    Chicken and Carrot Cake Waffle
    LaTasha A.

Chicken had a great taste, and so did the carrot cake waffle. Food (and service) are EXTREMELY slow. Checks for large parties will NOT be split, which is a HUGE turn off. So I will NEVER encourage a large party to attend.

I met a friend here for brunch on a Saturday. I have been wanting to try this place for some time now. We were seated almost immediately and the hostess was really nice. The dining area was packed a bit tight. The tables were close together, but it wasn't too bad. They are close though. I felt like the prices were a smidge pricey, but it's the Atlanta area. There is an automatic 20% gratuity if your party is over a certain limit or your total is over a certain limit. The food was absolutely amazing. My friend got chicken and waffles and it tasted so good. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy. I got a carrot cake waffle and stuffed sausage biscuit. Everything was good. We also had the gourmet grilled cheese sandwich and some juice. Our total for two people was $96. There is street parking if you can find it and a pay lot down the street.

The food is sooo delicious!! My friend's son recommended this Brunch. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday. They cook all food fresh. I had the peach French toast and it was on point! The customer service was superb! We ate all of our food. It was fulfilling. The ere was enough space to sit our party of 5. Our server took great care of us. The staff came out to sing happy birthday to her and she had a choice of a cornbread or chocolate shot as a free gift. The was a beautiful experience.

I came in for breakfast on a Sunday. This was the first time I'd eaten here because I've come in solely for drinks. The food was amazing. We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and opted for the "build your own biscuit " for entrees. There were two biscuits, so the portions were big. The food came out fairly quick and it was delicious. The server was okay. The restaurant played a great selection of R&B music. The high top chairs were comfortable. Overall, I'd absolutely visit again.

Sadly this brunch spot could easily be 5 stars. This was my third time in this establishment and has been met with a similar experience each time. Food is extremely good I ordered chicken and waffles and it was amazing per usual. My girl ordered catfish and grits which were also great. The downside was us having reservations and even after being sat we still ended up waiting for about 30 minutes just for someone to come to us and ask what we wanted to drink. There was a huge party directly beside us and even tables that were sat after us received their food as we were waiting for drinks. This is the only thing keeping me from ever dining in again. The ambiance was alright, if you can think of grass wall Atlanta brunch spots it gave the same vibe. If you're looking for a brunch place in Lawrenceville I would recommend ordering for pick up or going inside only when they aren't busy.

I went with a few girls on Saturday with high expectations honestly. We decided to start off with the crab dip and that was the best thing we ate. Super flavorful and the pita chips were well seasoned and that's where the seasoning stopped lol. Most of my table ordered the oxtail and grits and one of my friends ordered the chicken and waffles with a regular waffle. The oxtail and grits lacked salt and the gravy was more like a soup. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't order again. My friend said her waffle was good but the chicken also lacked salt as well. We also ordered drinks and it took extremely long to get drinks and I just had flavored mimosas. The place isn't that big and it wasn't packed at all so it didn't make sense why our drinks took forever. Overall I wouldn't make a trip up here again. Oh also automatic 20% gratuity

Loved that we were served immediately. Ambiance was nice, our server was kind and checked in enough. The shrimp and grits were seasoned so well and creamy grits were made with love. The fish and grits didn't meet my expectations but I enjoyed how crispy the fish was with every bite. What stood out to me were the wings. Fried to perfection, honey drizzled on top and side of hot sauce. What more could I ask for in flavorful fried wings. I will be going back again to try the stuffed biscuit and gravy and peach cobbler French toast. Sounds incredible.

I decided to grab breakfast after hearing about how amazing this place was, and boy did they not disappoint. Orlando greeted us and was our server. He was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and took great care of us! Highly recommend.

It was really good. Will try again! Fried chicken was good. My daughter had a strawberry smoothie. I had a mock mimosa, to die for!

Decided to go here with a friend on a Friday because we saw they had patio seating. We got there around 1pm and upon arrival we were told the patio was closed for that day. The restaurant is pretty but I will say the music seemed a bit too loud. I could barely hear my friend. It wasn't super busy (there were about 3 tables filled). Our server wasn't horrible nor exceptional good. She probably checked on us 2 times & we had to find someone to get her to give us the check. My friend had the grilled cheese and loved it. I had catfish and fries. The catfish was great, I feel like the fries were undercooked. I was excited to try the cold pressed juices they had but the server told me they didn't make any that day so I got a strawberry lemonade. It tasted very sweet , not much like lemonade. Overall the experience was decent. It probably wouldn't be my first pick for breakfast or brunch.

    Biscuits and gravy

The food is delicious and the portions are large, I am guaranteed to have leftovers!!!! We have gone on multiple occasions and each time was a great experience. I love taking family when they are in town visiting. Looking forward to our next visit.

If I could give a -5 star I would! My husband and I love supporting local businesses and we try to go get brunch almost every Sunday at one of the local restaurants but by far this one has made us the most disappointed! My husband ordered the steak and eggs and a cup of coffee and I had the omelette, breakfast potatoes with a glass of orange juice, also a bottle of water! I'm just now seeing that there was pork sausage added to my omelette on the inside when I pacifically asked the waiter if I could get steak instead! She replied "yes but it'll be an up charge" I was totally okay with that! Now as a Muslim who's never eaten pork before I'm beyond pissed for someone to be so careless and not listen to what I asked for! Now about the price, on their menu the steak and eggs is $27.99 and coffee is $2.99. Water was $5.00, orange juice $4.99, breakfast potatoes was $4.99, my omelette was supposed to be $15.99 plus the $9.99 up charge for the steak! Our total comes up to $71.94 before taxes! Now I know they have a rule about an automatic gratuity 20% tip for a party of 6 or $80 and over! But without my knowledge tip was already added and prices were changed on the food we ordered! Even after the prices were changed before taxes it adds up to $77.94! So when I saw that totally when the waiter showed me on the notepad I glanced and was okay with it and left her a tip as well not knowing what was happening! For anyone that has eaten there or likes to go there you need to ALWAYS ALWAYS CHECK before you pay! I will NEVER go there again and nor will I ever suggest them to anyone else! I will share pictures as well of their menu and my receipt! Aside from all that, we had our toddler with us and we had to ask four times before someone brought us a high chair for him. He was in my husbands arms the entire time while we waited for our food! Wait was at least an hour!

Past by this restaurant all the time, but never had a chance to try it until I saw it on IG yesterday. Ended up ordering 12 lbs of crawfish right away with 3 different flavors and OMG...it's so good! My whole household loves it. The flavors just hit the spot. Crawfish was fresh, not frozen. Some were decent size and some were small, but every bite was worth it. I did tried to place the order over the phone to avoid the $7.50 online platform fee (unavoidable even if it's through their website or app), but they said that I had to order it online because it was my first time. I've also ordered it 3 hours in advance for pickup, but when we got there, we still had to wait another 15+ minutes or so. I prefer to have it waiting for me to just pick up and go as I was on a time crunch. That's why I set it up at a certain time. Overall, I had recommended this place to all my family and friends. I can't wait to order from them again sooner than later being that it's crawfish season.

I know that they've recently opened another place in Winder, so I'm guessing that is where the owners are spending their time. Upon walking in there was a totally different vibe... not the usual warm welcoming one I've been use too. The woman at the counter wasn't really rude just very matter of fact yet the feeling I got wasn't inviting at all. It was 12:30 and not one table was taken except one lady and a child that I think belonged to the woman at the counter. The menu had changed so I asked if they still had the lunch special to which I was told they no longer had a lunch menu but they had a 1pc catfish with one side and drink. That's what I've always gotten as the lunch special and I was pleasantly surprised to see it had only went up like .90. I ordered my catfish blackened with red beans n rice along with tea. Asked what sauce and I chose tarter sauce and looked for the hot sauce that was usually out on another counter but it wasn't there so I asked for it to be included. My drink use to be half sweet tea and half unsweetened but no more unsweetened tea made there and the sweet is very sweet. My friend and I were dining in and said so when asked yet our food was still in to go containers. As you can tell by my picture the catfish piece was very small compared to what I use to receive but with today's prices I understand....BUT what use to be the BEST RED BEANS N RICE were awful! First they were separated and NO SEASONING at all! For the first time ever I had to go on the hunt for salt n pepper and guess what? No salt n pepper packets. No ketchup for my friends fries which also had changed and not for the better. Then the hushpuppies were tiny grease balls. While we were there only 2 other people picked up to go orders and one other person came in to eat. During lunch it use to be packed! I asked if the owners (delightful people) were at this location or the new one the woman replied both but there's no way either were there because of the food quality and over all atmosphere. I'm so sad and disappointed. I guess I'll have to find another place for my seafood or try the Winder location.

I attempted to order the crab and spinach dip with the garlic bread like I typically do at other locations, and my server told me if I were to order it with the garlic bread, it would be an additional charge and I would only get two. I was shocked. I've ordered that and other locations, and that was my first time hearing that I would be charged extra to swap out the bread and then on top of that only receive two pieces. I ordered the Texas redfish pontchartrain with mashed potatoes. I asked if I could add cheese, and I was told yes; however, when it came, there was no cheese, and our server took so long to return, I didn't even bother. In addition, by that time I was already turned off with the bland fish that had several bones, minimal sauce, and overcooked shrimp. I was extremely displeased. I wish I would have just stuck with a fried dish, such as the chicken tenders and shrimp. That would be a safer choice. Both the fried shrimp and chicken tenders were pretty good, but know that they have a kick. The brownie dessert was pretty good. It was actually the highlight of the evening after a disappointing meal. I will never return to this location.

Beignets. That is the only reason this isn't 1 star…read more If I'm being fair, the rest of my party enjoyed their food. So maybe it's just me. But my meal was bad. Very bad. I ordered jambalaya with the shrimp and crab gumbo as a side. Let's start with the gumbo-first, it was a gumbo with shrimp and cold shredded crab meat sprinkled on top. That's a first for me-gumbo is a hot spicy soup; cold crab meat on top ruins it. Why wouldn't you mix the meat in with the soup? If it's me, and this is how you make authentic gumbo, then it's me. But I've never had it like this and wouldn't want it like this again. Second, the crackers. Perhaps you should check the expiration date on your box of saltines, because serving your guests with saltines that are as fresh as a piece of cardboard sitting in the sun for a year is maybe not a great addition to the soup. Again, maybe it's me. Maybe you like cutting up your amazon boxes and dipping the pieces in your soup. If so, more power to ya-it's our differences that make us interesting. And on to the jambalaya. I have had jambalaya in New Orleans, and creole restaurants throughout the country. I have made my own. My jambalaya experiences have taught me this-if you want to have bad jambalaya, this is where you have it. The chicken was so dry (how dry was it?), it was as if it had been sitting in the desert for a month. The sausage and shrimp were moderately better, but only just. The rice was cooked pretty well, but given the tastelessness of everything else, there were no flavors for the rice to absorb. I loaded it with hot sauce and even still, barely ate any of it. It was bad. As mentioned at the top, the beignets saved this meal. 6 of us got 3 orders and they were good. Not cafe du monde (New Orleans) or Huey's (Savannah) good, but a respectable beignets with lots of sugar. I did enjoy these immensely. Our server was good. Friendly, attentive. But service alone can't save a poor food experience. Everyone else was happier. Po boys were apparently good as was my lady's salmon with a lime cilantro glaze. Kids seem to have enjoyed their meals.
