    The works

This was my second time here since it opened a week ago. The first time was at lunch time and my girlfriend and I sat at the bar. Nice interior and very much on brand. Ordered the smoke salmon frittata. It took a minute but was really good. My friend ordered the salmon Benedict which looked amazing. Just went there today for much with my hubby. It was an 1.5 hour wait but the bar was open again. Waited to have it cleared but got to sit down right away. Ordered the Tri athlete and my hubby ordered the works omelet. Took close to 40 minutes but food is super fresh and tasted great. The veggies were really good in my omelette that came with homemade pico, toast and fruit cup everything was very good. My hubby's food looked great. He said it was large.

Food was outstanding and service was top notch! No complaints. I ordered the Bacado omelette with a side of the million dollar potatoes and blackberry sweet tea. Those potatoes could be the best potatoes I've ever eaten. The waitress said they are life changing and she might have been right lol! My daughter had the carrot cake pancake (singular because no one could eat two....) and took some home after she was stuffed. It was great. She also had a honey crunch coffee that was to die for. Give them a visit, they just opened and they are right on the mark for breakfast and lunch! Truly spectacular!

We tried Porterhouse for the first time tonight and were really looking forward to having a new restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed. When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty--maybe seven cars in the parking lot. We were asked if we had reservations, which surprised us given how slow it was, but we were seated quickly. Service started off well. The bread was delicious, our drinks arrived promptly, and our server recommended the Chicken Marsala and the Steak Frites. We ordered both, requesting the steak cooked medium rare, and our son ordered the shrimp tortellini. The food arrived looking great, but that's where things started going downhill. The Chicken Marsala had a lot of mushrooms, which wasn't a problem since I enjoy mushrooms. However, we were only given forks. We waited a few minutes hoping someone would notice, but no one did. My husband eventually got up to ask another employee for knives. After waiting several more minutes with no luck, our server finally came by, and we asked her as well. A couple more minutes later, we finally received them. Our son's shrimp tortellini was very good. The steak, however, was extremely tough and difficult to cut. Once my husband cut into the center, it was clearly cooked medium instead of medium rare and had an unusual gray color. He tried a few bites anyway, but it was tough and lacked flavor. We asked for it to be removed, and he reordered the shrimp tortellini instead. While we waited for his replacement meal, I continued eating my Chicken Marsala. It was edible, but very bland. I make Chicken Marsala often, and this version lacked seasoning and could have used more Marsala wine in the sauce. Since we had already waited so long, I chose to finish it rather than send it back. During all of this, a family was seated next to us. They sat there for approximately 15 minutes without anyone greeting them, bringing water, offering bread, or even acknowledging they were there. Eventually, they got up and left. No one stopped them or even seemed to notice. What disappointed us most was that a manager never came to our table after the steak was sent back. For a brand-new restaurant, I would have expected someone to check on the situation, apologize, or at least ask how they could make things right. We ended up spending about $125 and left feeling very dissatisfied. We truly wanted to like Porterhouse and hope they work through these issues, but based on our experience, I would recommend saving your time and money and trying one of the many other great restaurants in the area instead.

Very Long Wait and Service was just ok was told 30 min wait and end up waiting 1 hour and 30 mins

Food was great, but they are short on staff. Took same time to get the food and we ask for extra dressing and it just came after we were done.

This place is running like a fine oiled machine. Pleasant environment, super clean, super fast. Manager is very sweet and welcoming.

Trying to keep this short because I was taught if you have nothing nice to say don't…read more Stopped by after an engagement coordinated with Chateau. Not mine. That went very well so we wanted to check out the space and food at Versailles as a possible wedding venue. Walking through the hotel there were no greetings from concierge. With possible wedding guests staying on the grounds that was a red flag. The "restaurant" itself was giving food court. The host standing at a stand in the middle of the room was weird and probably uncomfortable for the actual host. She was also the only "professional" one there during our visit. Wait staff was not put together at all, as well as the possible person in charge. I'm talking sloppy, questionable hygiene, and under the influence of somethings. Food was cooked well for the most part. My risotto was definitely undercooked and when I notified the gentleman (manager?) he asked me if I wanted to keep the fish and just have the risotto redone. We tried to scoop the fish onto a plate at the table but he ended up just taking the whole plate. That whole thing was odd. New remade dish was the exact same. I honestly started questioning my palate. But no, it was undercooked. I love an al dente pasta but like that pasta was hard and sticking to my teeth type undercooked. Grateful for my sealants. LOL The rest of our food was cooked very well. We ordered a bottle of wine. Received a cheaper wine that server opened at the table. She changed it out. We paid, left, no farewells from any staff. The whole experience was an experience. We did not choose Chateau as the wedding venue.

Servers were nice and our meal was comped, but even after providing table fans to deflect the flies, it was hopeless. I ended up eating oatmeal and a banana before the flies could get to it.

Our server? A gem. First visit, a "million questions", and he answered every single one like he was hosting a Food Network show just for us. Drinks: "Ah yes... civilization." My husband's term for "yes, they do have beer! ". I ordered the Espresso Martini. They ask: creamy or dark? I chose dark because I like my martinis the way I like my humor. It was flawless. We skipped appetizers because we like to live dangerously. Seafood Pasta: This dish came with so much seafood I started checking for a Coast Guard warning. Mussels, clams, shrimp, lobster, basically an entire cast of Finding Nemo. Flavor was incredible. I just needed a few more noodles to keep the peace between carbs and protein. 1855 Prime Filet & Brussels Sprouts: Let's talk onions. Some restaurants give you three sad little onion scraps like they're being rationed. Marc said, "No, no take ALL the onions." Do you see the picture of the Brussel sprouts? We'll look at the top of the photo.... Under that glorious pile was a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak. No photo because my husband attacked it like it was the last steak on Earth. Crème Brûlée: It was good. I'm not here to slander dessert. We respect crème brûlée in this household. Will we return? Absolutely. Just know this is a "go big or go home" date night. But trust me....it's worth going big.

We enjoyed the Pearberry which was light and delicious, as well as the Japanese Old Fashioned which my partner thoroughly enjoyed. Although the price for bacon seemed hefty, it's almost a slab instead of slice of bacon. It's a solid portion and very thick and deliciously coated in a sticky sweet sauce that we enjoyed. We were having a great time and were in great spirits but it took a turn once we were seated for the dining portion of the experience.. I think our experience came from the person manning the meats, who in our opinion doesn't know proper temp checks. We ordered multiple filets, ribeyes, and a tomahawk at our table of 5 and every single one was under. We asked for medium and medium rare throughout our table, but they all arrived severely underdone. The tomahawk was the biggest disappointment, when you pay a hefty price, you expect better results.. but it was raw, because rare doesn't even really describe it. We are not the type to make a fuss, so we just ate our steaks and asked for sauce to make them palatable. The flavor was there but it was very subtle, it could used a bit more seasoning. We relied heavily on the sides and our prior experience at the bar to keep spirits up. The reason this review isn't worse is because regardless of our dining experience, our bar experience was superior and I'd go back strictly for that. I would try it again to see if the cook has gotten better but not for a while.
