My family and I visited this location for the first time while we were in the area on Saturday, May 9 around noon. We decided to join their waitlist online, which was a great choice--it significantly shortened our wait time, and we appreciated receiving a text when our table was ready so we could head right in. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, so I definitely recommend joining the waitlist or making reservations ahead of time if possible. I've heard they also have another location in Atlanta, Georgia, where parking is required and they offer specialty lemonades. The vibe here was really nice--great music, friendly staff, and beautiful decor. We especially loved the thoughtful touch of flowers on the tables in honor of Mother's Day. Our waitress was kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu, including specialty items and pricing. For food, we ordered the shrimp and waffles, chicken tenders with waffles, and the catfish plate, which comes with two sides--we chose potatoes and eggs. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. We also tried their lemonades, which come in a variety of flavors like strawberry, pineapple, and blueberry, and they are refillable. The only downside for us was that they only offer bottled water--we would have preferred the option of having a regular cup of ice water at the table. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was flavorful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Pricing is around $20+ per person. I just wish they had a location like this in Arizona!

We have been waiting to try Flavor Rich for some time now, and it was worth the wait. We were fortunate to go on a weekday and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and helpful. We ordered the classic chicken and waffles and the breakfast plate with cheese grits and cheese eggs. The food was DELICIOUS, and portion sizes were generous. It's rare for everything to taste amazing, and all of it did! We will definitely be back!

We weren't sure about the place at the end of the shopping strip but man are we so glad we stopped in. We were seated quickly (right after Sunday church no less). I was concerned about the fried fish and chicken cross contamination since I have a seafood allergy but was accommodated by being told they re indeed fried separately and since k have an allergy, extra care would be taken. I ordered the chicken and waffles and hubby orders the simple breakfast switching out the grits for potatoes. The food was not only beautifully presented but amazingly rich in flavor. Hubby even says it may have been the breakfast we have had since moving to GA in October. We will be back!!!

The food presentation was great, the flavor of the Banana French toast was perfect I would like to have had a little more Cajun on the fish and grits. Definitely get the passion fruit lemonade. Silvia and Crissy were so personable and attentive. I would come back just because of these two! There is also a good vibe, music and the entire experience. It also helped that they play the reggae version of Happy Birthday. We will be back for Sunday Caribbean flavor. They stay busy and crowded, but they keep people moving. Food was served quickly.

Absolutely delicious! I spent the week in Atlanta and had brunch several time. This was hands down the best! I cleaned my plate of waffles. Waffles were amazing and the topping is unbelievable- no syrup needed. Chicken was good too! Great service.

-1 hour and 20 minutes wait on wait list (and we think the hostess forgot about us) -30 minutes to wait for food after seated -some elements forgotten on food This was my first time at the suwanee location. Showed up at 11am on Sunday for a birthday brunch. The hostess said there was a wait but could not give us an estimate. We got on their wait list which was on the toast app and texted to us. We sat in the car and waited as people shuffled in and out of the door. There were 7 tables ahead of us according to the app. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. We noticed so many people were doing take out orders. We went inside to inquire about the remaining wait time to consider take out instead. When we asked the same hostess who put us down on the wait list, she seemed alarmed when I gave her my name and was like "oh you're (my name)". We asked if we missed something for the wait list and she said no. A table was leaving and she said we could have that one and this was when the wait list said there were 2 tables ahead of us left. My group felt that she may have skipped us or forgotten about us based on her reaction. Our server was very nice. We waited another 30 minutes for food after being seated. My sis wanted to go here for her birthday because of the brunch vibes and mimosas. This was a part of the reason why we just waited the long wait. Turns out this suwanee location does not serve alcohol. :( Food: The shrimp and grits and fish ($25) and grits were pretty good, but I was surprised by how many onions were inside. I have never seen so many onions in grits before. It was in every bite. There were a lot of half cut bulbs of small onions in my grits (as pictured). I also felt that the presentation for the fish and grits was really messy and rushed. The fish and grits ($26) did not have that many onions in comparison. They also asked if we wanted cheese on our grits. We both said yes and it turned out there was a dollar charge added to our receipt for each one. I noticed mine didn't have cheese once I looked back at my photos, but my sister's did based on the color and taste. Hers was yellow on top and more savory. Mine was plainer and white, so I think they forgot my cheese. The shrimp was blackened and seasoned well though. The salmon was also a little dry and didn't pair as well with shrimp since it wasn't crunchy according to my sis. The chicken and biscuit ($18) had a lightly fried and crispy chicken that was very good. However, there was very little gravy just on the bottom of the plate, which was different from the photos where it was covered with gravy sauce on top. It made the dish a bit dry without more gravy. The side of potatoes for $5 was incredibly bland and plain. We barely touched them. The server automatically gave us 10% off our check because our food "took a while to come out" when we did not say anything to them. I wondered if its because they really did forget to seat us from the wait list. The food was pretty good outside of the lack of gravy on the chicken and bland potato side. But the wait time and overall experience to actually dine really took away from the overall experience. The seating is pretty limited to 2 seat tables and bigger groups would take up conjoined tables, which I believe is why the wait was so long. I think we would have had better luck with timing to going our food as so many people were picking up to go orders. The hostess also kept coming to our table to take the menu qr sign and would say sorry and interrupt our meal and then bring it back to interrupt again. She did this twice. The strange thing was that every table had one and we were seated furthest from where she was standing at the front door. I didn't understand why she couldn't have taken it from a closer table or why they didn't have a copy up front. It was disruptive. Overall, the potential for all of our dishes to be really good was definitely there. Some stuff was forgotten on our plates and the long wait really took away from the experience unfortunately.

Food, service and ambience were all 5 star I recommend you try the fish and grits with blackened salmon. The flavors were such a treat to my palate.

It's been moons since I've eaten from here (5-years to be exact -- It was 2020, COVID, carry-out only and I was preggo)... I remember the food being tasty then and it still rings true today. I decided to revisit it and dine in for a sister-friend meet-up. It didn't disappoint. So let's get into it -- Food: Bomb (overall). I had the salmon blt with a side of greens instead of fries (they aren't fresh cut, and we all know I love fresh-cut fries). Back to the review -- greens were the reason for the "4" stars -- they were tasty but a tad bit too salty. Salmon was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. I also had a side of grilled shrimp. Delicious! Take a look at the pics... Service - our server was lovely. I wish I could recall her name (it's me, not her -- I'm the problem lol). She was attentive but not overly stalker-ish. Ambiance -- the spot is quaint and hella small so this is perfect for small families and dates. Wall art was my fav (I love music). Playlist was a W (win). Note - The clientele was diverse (warmed my Cali-girl heart). I will be back to try more of the other menu options.

This place definitely lived up to the hype! I was pleasantly surprised at coming to Flavor Rich in Lawrenceville. They do offer the common food fair for brunch. However, as the name states, it's the flavor that really sets this place off. I came with my sister and we ordered the peach cobbler, French toast and the shrimp and grits along with their Mango flavored lemonades. Everything was delicious. The shrimp and grits to me were the star of the show. Other restaurants don't have a proper sauce for the shrimp but Flavor Rich got it on the mark. When I say, I love shrimp and grits, this place was exactly when I think of when I say I want that dish. If you're in the area, this one is definitely a great place to go. You can tell a lot of locals come here. Only thing of note is the parking lot. We visited on Sunday so parking was limited due to the restaurant being adjacent to a church.

    Fish & grits

The food was good. This restaurant can get pretty busy on the weekends making parking hard to find. It also makes the wait time longer because the space is so small compared to the demand. I had to wait an hour even with a reservation. The ambiance is nice and casual with art on the wall and great music playing. It's family friendly and gives off a family gathering vibe. The waitress was really nice and made a few good recommendations. I went during breakfast and had the fish and grits which was pretty decent. It was seasoned pretty good without being too salty. I wanted to try the wagyu breakfast burger but they weren't serving it at the time.

Great ambiance and wonderful staff . Got seated immediately, very diverse customers . Food came quickly and was delicious. Great portion sizes . Wish they had mimosas, outside of that absolutely great experience.

Flavor Rich, I get it. Take a step in and look around. The table on the left, the table on the right, the waitress carrying those two plates....it all looks absolutely irresistible. How does one even choose?! Flavor rich isn't your average neighborhood eatery. It's over the top dishes and flavors in that unmistakable Atlanta vibe. The artwork, the music, the plating, these guys don't miss a thing. The menu itself is as it good it gets: Peach cobbler French toast, fried lobster, truffle steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, and the list goes on and on. I came for the chicken sandwich and truffle Parmesan fries, and boy was it hard to hold on to my conviction amid all this temptation. But fried chicken and bacon and jalapeños aioli? How can you pass that up?! Technically speaking, it's beyond reproach. A toasted bun, wonderfully crisp chicken, contrasts of both flavor and texture. But to be perfectly fair, I do think the sandwich would have been significantly better if a thigh was chosen over the breast. With such a generous breast portion, it can become a little tough in the middle. Overall an excellent sandwich indeed. As good as the sandwich is, the fries might be even better....and I normally don't even care for crinkle fries. Flavor rich is the type of restaurant that becomes the neighborhood spot. Birthday? Flavor Rich. Anniversary? Flavor Rich. Feeling sad/good? Flavor Rich. I mean how else are you going to experience this laundry list of amazing menu options?!

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol
