I really like this spot! It's big, bright, and clean, comfortable seating and good service. The chips were excellent, the food was great too. We thought the poke bowl was the best ever. We'll definitely be back! My favorite part, though, was the bathrooms. They have individual restrooms, but they're not unisex. I know that may not matter to everyone, but I appreciate having separate men's and women's restrooms. It's the little things! read more

Wow we had a great time and when i say great time Wheww a time was had . Me and my girls stopped by after an early dismissal from work and we were turnt up. They opened up at 11am and we were at the door ready for margaritas lol this was the day after my birthday and they have Monday margarita specials which the margaritas were $6 each and let me tell you 2 will do it to you if you know what i mean . The food was the bomb i can't remember what all we had but take a look at my photos and you will see lol . For it to be a Monday morning the vibe was definitely there the waitress was so nice and helpful the manager even came out to see if we needed anything he could help with . The Halloween decorations were so cool i love October hence birthday month but they did a good job setting up the Halloween decorations, plus they had lots of space and things that will make you want to take a picture it was like 3 cool backgrounds for photos of your a picture girly i definitely recommend trying this location very roomy. This is located in the new public plaza in Dacula. Having new restaurant options in our area is great. I was happy to see this open. I've visited several times to eat in and to take out. The decor is beautiful and the did is so very yummy. The rough spot for me is the service. It doesn't seem like there is a dedicated bar attendant to take orders. My friend and I waited quite some time at the bar before finally being able to flag down a regular server to order our to-go food. The server was friendly but it was clear that he was frustrated by having to take the order. At times table service is slow, I have had to request things more than once and sometimes just didn't receive things that I requested like jalapenos on the side that wasn't with the hassle of requesting again and again. Food was ready 5 minutes after we ordered it. The beef tasted like Taco Bell. I ordered Cadillac nachos without the pork (also comes with chicken and beans). They gave maybe a spoonful of chicken, the rest was beans. The chicken was also listed as charred but it was sautéed at best. The nachos got cold extremely fast because the air conditioning was blowing so hard directly above us. I won't be returning. read more

Have been here on multiple occasions. Today service was fast as always. Was served lots of complimentary chips and salsa (so good). We stopped by for a late lunch and we greeted right away by the manager. The atmosphere is bright and cheery and perfect for meeting friends for a margarita. The menu is very interesting with authentic Mexican and many fusion items and tapas. The salsa and guacamole were perfect and the chips were hot and fresh. I had the avocado tacos and street corn, my friends had the chicken burrito, fajitas, and carnitas street tacos. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We'll be back soon! read more

My family recently started going here to get food. The food is good, a bit overpriced but the service could be better. My husband ordered a Cadillac nacho and the cheese was left off and out. The GM told him that he could return for a fresh remade nacho and large cheese. He was pretty upset and didn't want to go back so I offered too so he could at least eat something. I called back and spoke with Henry Hernandez the GM and he said he was only willing to provide a large cheese. Now why would I or ANYONE want to drive 13 minutes just to get melted cheese???!!! I told him my husband was just told earlier that the nachos would be replaced, he stated my husband misheard! When someone pays for something it should be completed and everything provided! When the customer has to return they should be fully compensated! That's how you keep your customers happy and willing to return! We won't be giving our funds to an establishment that doesn't have this type of business model. read more

I love Tequila Mama! I went in for a late lunch. The restaurant was scrubbed clean. They had the appetizers on half price, so I ordered the wings and they were very good and decent size. I got the Cubano, Fishzizzle, and the carnitas tacos. They were all excellent and I would definitely go back again. read more

Have been craving to try this spot and when I finally did.... It wasn't what I expected. The ambiance, and set up is fair. As for the food I didn't see the value of it in what it cost. The menu that is provided has such small writing it is hard to actually read and decide on what you want. The Korean Krack Fries, now that I must say is great for starters but they don't give a lot. The street tacos were not as I expected. Maybe next time around I will see what their drinks are like. read more

The chips are thicker than regular mexican restaurants and they have table salt dumped on top of them. Our family wasn't a fan of them. I feel like the main draw is the alcoholic beverages. I placed an order online Friday at 4:30 and got a text 6 minutes later that the order was ready. When did they become a fast food restaurant. The only way my food could be ready in 6 minutes is if everything was already premade. I ordered a bowl the meat was tough and cold. I ordered the korean fries and they were old and cold. Wasted money. I don't know what has happened I used to love going to Mama. The quality has gone down. I hope they fix it before it's too late. read more

Taco? More like tac-no. Hostess's weren't that friendly and one didn't even look up at us and seemed to be not in a good mood. Guac wasn't anything special and was $12 for 3 small scoops. My guest couldn't even eat the fishizzle taco it tasted so bad. I had the Mexican style carne asada tacos and they weren't very good either. Music was very loud, and I'm glad i didn't come with my young kids cause they had songs playing all kinds of profanities. Came cause it seemed to have good reviews but we were not impressed at all. We had a wonderful meal here! And our server was fantastic. The chimi carne asada was excellent, I asked for medium and it was a touch less which is usually what good chefs will do. Kids wanted kids things so wings, which were really good and we eat a lot of wings. And other kid wanted the peel and eat shrimp. Odd thing for a Mexican place but they were better than many I've had at seafood restaurants. Wife's tacos were also excellent and she especially enjoyed the Mexican street corn. We got a flan to go and we forgot it at the table and went back to get it and it was gone!! They cleaned up so quickly. They brought us another right away without question and were so kind about it. It was crowded , But we got seated Quickly, Food was Very Good , Our waitress was Joali & she was Wonderful : ) . Very Friendly & was very Nice & Helpful and checked on us Often . I was hoping to find good Mexican food in town, but it was not good. I ordered the freshly made guacamole which tasted a lot like Wholly Guacamole. The corn chips were off brand chips from a grocery store and not the kind from the deli. My steak burrito was bland and the tortilla was barely warm. My partners crispy carnitas tacos were wet and the salsa was strangely sweet. I just had a soda so I can't comment on the tequila, so maybe that is good? read more

I've been twice since it opened. The first visit was a fews days after they opened and the service, food and drinks were fantastic. The second time, it was not as busy, but the experience was just as good. It's great to see new restaurants opening in this area. My husband and I definitely support this new business. read more
