Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

Homemade hamburger special for $3.99 includes fries and a sweet tea is a steal. Old fashioned southern home cooking; everything tasted like it was made from scratch. Homemade cobblers or banana pudding change everyday. Only broasted chicken in the area; meats (beef tips, chicken dumplings, meatloaf, etc) and veggies for lunch change everyday. Moderately priced; meat + 3 vegies + desert is $6.79. Or 3 vegies is $4.99. Breakfast is cheap and good; breakfast specials under $5 bucks fill you up. Hole in the wall; paint and decor a little out of date, but food is really good. Definitely good southern comfort food for a great price. read more

This restaurant is great! It has a very warm, homey, and comfortable feel to it, which is so true to its name. Its not one of those highly super trendy cafes, but rather a restaurant that is ingrained in the neighborhood and has a drive for serving hot home-cooked-feel foods that makes its customers smile! The food is American/Southern so anyone who has a love for biscuits, loaded omelets, burgers, and other Americana foods that will fill their bellies will love this place. read more

It looks extremely similar to American catfish, but it's an entirely different species native to Vietnam. And while its looks may deceive you, its taste will not IF you are a true lover of catfish. So why give Touch of Flavor flowers? Well, they are only one of two restaurants I've encountered that stated upfront their fish is Swai and don't try to fool you into believing you are being served American catfish. I greatly appreciated the forewarning and decided to give their Swai a try anyway. The fish was cooked nicely and seasoned well, but I'm still not a fan because Swai itself lacks flavor and in my opinion tastes watery. But for their honestly I'm rounding my overall rating up. This location is a spin-off sister restaurant to the extremely popular FLAVOR RICH restaurant in Suwanee, GA. I've eaten there a dozen or more times and have never had a bad meal, so this location came with built-in credentials. That being said, I'm not sure if I would return. The mac n' cheese I ordered needed another 10-15 minutes or so in the oven. It was very liquidy, but still good. The candied yams and fried shrimp were also good, but the fried pork chop was just okay. I was told it was amazing, but I didn't find that to be accurate. [ SERVICE / ATMOSPHERE ] They seemed to be a little busy for just two people to manage, but they got the job done. Still it was a longer than expected wait for the food. The interior features a couple of tables that look rather upscale for the location, but who's complaining about that :-) [ FINAL THOUGHTS ] Overall I would rate Touch of Flavor 3.5 stars. While they may be owned or somehow connected to the same people as Flavor Rich, the FLAVOR profile does not hit the same way.
