Maybe more like a 3.5 like the food was decent for breakfast but service could be a little better. There were two of us in our party. We had a maybe 20 minute wait even though the table were not full and they were cleaned off so that was a little confusing. After we were seated our server came and took our drink order. Im not sure what happened but our drinks took forever to come out almost like he had forgotten to put it in. They came out right before our meal and that was after asking about them. They have a pretty big menu but I finally decided on the classic and waffle with a side of eggs, sausage and tots. It was overall good, not too memorable.

We decided to stop by for brunch since it was close by. We went there when there was a quiet "winter storm" and were glad they were open. The staff were nice. Food was ok. I thought it was a little over seasoned. The drinks were way too sweet and lacked alcohol. Not sure if I'd come back but nice to know it's there.

This isn't a terrible spot. The food was good. The service on the other hand is not the greatest. We were there for over an hour. That is too long to be at a restaurant. My food took 45mins to get to me. Once we were ready for the check, our waiter was no where to be seen. We actually had one of the food runners come up to me because he noticed I was annoyed. He grabbed our waiter after waiting 15mins just to get the check when we were done eating. Minus the service, you should really get the Huevos Rancheros. It is so delicious and MASSIVE! It's a very laid back place but some people like to dress up.

We made a reservation online because the place looked pretty small but, when we got there, he told us we didn't need one and we could sit wherever we wanted. At first, everything started out rocky and we regretted coming here and were ready to leave but thankfully got much better. Service was a little slow and it took a moment before we got acknowledged, and apparently only the manager could make drinks so it took a while for the drinks to come out however, once she stopped talking to one of the tables and made the drinks, they were very potent and good. Thrvchicken and waffles redeemed everything, though it was huge and probably some of the best chicken! my husband also enjoyed his shrimp and grits, which was a very large portion

I brought my mom here for brunch on a quiet Tuesday morning during the holiday week. It was our first time visiting. While I would return, I do want to note the positives and negatives. Positives: Excellent coffee! Hot and fresh and also serves decaf. Food was hot and fresh and EXCELLENT runny eggs! Music was quiet enough to talk (which I appreciated). Needing improvement: The restaurant must have been very understaffed this day. Several tables hadn't been cleared and the floors under the tables that hasn't been cleared weren't swept. Not a very appetizing sight upon entry into the restaurant. The hostess stand was cluttered and no on one was there to greet guests. This makes the vibe a bit off-putting. In general, the vibe is off anyway. I don't know if it's the lighting, or the temperature of the establishment (it was cold inside the restaurant...in late December), or the décor...I can't quite put my finger on it, but the restaurant doesn't feel welcoming. As a matter of fact, we did see people come in, take a look around, and leave while we were there. The server was very sweet but it very well could have been her first day based on the poor quality of service. She was slow to come to our table when we first sat down, took forever to bring our coffee, and was slow on refills and checking on us. Water was never offered, and when I finally asked for a glass of water, she just brought me a glass and never offered anything to my mother. The coffee was great but wasn't serviced with any fixings (sugar, Splenda, etc.). I actually had to get up and get my own sweetener. The creamer was just little plastic pods that you find at the gas station...I expected higher quality. My mom had an omelet with a biscuit, which was very good, but the server never offered butter or jam or syrup for the biscuit. I had Huevos Rancheros which was also very good, the only improvement I would offer was that it was smothered in salsa which overpowered the other flavors. It was a huge portion and I couldn't finish it. The prices are a bit on the high side for the level of hospitality. I expected better quality of service for sure. Overall: I probably will return to give it one more chance and see if it was just an off-day for the service. No disappointment when it comes to the food or coffee!

Stopped by for a Tuesday lunch. There were two other tables outside of us there. Our server was great and friendly. They checked in on us and our food came out relatively quickly. I got the shrimp and grits, which was around $20. The portion was huge. I liked that the shrimp came in a separate bowl for the grits. It was very light in flavor. Not salty, but still savory. A lot of peppers and onions with the shrimp. My sis got their waffles. They were very soft and yummy. We both enjoyed our meals.

I wanted to like this place considering its 9 mins from my house, but something was a bit off with it. Don't get me wrong, it was a breath of fresh air from your clubby type of brunch spots, but the vibe was still off a bit. My son ordered the grits bowl with scramble eggs and turkey sausage, I ordered the fish and chips and cup of coffee, that should have come with cajun fries, but they served it with regular fries, I had asked two different people about the cajun fries and was ultimately sent out some cajun seasoning- lol.... I guess they felt that I could do it myself, which was too late for the actual seasoning to stick, so I ended up leaving the fries there. The fried catfish was delish! My son said his food was ok. The restaurant was clean, the service was not accommodating enough for me. There are so many brunch spots in Gwinnett and unfortunately this one is not making the list. Sorry!

We did not have a good experience so I'm disappointed that I offered this choice when my husband wanted to go to First Watch. Pros: the food was good and it wasn't crowded Cons: the service was extremely slow with only 3 families eating. We were told someone else would be our server then the same person came back to take our order. My husband asked two different people for coffee then finally on the third ask, he received it at the end of the meal. My son wanted steak sauce but no one checked on us until we were ready to go. The food was good but not special just your basic breakfast. We passed by a month ago, it was crowded. I couldn't wait to try it. Now I wish I would've waited.

I eat here frequently because it's closer and this place is consistent and the food is always fresh. They offer a nice variety of food options. The chicken and waffles are my favorite.

Let's talk what a beautiful place to eat. Atmosphere smooth, customer service a pleasure and the food was as delicious as it smells. Please go check this place out and feel the vibes of just chilling and eating! Isaiah was our waiter and he saw so helpful and on point with his service

Breakfast burrito with fruit cup and grilled chicken salad.

The food was great! I had the breakfast burrito and my husband got the grilled chicken salad. Our server Isaiah was attentive and friendly. Despite the poor reviews we still enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Everything was delicious! And perfect amount of food. I ordered a veggie omelette with a side of french toast. Coffee was good and food was hot Isaiah did a great job taking care of me! Cute little place. Thank you!

Visited on a weekday. Server had the entire restaurant, although it wasn't crowded. Food was a bit slow, but order was correct. Server dropped off food and never came back to check until it was time for the bill.

I've tried a variety of their drinks, and my go-to is the Strawberry Earl Grey latte. It's SO GOOD. Nothing is overly sweet, and the tea flavor really shines. My brother likes the mango matcha and my cousin always goes for the vanilla earl grey latte (coffee) or the pistachio latte. We also enjoy their sandwiches too. Would definitely recommend this place! They have a little punch card, where your 10th drink is free, and the owner is so nice! There's waves of people coming and going, but it's not constantly super packed like other places. It's not the biggest place, but you can find seating, and it's a nice place to get stuff done. I wish I could gatekeep this place, but I also want them to be successful. Go try them out!

It's a couple scoops of ice cream with espresso. Pumpkin Spiced Latte: Was good but nothing outstanding. Peanut Butter Cream Einspanner (Iced): Peanut butter cream was good, but once you mix the drink together the peanut flavor is lost. If you like the darker bolder coffee taste, this is a good one to try. Vibe: Music is always upbeat and peaceful, mostly a calm study cafe but some people grab and go. Service: On my first visit I was offered a stamp card. 10 stamps, and your next item is free. The owner is always there and is very welcoming and polite, but it's only for the sake of business. It's not genuine friendliness or care for customers. When I picked up my PSL, I immediately noticed the cup was too light. I ordered a large and there was at least 1.5 inches of space between the fill line and the rim of the cup. Why pay extra for a large if I'm getting served a small? Given that the drink was prepared by the cafe owner herself, I would have been embarrassed to serve a customer such a drink. My other complaint is that I'd visited 3 times in the past two weeks, sat in the cafe for at 3+ hours each time, and was in a rush to attend a important zoom meeting, and planned to order after my meeting was over. 30 mins in, I was actively speaking on the video call when the cafe owner interrupted me to say that I couldn't sit without ordering a drink. So many parts of me want to justify her behavior, maybe she's anxious about the cafe not making enough money - but given that she has seen me before and I was actively speaking - that rubbed me the wrong way. I was beginning to feel comfortable at the cafe but that moment made me hesitant to return. If this hadn't happened, I would have considered this a 5/5 star establishment and found a go-to study spot.

I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. Listen! I ate and left no crumbs...literally!…read more I was looking for a breakfast spot and this place popped up. It's one of those places that you don't know exist unless you know it's there. It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had.
