My wife and I were in the area and had an hour-long wait for a Dentist visit in the same shopping plaza. We noticed this at the end of the strip mall and decided to walk in and try out an appetizer to share while passing the time. We ordered the small boneless wings with medium sauce and two unsweet teas. The plate came with fries and our choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing, we chose the blue cheese. It was 12:10 PM on a busy Wednesday lunch rush but our server was super attentive and took our order within a few minutes of us being seated. Our food order was on our table, fresh and piping hot before we had time to start on our drinks. The boneless wings were tender and juicy, and covered in sauce. The fries were hot and fresh and tasted excellent. The blue cheese dressing had large chunks of blue cheese and was spot on. It is a clean and comfortable dining room with a wood interior and is warm and inviting. While we normally order bone-in wings, they can be messy, so we opted for the boneless on this trip, and they were amazing. Best wings we have had in Georgia. While this is a trip from home, I would definitely make the trip when we are in Gainesville for the service and food we had today. Definitely a five-star experience in all categories. Staff continued to check on us during our meal and we had our check paid and were out the door at 12:45. Our entire meal and drinks came up to $10.69, which was plenty for us to share. Every time I walk in here, I'm reminded why I stopped coming in the first place. After quitting because of the way they repeatedly take advantage of customers, nothing seems to have changed. They've raised prices at least twice in the past year, yet fail to realize that losing customers outweighs any short-term gains. This isn't gourmet food--it's bar food at best, and overpriced junk at worst. I can get junk food for far less elsewhere. At best, they'll barely break even with these tactics. I always enjoy the Buford location and was hoping this one would be the same...unfortunately not. Instead of the shrimp tacos having full , plump shrimp, they are diced up into small chunks that amount to maybe two shrimps per taco and a lot of lettuce and bean/corn salsa. Got Togo food, fries were old, leathery and cold. The wings were good. The wrap had two shrimp. The one I used to go to was so good, but it closed cause of building complications. I wonder where those cooks work now. I would eat there. The host was a sweet nice girl. Too bad the food didn't live up to my past experience with buffalo's. Maybe they were having an off day. The wings are always better on the weekends. Not sure why but they overcook the wings during the week. I've sent them back and they've brought me another batch cooked the same way. I won't order wings there any longer Monday - Thursday. Wait staff are kind and do a great job. The managers alway come by the table to make sure everything was good. Love the wings and sweet potato fries! Not to mention every time we come in we HAVE to order their tangled Texas twists!! Their ranch dressing is the best! We come in to buy it for the house sometimes (it's the ONLY ranch my wife eats) so we have to make sure we have it in the fridge! Just stopped here recently to have some chicken wings with my son and niece. The manager on duty greeted us and was extremely friendly. Our server was fantastic as well and kept on checking on us to make sure everything was great. I removed one star because they do allow smoking in the bar, something that stinks if you are someone who wants to sit and the bar or play pool, here you are required to sit in a room full of smokers. The bar is closed off from the regular sitting area though, so only bar patrons are required to sit in smoke. Otherwise, everything else here was great. Their medium wings are superb. Stopped by and picked up some wings to go and they were pretty good. Been a while since I've been here and although the wings are pretty small the hot has a great flavor. Corn on the cob was good but still hard to believe wings are now nearly a dollar peas everywhere you go. Good service and pleased with the value so I'll be back. Got a delivery tonight and was missing drinks. Called the restuarant and was told my only option was to come pickup drinks. Also said they couldn't refund money because of online order. I have had mistakes made in the past and restuarant always refunded their mistake. Also recommend not to order extra crispy on the wings. I think 90% of my yelping is eating Buffalo wings all over the country and rating how authentic they are. These wings are very authentic for taste. They struggle a little bit on making them hot without changing the taste, and I found the "death valley" to be nowhere near as hot as expected and also a bit over sauced and sharp. But overall these were excellent wings that could have been served at any pizza joint in Buffalo. This location at least (I guess this is a chain?) has both a bar and a restaurant. The restaurant looks to be a family establishment. The bar however was loud and rowdy, and that is where we ate. Mondays and Wednesdays are all you can eat Buffalo wings. Three of us ate 9 dozen wings. There was some karaoke getting started when we left, and two real dart boards and pool tables. The crowd as a mix of good ol boys and middle aged professionals, with a smattering of what looked like southern hipsters maybe? There were several TVs showing sports but on the two nights we went no one was paying the least bit of attention to them. All in all I thought this was an awesome bar. Could use a better beer selection but this is Georgia not Portland so I didn't expect much in the way of variety. Only caveat: I guess this place is getting a reputation as a bit of a gay bar. While we did see a handful of gay and lesbian persons, personally I would not describe this as a gay bar by any stretch of the imagination. But I guess to the locals even a handful of gay people makes a place a gay bar, so if that is going to make you uncomfortable then maybe stay away. read more

I will not repeat the comments on the great service and food they provide. This is another story. While returning from vacation in the Blue Ridge mountains more than a month ago, we stopped for lunch. We forgot our expensive Nikon camera in the restaurant. We only realized that after several weeks, and in desperation to find it we thought that we could have forgotten there. Aware of the unlikely chance to recover it I hesitated to call the restaurant which I finally did last week. Not only they had found the camera while cleaning the booth where we had sat, they sent it to a safe place and upon my call they sent it back to the restaurant for us to collect - which we did this past Sunday. You would not believe the joy of the server who had found it when she met us! The manager was also very pleased that we had come for the camera. My husband and I went here for the first time yesterday. We are Vegan so we heard that they were offering 'The Impossible Burger', which is the best Vegan Burger ever made so far. It tastes amazing. No one would ever know they were eating a plant based burger. It tastes exactly like a real burger. I have been to Buffalo's Cafe for a very long time and each time I decide to go, I never get tired of it. Buffalo's Cafe is a very comfortable and peaceful place to eat at, if you are looking for savory meal this is the place to go! Things they have on the menu are burgers, steak, tacos, wings, chicken, and shrimp. Along with a variety of sauces and sides such as buffalo ranch and Death Valley sauce, and corn, garlic bread, and coleslaw. I have been going to buffalos since before it was renovated. The first time I went, I believe I was in either sixth or seventh grade and I went with my entire family for my sister's birthday party. It was a very happy and special night seeing how it was the last outside gathering my cousins and I had before some of them moved away. That night there happened to be a birthday clown there that made us all animal balloons. Which made all of us kids very excited and happy. They also had multiple employees come and sing happy birthday to my sister. I still remember how amazed I was at how good the food was, I remember how flavorful the corn and the fries were and how saucy the wings were. Also eating the mesa brownie for dessert was definitely my favorite part of the night. After that night, my love for Buffalo's grew. I always asked my parents multiple times if we could go eat there. We ended up going there multiple times after that for special occasions like Valentines Day. Then sadly Buffalo's Cafe closed down for a while due to renovations. After a year or so of it being closed down, they finally opened back up fully. The renovations made the place a lot bigger and spacious. Instead of being a small one-story restaurant, it changed into a two-story big building with indoor and outdoor seating. These renovations made the restaurant a very spacious and homey environment, which allowed for more happy customers like me who has a big family. After the renovations took place, I started getting back on track on how it was before. Such as going there to eat on holidays or special occasions. Though my parents' kind of grew out of the buffalo's scene, I now tend to go to buffalo's with my siblings but mostly my older sisters. My sisters and I have a very close and loving relationship, so having a go time restaurant is great because since we are all very used to the place, we all already know what we like and what to order: it's usually a fast process. When eating at Buffalo's a lot, you do get used to the wait. As a very impatient person like myself, it was very hard to just sit still while waiting but over time I seemed to grow out of that and found loopholes when waiting for so long for example; making conversations with family members, listening to music, or watching videos on your phone. But in reality, the wait is never too bad. Lastly, I remember one of the best experiences I had there, it was when I was celebrating my seventeenth birthday. My mothers birthday is the day after mine, so we are so used to celebrating our birthdays together. But sadly, that year my mom had to go to Mexico and missed my birthday, it was really sad and emotional for me seeing how it was the first birthday we spent apart. But luckily the rest of my family wasn't going to let that rain down on my birthday. Knowing my love for Buffalos, they decided to take me to celebrate. It was the first time I had gone for just my birthday and though my mom wasn't there, it was pretty perfect. The wait wasn't long, the food was delicious, and when they sang me happy birthday it made me feel very special and happy. Though I have had some experiences where the wait was extremely long and the waiters or waitresses were inconsiderate and rude. It hasn't happened enough times to outweigh the good experiences I have had there at Buffalo's! I, one hundred percent recommend this place. read more

I visit the bar 1-2 times a week for lunch and the restaurant sometimes in weekends with the family. I currently enjoy their lemon pepper wings and drinks when I visit.
