What a great find while in Dacula working earlier this week. Found this by accident turning into the wrong plaza but a coffee cafe sign lured me in. I had such a nice chat with the kind cashier who shared the the deets on the nice quaint shop which roasts their own beans. Had several blends to get freshly ground on site. They officer coffees's teas, smoothies and a few pastries. Great indoor and outdoor patio seating. Feels like a nice cabin cozy and inviting. They offer games, reading area and super cool. We had a great first visit to TradeWind! My husband and I had an early morning coffee date here. The baristas and staff were friendly and helpful. The interior was inviting with a mix of tables and sofas--a great place for hanging out with friends and family. Such a nice find in the Dacula area. They have plenty of tables for working and cozy corners to meet others and hang out. They had board games as well. They have breakfast food, pastries, pita pizzas if you are hungry. I liked that they have lots of sugar free flavor options. They have traditional and seasonal tea and coffee options. Grateful for our neck of the woods to have a quality and niche place like Tradewind to get coffee & other treats, and have a place to hangout for business, small group, etc. I've even done a couple of fantasy football drafts in their private space, which I'd recommend for anyone who is looking for a dedicated meeting space with some privacy requirements. This coffee shop is one of a kind! Upon entering this establishment, I was greeted by a delicious aroma of coffee beans. The barista was kind, helpful, and patient. She answered my questions regarding their seasonal items. I got their raspberry sparkling ade and their raspberry chai latte. Let me tell y'all, it was delicious (to me) but my S.O. believes that they were "alright". The sparking raspberry was refreshing with little to no bitter taste of the club soda. Same can be said with the chai latte; it was more sweet than bitter. Both have strong hints of raspberry flavor. But the best part? Each one was less than $5 for 16oz! TradeWind has a breakfast service all day menu. Now! I came for just tea and ended up ordering a very mouth watering, ham and cheeeeese crisssoniant. Tradrwind is in the Cornerstone village plaza. The cafe has plenty seating inside and good variety of hot and cold drinks. The food list is not as plentiful but they serve the purpose if you want a small bite to eat with your drink. They have great service and the staff make you feel like an old customer. I will definitely be back for another one of those croissants. read more

Stopped by TradeWind Coffee while we waited for our car to be serviced, and I am so glad we did. The vibes inside are so cool. It is quiet enough to work inside, but they also have a quiet room if is too loud for you. There are also couches and bean bag sofas and they were soooo comfy. We were so relaxed when we left lol. As far as food, and drinks, we ordered their Iced Lattes and loved them. I got the Caramel, and my husband the White Mocha. He said it was better than Starbucks haha. They offer small bites, and breakfast sandwiches. We ordered the Bacon Grilled Cheese for $3.50 and it was ok. For $3.50 I didn't expect anything to come with it, but I wish I had the option to add some sort of side. It was just boring. In general, this coffee shop is less than 5 min from home so I will probably be coming in often. We loved the coffee, but would probably skip the food next time. It has a great design to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The servers are cordial and the drinks and food offerings are really good.

Tradewinds has always been cozy, clean and nice, but their drip and whole bean offerings never quite worked for me. That all changed with the addition of a wonderful Indian medium roast, which I now buy whole bean almost every week. I was also very impressed with their pirate blend which is a monthly special blend. All of this is making this place much more "third wave" in my book and I am much pleased about that! read more

My hubby got a large hot coffee and I got a large drip coffee with skim milk, with peppermint and white mocha syrup. It was alright. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needed to pull over to do some quick work between appointments and luckily pulled into the parking lot of TradeWind Coffee. This was my first here and I am extremely impressed. I love the outside seating area they have before walking in the front door. It's a super creative way to utilize the space and helps the coffee shop look welcoming. I was greeted kindly immediately when I walked in (wasn't the uncomfortable put you on the spot kind of greeting). The employees were friendly and helpful. They gave me a moment then asked what kind of coffee I like so they can give me some recommendations. I settled for a small all black iced coffee. As I was waiting for my coffee I looked around the shop. I noticed it was clean and well taken care of. There are plenty of tables to do some work or have a great conversation without feeling you're on top of the other tables. (Super spacious). They even have an area designated to pick out coffee to take home with you. There are many options lined up. Now for the finale! I got my coffee in a jiffy and it is SOOOOOO GOOD. Honestly the best iced coffee I have ever had. And even though I got the small it's a very generous portion with a strong punch. The iced coffee is on the lighter side but still had a decent bold taste. It's the perfect balance. I NEED to persuade them into opening a location near Atlanta. Because I might just drive 40 mins in the morning to get this wonderful coffee experience. So first thing you notice when walking in is it's a big place! The restroom is nice and clean and they also have a little kid play area, cute! The main experience and what I'll remember most of that service is super friendly and they don't skim on ingredients. I had the ham egg and avo croissant and it was filling and tasted great. I also had some yummy hot tea. Speaking if teas, there many options of loose leaf to pick from. The seating here is plenty and they have a piano area that looks like they have a music night for. I tasted it and it was terrible. not even a hint of strawberry or matcha. literally cold milk for almost $7. so sure no problem I was like they'll compensate by make a drink of equal or lesser value at least that would be the hospitable thing to do. i nicely order another drink then she tells me the total... I'm like i just told the drink is no good she tells me"it's made exactly how it's supposed" whether it is or isn't the drink taste terrible either provide a refund or give me another drink. This coffee shop doesn't seem like it would belong in Dacula, but I think it's perfect! It's actually pretty big with great music and books and even a meeting room that's quiet to the public. The baristas are so nice. I tried a pumpkin pie latte (no not spice) and an iced chai latte (apparently an iced chai and an iced chai latte are two different things so be careful when ordering) and both drinks at first didn't seem great, but then after we let the drinks settle in for a minute they were amazing and grew on us. It was fun to sit and read books about coffee while drinking coffee. This place is perfect for studying. I didn't really notice if they had plugs or not though. Great vibrant decor. Oh and they have a piano. For pokemon go players: There are no pokestops, but there were a few pokemon that showed up on my game. read more
