Egg Harbor Cafe off Medlock Bridge is popular. I would suggest using their site to join the wait list while enroute. Party of 2 wait was 30 minutes. I think we got seated in 20 minutes. They indoor and outdoor wait seating. There was a piano on steps being played while waiting. It was a cozy brunch dining experience. The patio was cool but as more people joined; temperatures rose. We mentioned it being our 1st time dining. I am used to waitress saying oh nice let me make some suggestions or asking if we wanted some. This waitress was like ok do you want more time. I was like okay. Lol. We ordered our drinks and debated on food. I must admit the potatoes looked plain with salt sprinkled. They were cooked in beef tallow. Delicious flavor! I saw that on menu but forget. My omelette was good but wish cheese was inside with ingredients not on top. The fruit compote and English muffin was good. I enjoyed my iced caramel macchiato. It was perfect. Just right amount flavor and sweetness. My friend said the bacon avocado toast was just okay. Her fruit was fresh and sweet. The eggs were okay. Looking more for cheese eggs w cheese mixed in not melted on top. Her Chai tea was good. I would go again to location if closer to me. We stopped here since going somewhere close by. read more

Good parking. It took about 10 mins to get a table for two on a Saturday morning. Waiter "Brad" took our drink and order promptly. We never saw him again until he brought us the check. The server staff who brought the drinks and refilled my tea water was very attentive. The food came quickly and was hot. My fruit bowl was fresh and sweet. The skillet was of good size. I enjoyed my food. My DH did not care for the habanero hash as it was lacking the chorizo he was so looking forward to. When we showed up, we got on the list and were called within the 15 minute time period we were promised. Our server came right over and took our orders right away. Within minutes, we had piping hot coffee on the table. The food came out fairly quickly. The highlight was the maple bacon. That stuff is magical. I enjoyed the food here. There was a short wait. We were called before the projected time, which was nice. They have a pretty big menu with lots to choose from. I appreciated that they had turkey/chicken breakfast meats -- which can be hard to come by. They do fry their breakfast potatoes in beef fat, so it might be good to let your server know of any dietary restrictions. I enjoyed the avocado toast, although I wish it came with 2 slices of bread verses one (i always perceive avocado toast as an open faced sandwich, so one slice of bread seems like a small amount of food for $15+ . The toast did come with 2 eggs and a bowl of fruit. The coffee was delicious and they brought out an entire pot with the order. Great choice for brunch! We came here for a birthday and received great service. We had a time reserved but our spot was held until every one in our group arrived which was amazing! Restaurant was a casual modern brunch spot and I believe they did everything right. Service was on point, nice drinks, and food is hitting just right! I ordered a French toast, eggs, sausage, with a strawberry orange juice. This strawberry OJ is bomb and I would highly recommend giving it a try. I was a bit disappointed that our server didn't seem friendly, just a plain face/demeanor doing a job. But when the bill came, all the sudden there was some pizzazz. I got the Ultimate Skillet and it was sooooo delicious. My husband got the cinnamon roll pancake and he said it was pretty good. I also got an iced matcha, I will say, I wasn't impressed with the matcha. It was mostly milk and barely had any of the matcha powder in it. I might as well have just been drinking milk only. I had breakfast with family earlier this week and our experience was stellar. I had the avocado toast with scrambled egg and fresh fruit. The egg was perfectly cooked and fruit side was a nice mix of melons and berries. The avocado toast, however, was the star of the meal--the best I have ever had. The avocado was seasoned well and topped with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and sprinkles of feta cheese. It was simply outstanding. They had a few good options available. I ended up ordering the veggie skillet and they allow you to add up to three items to your skillet ( basically potatoes and eggs and add your toppings) Added onions, spinach, and green peppers and mushrooms, it was amazing. The sauce was listless, flat with no tanginess. The good news is the eggs were cooked properly. The Canadian ham and English muffin left a lot to be desired without the sauce. I came here for brunch with my family on a Sunday around noon. This large space was surprisingly pretty empty so we were able to be seated almost immediately which was awesome. Our server was super attentive which I appreciated. Our table ordered some coffees, scrambles, platters. It wasn't for me. I'm from the south and I like my grits a certain way. A creamy like texture, a little thick, and full of flavor. Theirs has that gritty texture and that's an instant no for me. It also didn't have flavor. I tried the cinnamon roll French toast. It was the size of a honey bun. They bring you water in one of those large glass jars, but mine had a dead ant in it. This is by far one of my favorite breakfast spots. My family and I have been coming here for years and today was a treat to come solo before starting my day. My server was very kind and when I was deciding between the shrimp and grits or the Harbor signature pancake which are THe Best pancakes by far; she allowed me to substitute the biscuit for 2 mini pancakes so I had both. Of course the portions are always more than enough so have a lil left to eat later. The wait is always longer on weekends so call ahead seating is best. The casual home feel while giving fine dining menu options and weekly specials sure to satisfy. They no longer have the coffee of the day which I looked forward to as they were always unique. Very popular brunch place in Johns Creek / Duluth area. The place is huge, but it's still packed all the time, even on weekdays. Make sure you get yourself on the waitlist before you go! I put myself on the waitlist and showed up to the restaurant when there were a couple parties in front of me. When I showed up at the host's desk, they were able to seat me right away. Everyone was super nice and service was fast. The food did take a long time, but you have to expect it to with how big the restaurant is and how many people are there. I was not a fan of the food however. I could've ordered the wrong dishes. The salmon benedict hollandaise sauce was not the sauce I expected. While I love arugula, it did not go well with the benedict. Maybe I just wasn't a fan of the sauce. Chicken and waffle was alright. I'll have to go again to try other dishes. read more
