we've gone once a month because it's a lovely place. I wouldn't recommend going in a group larger than 10 but more about Anejo! We love their flights, apps and meals. They have amazing servers and bartenders and I can assure you'll always enjoy your meal and drink here.

From start to finish, Añejo delivered an elevated dining experience. The beef tacos were juicy and packed with flavor, the elote was creamy and perfectly seasoned, and the drinks? Next level. We tried the Spicy Mamacita and Sunset DTL--both beautifully crafted and full of personality. The ambiance is stunning, with a romantic vibe that's perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We'll absolutely be back!

I absolutely LOVED this place ! Upscale decor , very impressed with the tile on the ceiling! The food is absolutely amazing! Super authentic tastes very fresh and a wide variety of drink selections to pair off with. I loved the chicharron de ribeye ive never had it and i think its brilliant. The sopes are so delicious! I have never had an amazing sope in a restaurant before in GA . The atmosphere is super fun and our server was amazing! I highly recommend this place ! I think its a good thing they dont serve free chips and salsa it would be a sad thing not to have room for all the scrumptious food options! I will definitely be back!

Anejo is excellent!!! It is a unique gem that Downtown Lawrenceville really needs and I am so glad to see it growing. They opened on New Years Eve so they are still developing vibe, but already it is a great concept with amazing drinks and food. They are coming out with a dessert menu next week. I tried a couple of different cocktails and they were all good. I highly recommend, I think it was called the Sunset DTL (Raspberry flavored) and the Paloma is amazing too. I also got to try the skinny margarita and they use fresh juices so you can tell the difference. Jesus is an excellent bartender! The music was upbeat ambient which is my favorite. Food wise we tried the chicharrons with guacamole, chicken mole, and queso. My coworkers got some tacos and they said the tacos were excellent! I am hoping they fix the signage at the front, because it is hard to see the Anejo sign, but it is located right next to the Alley way and a couple buildings over from Local Republic. Also, Jamie the owner is super nice and easy to talk to. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time here. Jamie also owns both D'Floridians. One is also in downtown lawrenceville and the other one is in Woodstock. Our server Melanie was also excellent and made sure to check on us frequently.

Anejo has quickly become one of my go-to Mexican restaurants in Lawrenceville! Their pastor and steak tacos are absolutely my favorites. On Tuesdays, they have amazing taco and margarita specials--$3 tacos and $8 margaritas--and they never miss. The service is always prompt, and the vibe is consistently great. Highly recommend checking it out!

Añejo is our latest restaurant experience in Mexican Cuisine, and what a great experience it was!!! We came here to celebrate our son's 23rd birthday. The restaurant dining area is situated entirely on the second floor. So if you can score a patio seat that means you will have a rooftop-like view of the Lawrenceville Square, which is especially cool at night. Even cooler, they have live music on the weekends. The food is pricey for Mexican food and so are the drinks. However, my dish was absolutely delicious. For starters we ordered: CHICHARRON DE RIBEYE | $21 Fried ribeye on a fresh bed of guacamole and served with fresh tortillas. Nicely seasoned, but I do wish they would have added something else in addition to the guacamole. (4 stars) CHICKEN FLAUTAS | $10 Not on the dinner menu, but they made them for us nonetheless. Included rice and beans (4 stars) ELOTE | $7 Fresh corn with mayonnaise and queso fresco. Good, but could have been better. (3.5 stars) Our entree's included: RIBEYE TORTA | $13 Topped with beans, lettuce, tomato, queso fresco, avocado, mayonnaise, and jalapeño. (4.5 stars) SOPES | $16 Three homemade fried corn masa sopes topped with your choice of meat, refried beans, cabbage salad, sour cream, quest fresco, and avocado. My wife debated heavily over this dish or the vegetarian tacos. Overall her review of them was "good, but I've had better." (4 stars) ENCHILADAS DE POLLO | $20 Three shredded chicken enchiladas with mole, guajillo and tomatillo sauce topped with pickled onions, pumpkin seeds, avocado, sour cream and cheese, served with rice. My son devoured them as if he were starved. (4 stars) BRAISED SHORT RIB | $32 THIS IS A MUST TRY DISH! Tender and slow roasted in Añejo's own agave broth. I fell deeply in love at first bite! The broth alone is so full of flavor I was tempted to lick my plate clean. So satisfying I doubt I will ever be able to try anything else on the menu! IF I can force myself, I may give the TAMPIQUEÑA (skirt steak) or the COCHINITA PIBIL (slow cooked shredded pork loin) a try someday, but I'm pretty certain I'm gonna be hooked on the Braised Short Ribs at least for the next 5 visits! LOL (5 stars) For a celebratory drink we tried a $15 smoke infused tequila cocktail called Sexy 92. If I'm being 100% honest, I didn't enjoy it at all. My son enjoyed its uniqueness and our server said it is extremely popular, but I just can't understand why. (2 stars) FINAL THOUGHTS The BRAISED SHORT RIBS are an absolute must try. The RIBEYE TORTA was also excellent, so excellent in fact that we ordered one to go. Overall, a great new restaurant option on the Lawrenceville Square and sister restaurant to D' Floridian just across the street.

The host said it was to celebrate the spring season since they did a apres ski theme during the winter. So festive. Okay so boom, we came here on a whim since we were going to a concert in the area later that evening. Surprisingly it wasn't busy for a Saturday which I expected it to be. Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. Our service was still good and the waiter was very attentive. For apps, we got the She Crab soup. I would've preferred for the crab meat to be sprinkled on top vs. in the soup but nonetheless it was still delicious. Super fresh!! Omg. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. If we had more time, I would've ordered their toffee bread pudding or the honey crème brulee but that's all the more reason to come back. Oh and order the It was all a dream cocktail. Our server Crystal came over immediately and greeted us. I've been to the Smyrna and Midtown locations so I knew what I wanted. I ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls with ranch. My friend and I enjoyed them. They were hot and fresh and the perfect balance of spicy and savory. For our entrees my friend ordered a patty melt and I ordered the chicken nachos. His patty melt honestly didn't look that appealing to me. He ate it but it didn't give patty melt vibes. The burger looked dry and the toast wasn't buttery at all. My nachos however were Delicious! I could honestly say the grilled chicken nachos were the best I've had this year. The flavors were all there. Even a few hours later when I reheated my leftovers the nachos were still good. For dessert I ordered the brownie sundae. I normally order brownies wherever I go if they serve them. This was one of my least favorite. Our server said it's served warm but I couldn't tell. The top layer is very hard and crunchy but under is gooey and smooth. I barely got a full scoop of ice cream. More like a sliver of ice cream. Whoever they get the brownies from they should prob find a new vendor. Overall we had a good visit and I would def return for some of my favs.

I am truly so glad I got to experience this festive masterpiece. From the moment the curtain went up, the production was pure holiday magic!
