    The world's best biscuits!

You must get the biscuits at Buford's Grill -- they are the best we've ever had anywhere: crispy, light, perfectly seasoned. Tell Mary we sent you; she is an absolute delight Your coffee cup won't be empty, and your heart will be full!

This was a last-minute change as we were planning to go to the Mainstreet Deli that apparently does not serve breakfast anymore. Perhaps they should update their website, but I digress. We arrived, and only one regular couple was there as they were talking to the owner or maybe manager. We both ordered coffee, and they had to make a fresh pot but only brought one cup, so we asked for another cup, which our waitress promptly brought. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet with a biscuit and grits. She ordered 2 eggs soft with sausage and biscuit and grits. We saw the cook start our food, and I thought we were transported to a benihanna restaurant with the banging of cooking utensils against the grill. Ok, I got a chuckle out of it. The omelet had very little flavor, the grits were runny and grainy, and the biscuit was ok, as was the bacon. Her eggs were way beyond soft and rather runny, grits the same, and the biscuit and sausage were ok. Literally, the flavor was cooked out of the food, and salt and pepper did not help. The people there seem very nice but the food is not worth a return trip. I see 5 star reviews and simply do not get it. 2 stars was only because they were nice.

Great friendly service. The food was good and reasonably priced. I will come back for sure.

Came here as part of our exploring the neighborhood. The service was good and the food was pretty good. It seems to be a local favorite so it seems like it can get pretty busy at times. My son enjoyed his meal and my wife enjoyed her omelette. My breakfast was good as well. Like how this place is locally owned and operated and the owner seems nice so I will support when I can. Best wishes to Buford Grill and thank you for a wonderful breakfast. We will be back!

If you want to experience good old fashioned American style breakfast, please come and try Buford's Grill. When I entered the restaurant, I felt I went back to my childhood. Restaurant kept all retro style deco and family restaurant type friendly service. Food was excellent and served really fast. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture !

The last of the hometown diners this is a cute little place nestled away in Old Town Buford good down home breakfast. Nothing fancy just reminds you that you're still in the south. Remember to bring cash no credit cards accepted

Great local diner. It is exactly that. An old school diner but very good and brings me back to my childhood Grayson Cafe .

Overpriced low quality food. They charged me 15 bucks for eggs, cruddy sausage and coffee, all prepared badly. Avoid.

(Which... we did.) Love Potion Latte (Valentine's menu): Absolutely delicious. The strawberry aroma alone could convince someone to fall in love. And served in that giant Rushing Trading mug? A full commitment. Zero regrets. Brown Sugar French Toast: I added strawberries and bacon because I believe in living boldly. It paid off. Perfection. Lumberjack Special: That board comes out looking like it's ready to feed a small village. Not a complaint uttered. Service was great, our server was on it, attentive, and basically read our minds the whole time.

The matcha was weak - charge for milk was unexpected, $6.75. The staff were great, the ambience and slight smattering of decor inside was okay. Just not what we anticipated after seeing the description of a blend of European and Southern - small portions for the price. We might try again for other menu items, not planning to go out of our way since there are other more flavorful, better-priced brunch places around. $65.97 later, the two of us are headed to Starbucks for matcha.

Every dish was perfection!! Our server was awesome! She knew the menu and I gave her the 3 items that I had narrowed down to what I may want for her to pick for me... the quiche of the day with andouille sausage, shrimp, peppers, cheese and the most delicious light Flaky crust served with gouda grits that were outstanding! My plate looked like it had just came out of the dish washer I cleaned it so good ! Another person had the Eggs Benedict with the grits and he cleaned his plate as well. 3rd person got the turkey sandwich but on a croissant bc the sweet server said that was her favorite and boy it didn't disappoint... the 4th person got the strawberry pecan chicken salad that was massive! We lucked out by going on a Wednesday which is 20% off for seniors 65+ so we all received the discount! The coffee was great. The place is not huge but it is very clean and cozy feeling. Just slightly smaller than the First Watch we usually go to but the food was better and that's an accomplishment! It's in Sugar Hill, GA about 45 minutes from my house but definitely worth the drive. I already know what I'm having next time...creme brulè French toast with vanilla pudding... then the next time a banana Nutella crepe . You KNOW a place is FABULOUS when you plan your next 2 meals there! Definite 5 starts from us!

It just wasn't there which was really sad because we really wanted to like it, but sandwiches that should have had layers to them ( traditional club) had nothing and the bread was overly burnt. My mother-in- law ordered an avocado toast, ( we're from California, so we know how those are supposed to be made) - hers just had mashed avocados nothing else My husband and father-in-law had similar situations, the food was just really lacking.

I rolled in there hungry enough to eat the bumper off a truck and ordered the meatloaf ciabatta sandwich with hand-cut fries, and sweet mercy... somebody's grandma must be back there running the kitchen because that thing was borderline life-changing. The meatloaf was thick, juicy, and had that "somebody's been perfecting this recipe since 1978" flavor going on. The ciabatta held it together like a champ, and those hand-cut fries? Lord have mercy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- the kind you keep saying "just one more" until suddenly the basket's empty and you're thinking about ordering another. Now here's the real kicker: they've got gluten-free options, which means I can bring my wife this weekend without her looking at the menu like it personally offended her. That alone deserves a round of applause. So if you're anywhere near Buford and your stomach starts talking louder than your good sense, do yourself a favor and stop by. Just be warned: You might leave full, happy... and already planning your next visit before you even get to the parking lot.
