We've been coming here since the late 90's. For about 15 years, we were very regular. About 6 years ago we had a couple of mediocre visits in a row and it faded from our radar. Tonight's visit was great again. Like old times, except the waitresses are all new. Our go-to choices were in tip-top shape tonight: stuffed cabbage w/ steamed veggies & mashed potatoes and gravy was spot on. The chicken curry for my wife was phenomenal again. This is our favorite chicken curry. Usually not packed, I'd describe the service as leisurely. They're not slow, but not super-fast. It's a nice pace, especially if you're there with someone you like. While it had been a bit run down post-Covid, it's clean and well lit and welcoming again. We've been here many times, and in the past, the service hasn't always been the best but ok. However, today was an exception. Rahhul was awesome--attentive, friendly, and made the experience much more enjoyable. The food, as always, was delicious and consistent, which is why we keep coming back. I also want to give a shout-out to one of the bussers (a lady) who was incredibly observant and pleasant. She really stood out and would make an excellent server. Good Night Eats! If you want something good to eat after hours or during the day, this diner has pretty much everything to satisfy any appetite. I placed a to go order through the Uber Eats app. I was hungry so I decided to go with Chicken Alfredo with broccoli cheddar soup on the side. The Chicken Alfredo had an equal amount of chicken. It was good. I just wished it had more garlic. 4/5 The sauce wasn't thick but it wasn't thin. I ended up pouring some of the Cheddar Soup in the pasta to add more flavor. (Just the foodie in me!) I go to the Georgia Diner quite often. I usually have Breakfast items, like omelettes, sausage links, toast, coffee. Their Burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches are also very good. Their food is always delicious and the service is excellent! Very friendly service staff, polite and helpful. The atmosphere is good. I try to get a seat near a window, I spend close to an hour at their Diner, relaxed and enjoying the food and drink. Prices are reasonable. Decided on breakfast and this location popped up on Yelp. It's a traditional diner setting with a cozy set-up. Upon walking in we were seated and our drink order was taken. The Food: Waffle- generic, golden brown, nothing unique about the flavor. If you are in the mood for a traditional waffle this is perfect for you. Home Fries- real potatoes, perfectly fried, generic flavor, be prepared to add salt and pepper to your desired taste. Bacon- good quality, not too fatty, perfectly crisp. The Service: The service was standard. The waitress provided us with our drinks and food. She didn't check on us at all and upon returning or checks she didn't advise that we were to pay at the front. We were waiting for her to come retrieve our checks and payment and she never did. When we saw her we waved her down and she said she would be right back. It wasn't until we asked another waitress for assistance that she advised us to pay at the front, she also happened to be the cashier as we would have never known to go to the front as there was no one there. By this time we had waited 13 minutes for no reason and were over the experience. Then we get to the cashier and she charges the wrong check to the wrong card. Oh me oh my! Wow, so all these nights we've been ordering Uber Eats or Door Dash and kept sleeping on this place. Honestly, I don't know why. We just had an excellent meal from here delivered by Uber Eats recently. My fiancé ordered the double patty burger meal with onion rings instead of fries. The salisbury steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, definitely homemade, with a good amount of gravy and mushrooms. The potatoes and veggies were perfect. I appreciate that they used squash and zucchini as some of the veggie mix. They're some of my favorites. Finally, the cheesecake was outstanding! Sinfully rich mind you, and it should be shared or spared for later. Athough, I wouldn't judge you if you knocked the whole thing out in one sitting - so hard not to. Georgia Diner isn't bad, but it's not great either. It's A-OK. If you want classic American comfort/diner food, this place should suffice. This diner, which is open 24/7, opened in 1996. It's located on Pleasant Hill Road near I-85 (exit 104) across from the City Farmers Market (old Assi) shopping plaza. We visited on a Sunday morning around 10:30am and the restaurant was busy. Almost every table was taken. There were groups both large and small, including some big families. There was a wait for large tables. My fiancee and I were able to grab a booth immediately. The diner is sizable, but not huge. The dining room is partitioned into three sections and they also have a sort of indoor patio. Unlike other diners which display their cakes and pies up front, Georgia Diner's display is in the back. TVs played Fox News. The business feels dated, but that's part of the character/charm of old diners. The staff was diverse and friendly, but not the most attentive. They may have been understaffed. Our food came out fast, but some items were missing (more on that below). Also, it wasn't clear if we were supposed to pay at our table or at the register. There were a few times when we needed our server, but we couldn't find her. One time, I had to get up and go find her. The diner serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day/night. Breakfast includes dishes like eggs/omelettes, waffles, French toast, and pancakes for about $7-13 each for most entrees. Lunch and dinner include items like burgers, sandwiches, steak, seafood, fried chicken, pork chops, Southern entrees like Salisbury steak and country fried steak, Greek and Italian entrees like moussaka and eggplant Parmigiana, and more. Most of those entrees run about $8-18 each. Desserts include the cakes and pies in the aforementioned display case, ice cream, sundaes, banana splits, and milk shakes (about $5-8 each). We ordered one "The Georgia Diner" breakfast which includes two eggs (any style; I had them scrambled), two buttermilk pancakes, two strips of bacon, one sausage link, home fries (home fries are the default; I think we could've substituted something else in like grits), and buttered toast for $8.95, one order of "Fruity Waffles" which includes a Belgian waffle topped with seasonal fruit (or fruit preserves; we chose seasonal fruit) and whipped cream for $8.95, and coffee ($2.69). The meal was decent. It wasn't anything special, but I enjoyed it. Honestly, it wasn't all that different from a place like Waffle House except the atmosphere and service were more homey. They forgot the toast, so I had to flag our server down to get it. She apologized. The options were white and wheat. I chose wheat. The bread was run-of-the-mill. I added mixed berry and strawberry jelly from the jelly packet tray at our table. Our Belgian waffle was missing whipped cream. We didn't bother asking for it. The bacon, eggs, and home fries were alright. One strip of bacon was chewy (arguably too chewy) while the other was crispy. The sausage link was delicious. Super tasty. I saw a couple in one of the booths next to us order a side of three sausages. Yum. Both the pancakes and the waffle came with small packs of Smucker's Breakfast Syrup. I added Land O'Lakes Whipped Butter to both. The pancakes were fine. The waffle was too soft, moist, and chewy. While it wasn't terrible, I prefer Belgian waffles to be drier, fluffier, airier, and crispier. The "seasonal" fruit consisted of blueberries, sliced strawberries and banana. The fruit was perfectly ripe so that was really nice. The coffee was satisfactory. The table had Land O'Lakes Mini Moo's Half & Half creamer packets along with various artificial and natural (cane sugar) sweeteners. Unlimited refills. read more

Once we walked into Georgia Diner to pick up our food the first time the name of the place on my phone was "The Vegan Burger Farm" But the business BUILDING is Georgia Diner Now in Uber eats the name is ALSO "Veganland Wonderland" all under the Same address (confusing) They have a photo of the vegan Teryaki "wings" so we expected what was in the photo.
