Food was amazing, we ordered chicken with cinnamon wafle churros, steak eggs and potatoes special, our server Kelly was very helpful special recomedation nailed it, our whipped coffee was really amazing, options with whole milk or almond milk was offered we tried both, really good, very tasty and great presentation, [[HIGHLIGHT]]place is ample with plenty of natural light, a lot of sitting area, no wait time, you can have a converadtion as music was on a perfect level[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], prices were pretty good, [[HIGHLIGHT]]place was an old "Pharmacy" so historic look perfect blend to menu style named dishes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Totally recommending this place. My late husband and I loved the food at the brunch apothecary. The shrimp and grits was delicious and my husband loved it! The service was great too.

Good food! Local. Not a lot of parking but there's a shopping plaza beside it so I was able to park there and just walk. Last weekend was our second time and we tried something different. So far, all delicious! The service was pleasant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is nice-- it's in a small old house so it's tight but it works.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Note for my future self: their lemonade is pink lemonade but still good with their sweet tea! We will be back!

It's not a secret this is THE place for brunch. Wait time can be as long as an hour or longer. They take your number and text you when table is ready. The food tates incredible, like out of mama's kitchen. Heaping serving of menu items and includes daily specials. Ordered their version of eggs Benedict. Creative and cooked to perfection. Worth the wait!

Visited GA from out of town and came here for a Sunday brunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a super cute restaurant and the service was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The portion sizes were huge and everything tested great! They won't seat your table until everyone is present in your party. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is both outdoor and indoor seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A great spot for a casual brunch![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Always delicious!!!! Today don't disappoint. I took a friend for her birthday for brunch. The specialty coffee is ALWAYS a MUST!!! Very sweet but worth sharing. Country fried steak breakfast perfect. Biscuit outstanding and fluffy. Tried the hash brown casserole and will have It again. She tried the churro waffle and fried pork chop delicious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Upon arrival there was a bit of a wait as they don't accept reservations. We waited about 20 minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was buzzing with a good amount of people. It is a bit tight inside but it wasn't uncomfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was attentive even though it was a Sunday and there were many guests. The food came out in a timely manner and everything was delicious. Pro tip: ask about the specials of the day. Would recommend having brunch here!

We got a to-go order for my aunt's birthday brunch. When we went to pick up, the line was out the door, so My hopes were high. NOTHING disappointed! I tried the shrimp and grits. 10! I also tried the chicken salad with the zucchini bread. 10! I love going places and trying new things, but most of all being pleasantly surprised. I forgot to take pics of most of the items, but I managed to snap one of my shrimp & grits. This restaurant does not take reservations, so be prepared to get there early or wait. It's worth it though.

The wait for a table is well worth it. Leslie and Natalie were very patient helping us with our order and bringing out our food promptly. The fried green tomatoes were real good as well as the waffles, fried chicken and bacon. The biscuits were buttery, flaky enough to be soft and hold together for the jelly to be spread. This was such an enjoyable brunch from the reservation, wait, service and food. Make sure you come early enough to select one of the specials that seem to go quickly. I would like to recommend those that bus the table not to wipe food from the table on the floor for the server to sweep up later. It's just not a good look to eat while trash is on the floor until the server has a chance to sweep.

Came in for Father's Day and definitely recommend getting there BEFORE they open to avoid the long lines and large crowd! Parking: plenty of parking behind and adjacent to the restaurant. Service: quick and attentive service. Ambiance is like an old home so it's cozy, quiet, and intimate. Good for a small breakfast party or even a small group. Drink: I tried the whipped coffee. Definitely a unique offering I've never seen presented this way! Wish there was a good way to mix this up and would've preferred a tad more sweetness. Novel offering either way. Food: I got one of the specials. It was just okay! By the time I ordered it, they were out of the jam that was supposed to come on it and replaced it with a green tomato type jelly which wasn't remotely close to the sweet/savory flavor that was supposed to be going on which bummed me out a little bit. Biscuit was hard to keep together as well, so a bit more on the deconstructed side.

This is a great spot. Maybe the best breakfast in Gwinnett County. I've never had a bad meal here. Whatever you order, make sure it includes their fried chicken. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Forget about the run down house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Forget about the little hostess with attitude and just enjoy their great southern style breakfast! Buttery grits, fresh fruit in honey yogurt, cat head biscuits and the best fried chicken this side of Atlanta!

    Cinnamon Roll.

This is one of our favorite places for breakfast. They have great food and a great staff. This visit Mercedes was our server and she was so sweet and amazing. Thank you! We tried the cinnamon roll to share. Really good. Big enough for 3 or 4 to share. My wife and I got the Cure All. Really enjoyed it and my son had The Goat Sammy. We would all definitely get our meal again and can't wait to go back. Expect a wait. It's worth it. Biscuits are so good!

Ask the Community - The Brunch Apothecary

    Do they take reservations?

Not at this time. It's first come first serve. They offer free beverages while you wait and the porch is lovely.

    Do they serve mimosas?

No mimosas unfortunately. No alcohol at all here.

Do they offer any milk alternatives like oat or soy?

    They have almond milk

Are there any gluten free options?

You can create your own gluten free options. The steak and eggs would be good and maybe add a side salad or fruit. They are very accommodating.

Do they still offer the nitrous Carmel coffee?

    Yes!

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Yes! They have an outdoor covered patio that your pup is welcome to join you on.

    Is it wheelchair friendly?

It's a little cramped inside, but it's all on one floor, I don't think there are any steps from the parking lot, and I think there is a handicap spot up front.

It's a good spot for date night, or a special occasion, or just when you want a properly- and artfully-prepared crepe and coffee. Their new location in Dacula is a bit further from home for me, but it is worth the drive - and longer. They have an expanded menu featuring a variety of French classics. They still do offer galette and crepe menu items. This new location also features bar service, and their menu has a short list of specialty cocktails and TGG versions of standard mixes. Amuse Bouche: a fresh watermelon gazpacho (served in a shooter) with a tiny crispy wafer topped with Gruyère and apple preserve. Wild! I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon. One of our party ordered the Sea Bass and another went light and ordered a selection of appetizers. They reported excellent preparation and flavors. Mine was extremely well prepared, rich and full flavored. The dishes were presented like works of art. It was the luck of the day that beams of setting sunlight shone through the curtains and illuminated our meals just as they were placed on the table. The spiraled lemon on the crab cake caught sun like a stained glass window. The beef arrangement on my side looked like a tiny forest, with tender boulders of mushrooms and meat, fallen trees of carrots, a little shrub of Swiss chard, and a sapling sprig of fresh rosemary. But for real - artistic musings aside, this was some damn good food. I thoroughly enjoyed the main course, and of course, I had to get a crepe for dessert. Tout de Chocolat was such a perfect finish, with freshly toasted almonds and warm buttery caramel to offset wave after wave of chocolate flavors. I always love the atmosphere they create. The owner was in the house and she is always such a delight to encounter. The Galloping Galette should be on your short list for great restaurant experiences in Gwinnett County.
