I absolutely love Real Tacos, and the Lawrenceville location did not disappoint at all. You can really tell how fresh everything is, from the food to the overall experience. My forever favorites are the pork belly tacos and the picanha tacos. If I'm not mistaken, the pork belly tacos used to come with pineapple before, and now they only have onions. I truly miss that pineapple because it added such a special sweet touch. They are still delicious, but that little detail made them next level for me. The service was honestly a 10 out of 10. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and super fast. I also love that this location has a patio where you can sit outside, which is perfect on a nice day. Their cocktail menu is extensive and everything I've tried has been amazing. They also offer non alcoholic cocktails, which is great if you don't feel like drinking alcohol or if you're with kids. One thing I really appreciate is that they serve the salsas separately so you can help yourself and choose how much you want. One of my favorite dishes aside from the tacos is their esquites, which are a solid 10 out of 10. The costra tacos wrapped in cheese are also very popular and for good reason because they are insanely good. The only thing I would change is that they don't serve complimentary chips. For a Mexican restaurant, that feels a little sad since it's something we all expect, but that's just a personal wish. Everything else makes up for it. The place is spacious, very clean, the bathrooms are spotless, and the food comes out quickly. The picanha tacos with chimichurri and pickled onions are perfection. They also have 11 locations across Georgia, so even if Lawrenceville isn't close to you, it's worth visiting the one nearest to you. Don't skip dessert either because their tres leches is delicious. Overall, this place is a 10 out of 10 for me and I highly recommend it.

We stopped by Rreal Tacos in Lawrenceville and it was such a fun experience. They currently have their Christmas theme up and it's all Grinch-themed! The whole place looks festive and over the top in the best way. Definitely loved the vibe! They even have a special Christmas menu, which includes Birria Ramen and a Coquito Flight, of course we had to try it. The coquito flight was delicious and the drinks overall were strong, so no complaints there. For food, I ordered a Birria taco with consommé and a Costra taco with steak. Tacos were absolutely delicious, super flavorful and perfectly cooked. Everyone at our table loved their meals too. Between us we had chicken nachos, Birria ramen, and more tacos, and everything looked amazing. The only downside was the service was a little slow, but to be fair it was very busy for a Sunday night so we understood. Parking was also a bit tricky, so definitely plan for that. Overall, super fun vibe, festive holiday theme, strong drinks, and great food. We'll definitely be back! ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

Went to Rreal Tacos in Lawrenceville on the week of Thanksgiving. It was abundantly decorated for Christmas and has festive drink and food options. I started with the Rudolph cocktail and it was delicious and christmasy. I got three tacos: Tempura fish, shrimp, pork belly. I liked the shrimp and pork belly the best. The spicy pineapple margarita was also great.

First time trying Rreal Tacos, but I've always loved the look of their ambience and how they go all out for holidays! I got a frozen passion fruit margarita and the chicken nachos. The chicken is tasty and seasoned well. I didn't finish my plate because the portion was pretty big, and there was enough of all the toppings to enjoy. It was a little busy when we came in, probably because of Valentine's Day weekend, so our server took a little longer than expected to take our order, but the service was good overall. Will be coming back to try more of the menu!

This was the newest location of RReal taco. We could not make reservations because at that time it was not allowed. Probably because it was just opened and they were not ready or capable to take reservations. The line was wrapped outside the door for people waiting to get tables. I guess this is downtown Lawrenceville so there was nowhere to park. We did end up parking across the street somewhere. It was free parking there. I didn't see where there was street parking available. I know the food truck was out front and that took up parking if you are able to park there. It is close to apartment buildings and perhaps you could find parking there but everywhere we went it was very congested. One of the reasons I wanted to come here was because they have these speciality drinks called Margarita flight,Flavored Titanic and Titanics. I couldn't order either because you had to have a minimum of 4 guests. It was only 2 of us so that really disappointed me. At some point I will probably go back with friends but I was super excited to give those a try. Once we finally got in it didn't take really long for us to be seated. It was lots of people inside so the noise level was a little loud. The waitress was nice and the food was good. We ordered the birria pizza. It was delicious. We did get chips and salsa. This was the first time we had to pay for chips and salsa. All the taco restaurants I have ever been to were always free. They did have the 3 sauces on the table. For whatever reason I didn't really enjoy any of them. I did try them all just to see how they tasted but none of them were for me. They do have a nice variety of items on the menu so I will definitely be back to try some more things.

I finally got to go here after my husband had been raving about it, and I must say the hype is real! We came on a weekend and it was packed out. We had an hour wait which was fine, they had a booth outside for ordering drinks which was a super cool idea. We got the passion fruit Hennessy margarita and it was actually one of the best margaritas I've had and I don't even like Hennessy. Once inside I expected it to be a while before we were served but our waitress Millie (hopefully I spelled it right) was on top of it. We got our order in and within minutes our food was out. Everything was delicious! At the table we got the torta, dip trio, tacos, a bowl, and the birria. There were no complaints at all, each item was super flavorful and pricing was reasonable. For dessert we tried the tres leches which was again one of the best ones I've tried. We got drinks as well and overall it was a great experience. The vibe inside is nice and even better on the weekends. This is the spot if you want authentic Mexican food and a good time! Can't wait to come back and try other menu items.

My family and I went on a Wednesday evening to celebrate my daughter's birthday. While we did make reservations I did see people walk in. The restaurant itself is completely decorated for Halloween which add a little razzle dazzle. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. Everyone in my party was pleased with their order. I found the portions to be more than reasonable. We all had left over food. Its also worth mentioning my daughter loved and devoured the tres leche cake she was given in honor of her birthday. While this may not be your regular taqueria something still feels authentic in the food..its not watered down American Mexican food.

Taco platter: pastor, chicken, asada, chicken birria

Came here with a friend for lunch, and I will definitely be coming back for the food and the vibes!!! I'm sure you've seen social media posts about their holiday themed bars, and they go ALL OUT with decorations. Perfect for pictures, hangouts, etc,. We ordered the passion fruit margarita, chips and guacamole, and a taco platter (12 tacos, 4 proteins, 3 of each). On the platter, we got pastor, chicken, asada, and chicken birria. They were pretty good, but I wish they were more hot and fresh. And I do wish that the consommé came with the birria, but unfortunately that's extra unless you get the birria pizza. Good salsa variety and flake between the red salsa, salsa verde, and habanero salsa. Service was good, and our server kept coming to refill our drinks! Overall, definitely will come back again!!

Food was delicious, atmosphere is fun but not too loud where you can't have a conversation and the drinks are delicious. Recommend the upgrade in tequila not only so you can get a cute little ducky lol but it tastes better. The Picanha Steak Taco was my favorite and the queso with chorizo. Attentive service and prompt

I finally got the opportunity to check this place out. This restaurant is always crowded but we came here on a weekday for lunch and had no problem getting seated. To start out the food was exceptionally delicious, portion sizes were large and our waiter was awesome!!! I can see myself coming back here for date night, family night, office meeting or try out that flight of margaritas. Overall this place exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend trying this restaurant out.

Piero was so friendly and attentive! We came in tonight for our second experience at Rrreal Taco, and it's become one of our favorite night outs in Lawrenceville. Highly recommend the appetizer trio for the table - delicious chunky guacamole, queso, and smoky salsa. The chips are nice and sturdy, as I like them. The tacos slap, the drinks are wonderful, the price is right, and service is wonderful. Highly recommend! If you have a group, try the birria pizza. You won't regret it!

This location has only been open a few days and the level of service, food quality, kitchen timing and attention to detail is impressive. We arrived around 6pm on a Tuesday and there was already a line of folks waiting. We were immediately greeted by the host who started to take our name, but after spotting two open bar seats we beelined to grab those babies. We did it all, the margarita tasting flight, trio of dips with chips, a variety of tacos and have to say everything was stellar. We're still talking about the small details like food presentation, drink garnishes, overall service and vibes. WTG!!!!

What is wait time like on the weekend?

I used the Open Table app to make my reservation (which was recommended on their website) so I had a very short wait time under 8 min.

She was very attentive all while attending her other tables. We had the Nachos Mexicanos and the Frida's Guacamole. And when I say those 2 dishes was very flavorful. We usually leave with a togo box. The service and staff have always been very friendly and welcoming, which is something we've appreciated. Unfortunately, after eating at Frida's the day after Christmas, we both became extremely ill. Beginning the following morning and continuing throughout the day, my wife and I have been vomiting nonstop and experiencing the exact same symptoms, including chills. We can't say for certain what caused it, but the common denominator is that the last meal we both shared was from Frida's. The timing and severity of the symptoms are very concerning, and if my wife's condition doesn't improve, we may need to go to the emergency room. This has been a really upsetting experience, especially given that we've trusted this restaurant in the past. The atmosphere is warm and typical for a mom and pop restaurant with no concerns to mention. We live less than 2 1/2 miles from Fridas and consider them as our go to Mexican restaurant. I'm sharing this not to attack the staff, who have always been kind, but to honestly report what happened and hopefully encourage extra attention to food safety and quality.

The manger we spoke to was also very rude and unapologetic of actions and proceeded to encourage us to dispute the charge via our own bank accounts. Very unpleasant and rude staff which was disappointing considering we order from here multiple times. Would not recommend for corporate lunches and was disappointed in the lack of empathy or apologetic manner from the entire staff.

I had no idea who owned it before walking in (though I later read it's run by a mother and daughters team), but as soon as I stepped inside, I could feel the care and pride that's clearly been poured into this space. The interior is clean, colorful, and welcoming--everything from the decor to the spotless bathrooms signals that cleanliness and presentation matter here. I stopped in around 1 PM on a weekday and found a calm, relaxed atmosphere with three other tables of customers. There was one server on duty who managed the space well--attentive without being intrusive. She brought out complimentary blue tortilla chips and salsa. While the chips weren't fresh-made, they were decent--especially considering they're free. For my meal, I ordered the Veggie Fajitas with corn tortillas. The vegetables were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Both the rice and beans had great flavor. The only real downside? The portion of refried beans was tiny--maybe two tablespoons at most. When I asked about it, the server mentioned it was due to "portion control," though that reasoning felt a bit unclear. She also said that their refried beans and black beans are vegetarian (which is unusual - most restaurants the refried beans are not). All in all, despite the just-okay chips and the skimpy bean portion, Lolita's delivered where it matters: flavor, cleanliness, and service. With a few small tweaks, it could easily be a 20 out of 10. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine, definitely go give them your support. Local gems like this deserve to stick around.
