i tried this place on a whim with my boyfriend. upon our arrival, we saw that they were PACKED. and that is for good reason!! we waited about 30 minutes before getting seated. the hostess and our waitress were both really kind, very attentive. my boyfriend ordered the chicken & churros waffle, YES it is as good as it sounds. topped with guava butter this was actual perfection!! i had the pork belly benedict which was also reallyyy good. SO much flavor, but if you're like me and can't handle too much during breakfast i don't recommend ordering it bc it's A LOT of food lol i couldn't finish. it's huge pieces of pork belly with eggs on top of cornbread cake and served with potato wedges!! tbh SOOO cheap for all that you get. normal eggs benedict elsewhere are about the same with so much less food. we also tried their specialty whipped coffee which was okay, i think i expected more since it's one of their most popular items but it's worth trying for sure. the restaurant is basically a house so it feels really cozy and is a super cute spot for a brunch date. i would feel overwhelmed bringing a big group of people here but they have a lot of outside seating too! overall such a great brunch place, definitely made it to one of my top favorites :) read more

What a cool brunch spot! We were coming from out of town and came here with some friends. Such a cozy place to enjoy brunch with friends and family. We were craving chicken and waffles, and they did not disappoint! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the waffle was perfectly fluffy. Such a good combo! This time, my husband and I decided to branch out and try the specials, and it absolutely paid off. I'd go that route again without hesitation. We got a to-go order for my aunt's birthday brunch. When we went to pick up, the line was out the door, so My hopes were high. NOTHING disappointed! I tried the shrimp and grits. 10! The wait for a table is well worth it. Leslie and Natalie were very patient helping us with our order and bringing out our food promptly. The fried green tomatoes were real good as well as the waffles, fried chicken and bacon. The biscuits were buttery, flaky enough to be soft and hold together for the jelly to be spread. This was such an enjoyable brunch from the reservation, wait, service and food. Make sure you come early enough to select one of the specials that seem to go quickly. I would like to recommend those that bus the table not to wipe food from the table on the floor for the server to sweep up later. It's just not a good look to eat while trash is on the floor until the server has a chance to sweep. read more

Terrible customer service. The hosts showed no professionalism whatsoever. When guests approach the stand, they don't greet you -- they wait for you to speak first. This happened to me, and I watched them do the same thing to another guest who walked in after us. There was no crowd, and a table was clearly available when we arrived. However, they seated two parties who came in after us. When we asked about the open table, the host said we could sit there but that they were "just giving the waitress some time." The food is always fresh and consistently good, and it's one of my go-to places to bring friends when we go out for breakfast. The ambiance is great too -- it can get busy, but it still has a really good atmosphere and doesn't take away from the experience. One thing I really like is the daily specials. The regular menu is already solid, but having something different to try each time makes it even better. I've had my eye on the pork belly Benedict for a while and finally tried it, and it's definitely my new favorite thing on the menu. Make sure you ask about their waffle special too. We started with the speciality coffee which is a whipped coffee with almond or whole milk and a caramel drizzle. Whipped coffee was a new thing for me. It was yummy! For breakfast, I ordered the cure for three. It comes with fried chicken, a biscuit (or toast), eggs your way, and a side of your choice. I picked the hash brown casserole. Probably the best biscuit I have had in my life. The fried chicken was so good. Definitely some of the best fried chicken I have had too. My friend had the waffle, rooster red chicken, grits with cheese, and scrabble eggs with cheese. Everything was great! You can get a waffle or churro waffle. I ordered the country fried steak which wasn't bad if that's your thing however I got asked if I wanted gravy with it & I said yes but if they could put it on the side (I wasn't told that gravy was an additional cost and I got a whole cup which was like $3 extra). I had the pork belly eggs Benedict and the Cajun shrimp and I gotta say, it's one of the best brunches I've had in a while. This place feels homey, is affordable, and gives amazing food. I will say my poached egg was completely jammy and not runny as it should be, but other than that all of the flavours were impeccable. The grits were cheesy and I couldn't stop eating them. The pork belly was tender and just the right amount of richness. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and had a snap to them. If I lived near here, I would come once a week. I needed 8 packets of sugar for the coffee to taste somewhat decent. If you get a cup of coffee before eating here, you'll be in great shape. Went to visit my friend and he had heard great things about this restaurant that he had it in the itinerary. We arrived and there was a 20 minute wait, and while waiting we learned that this place used to be a pharmacy and a party house. I thought that was pretty cool considering the house is pretty old. They have a bunch of tables set up in a comfortable manner. Once our table was ready we sat down and ordered food right away. I had the Essential Egg Breakfast with the biscuit and the hash brown casserole. Everything was so delicious that when I visit I will go back and eat some more there. read more

I've been here twice and love the biscuits. Today I had two eggs with biscuit and the grapefruit crème brûlée. The grapefruit was basically Caramelized on top- it was delicious. The speciality iced coffee with the whip is amazing and a must to try. I love that this restaurant is in a old style home and gives it a very southern feel. It's very cute and they have some outside seating as well. The prices are very fair with the portion size. I love the bench and waiting area in the side too. The parking is small and fills up quick but you can park in the shopping center next door. Once seated we looked through the menu and placed our orders shortly after.
