"The Big Easy Burger" Two smashed-seared beef patties layered with melted white American cheese, topped with smoky sliced mild andouille sausage and dill pickles soaked in jalapeno brine topped with Cajun burger sauce. I honestly don't know how this place has decent ratings. From the moment we walked in, the service was slow and disorganized. We waited way too long just to be acknowledged, and once we finally ordered, the food took forever to come out. When it did arrive, it was a huge disappointment. Everything tasted bland and like it had been sitting out for a while. My meal was barely warm, and the portion size definitely didn't match the price. For what they charge, you'd expect at least decent quality. The staff didn't seem to care either. No one checked on us, and trying to get refills or help felt like an inconvenience to them. Overall, not worth the money or the time. There are way better options nearby. I won't be coming back. read more

We visited on a Thursday, which happened to be bike night. The bikers themselves were friendly, but they were parked well beyond the designated area, making it difficult to maneuver around the side of the restaurant. Inside, the live singer was so loud we couldn't hold a conversation at our table. Had we known the volume would be that extreme, I wouldn't have brought my autistic son -- it was simply overwhelming. The food was also disappointing. Prices were about $3-$5 higher than they should be for what we received. One burger came out completely charred, the wings were bland, and the cocktails tasted like they barely had any alcohol in them. For the cost, the quality just wasn't there. Overall, between the noise level, the parking chaos, and the mediocre food, we won't be returning. read more

I've been coming here frequently over the past year and have generally enjoyed the establishment. However, recently the service has noticeably declined. On more than one occasion my fries have been forgotten with my meals. Usually this isn't a big deal because the staff has typically been accommodating when mistakes happen. Unfortunately, my last experience was different. When I noticed the fries were missing from my order and brought it to their attention (I had three but only two boxes had fries). They told me that one of the containers hadtwo orders of fries, which is not something I've experienced since going here they've always been separate. Also this was a to-go order placed through their website using DoorDash. After going back and forth, they assumed I was a DoorDash driver and said they believed "the customer had enough fries." The whole interaction felt very dismissive and disrespectful. It was disappointing, especially considering how often we've visited and supported this place over the past year. Because of this experience, we will no longer be returning. read more

We were there Friday for our last visit - and I mean we won't be going back. Been going there for years, and taking family and friends, to enjoy the pickle burger. The staff is always great! However the menu has changed and apparently the cooks too as was a VERY expensive night out (2 adults and 2 toddlers w/tip was over $100) and the food was HORRIBLE!! The kids sliders were like hockey pucks, the pickle burger was nothing like we had gotten in the past, and the fish & chips were obviously fried frozen and in old grease. Old Fountain Tavern is located in Dacula, right in front of the Ingles. I pass by this restaurant everyday on my way to work and I finally decided to stop by and grab some takeout. We ordered the Fried Pickle Burger ($11.99) and All American Burger ($14.99) and a side of Mac n Cheese. The burgers were ok, but a little dry. The fries were so crispy yet soft inside, YUM but the Mac n Cheese was meh. Overall the experience was ok. We ordered, and pay online and the food was ready within 10 minutes. If your person like to have a good, hang out a night with your friends, drink some beer, have some good food watch some games this will be a good spot to go to. I've been there a few times not for the above, but just to go there to get something to eat. The food is was great. They had a great salad when I went there. We came for Harry Potter trivia and we had a great time! They took reservations only for this event, and our table was decorated with Harry Potter decor and menus when we arrived. Trivia was very fun! Service was okay and the food was nothing special (burgers all came out after 45 minutes and incredibly overcooked. Totally understandable about the time with the trivia rush, but not worth the wait). We will be back for a drink and trivia in the future! read more

Went back for dinner by myself and had great service again! Corey was my server and he was awesome. Rese (spelling!) and McKenzie are fantastic! Ask McKenzie for a couple of her jokes!! The fried pickles were a touch mushy - but it didn't dull or diminish from the experience. The All-American Burger was amaze-balls! I was well taken care of and enjoyed my evening. They were short staffed that evening and I completely understood- as we ALL should during these times. Went again Sunday for Karaoke night. Doug, the DJ was awesome! Had another great experience. The sweet potato fries were the BEST ever, especially with the honey mustard dipping sauce Claire gave me. I've seen some complaints- honestly I'm sure if they had mentioned they weren't happy with the food they would've made it right. Everyone was very accommodating. read more

Old fountain tavern is located right off of auburn road and they have an outdoor patio for dining. The server was not the best which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The server basically took our order then ditched us outside on the patio. There was luckily another server or manager who noticed she never came back to check on us so she checked on us and brought us refills, but our original server was horrible. Food ate: - boneless wings (got charged 25% fee since there's recently been a wing shortage) but they were big and juicy, amazing wings Philly cheese steak: Great option, lots of flavor but a little small l, look at photo. Bacon cheeseburger: pretty good flavor but I messed up by ordering well done, next time I will get medium well. It's a good spot if you're looking for a new place to try in the neighborhood. I ultimately chose Wicked Weed Pear a sour beer. The Tavern started out pretty slow. I was the first customer In and slowly regulars started to tinkling in. I decided for my food item was steamed Mussels. The Mussels was good but the creamy sauce was wayyyyy too salty for my liking. A regular customer decided to get what I had as well, and said the same thing about the overwhelming salt content. But with a good beer we got through it. Chase was very concern about our satisfaction with our Mussels. And said he would mention it to the manager. Which I like that.... because he paid attention to the customs concerns. I was in the area and chose this location based on the massive menu options they have since we had a large group and I was excited to eat here. The food was lackluster, burnt even, and the service was even worse. The experience was a complete mess and a fail. Stopped by yesterday around 3 for a late lunch. I have been for dinner before and ordered online a few times in the past. The food is usually pretty good and that is why I try to overlook how over priced everything is on the menu. For example, the chicken tacos are around 15.00 and if you want cheese, they charge an extra 2.00... for putting cheese on tacos!! Yes to put cheese on 15.00 tacos. The chicken on my tacos tasted old and dried out. It had the texture of reheated chicken from either the night before or early morning prep. Usually I would just eat it anyway but for 17.00, no I just couldn't justify that. So I explained to the waiter (who was outstanding by the way) and he apologized and took it back to be remade. I was feeling really good about the prospect of fresh chicken since it was taking so long to bring out the replacement. Wrong! How can freshly made blackened chicken still be cold? Entire taco cold. I just thanked the waiter and took a few bites as my husband finished up his 16.00 chicken wrap. Overall the prices charged at this restaurant do not seem to coincide with the food quality or the decor (one side of our booth seat caved in when we sat down). Our highlight was our very kind waiter but other than that, this place needs some work. read more

The flight of beer was great price and the Pom-Rita fall drink was much larger than expected and amazing. The camp fire Martina was delicious. Wanted to get out to a new place, watch the game and get some bar food down. Stopped here- a bit out of the way to see what they had. Bar was pretty crowded, very local crowd but came in, got a seat at the bar and dove in. Started with a cold beer and then looked at the menu for a bit to see what I could get, and get one to go for my son. Went for the Beef on Weck. Like a giant philly cheese with roast beef, au jus, and a pile of fries. It as huge and delicious!! I highly recommend it and you won't be disappointed. Forgot I started with another treat- the mussels in wine sauce with toast. Perfectly cooked, good portion size and great appetizer while waiting on the sandwich and got a Mojito while I ate them. They know how to make Mojitos.... all kinds and good and strong. Tons of beers on tap, fun people at the bar watching the Falcons play, lots of TVs so I was happy. Got a another Beef/Weck to go an my son loved it. Will be back for a sports bar and glad I tried it since its near my fav sushi bar Greentea just down the street..Highly recommend this sports bar. Fun little place. Food is really good. We have gone twice now and both times were on Karaoke Sunday. That is really entertaining and I highly recommend it. I've had the pizza and it is better than most. Their spinach artichoke dip might be the best I have ever had. I also tried the boneless wing plate (can not remember the name of it) it's with Mac and Cheese on the bottom and comes on a skillet... VERY tasty. Wife says the chicken quesadilla is good. I took off one star, because the service can be a little iffy. The first time we went it was great but the second time was very poor. Overall, I will go again. read more
