I went to Putt Nation after Christmas with a large group of my family. The concept is cool, but a few things need to be attended to. The pour your own beer wall had lots of issues. The premade cocktails were terrible and half the taps didn't work or the beer tasted stale. The food menu had well priced options and the apps were good for playing and snacking. The space itself is tight. The walkway next to the putting course is small and the staff and patrons are all squeezing by each other. I liked the TVs around the booths to watch the football bowl games. And the staff was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. It was fun for the kids, but definitely wouldn't recommend for just an adult date night until they get the beer wall better taken care of. My husband and I ventured here after purchasing a Groupon to just do something fun and it didn't disappoint. It's a decent sized indoor putt putt place with a selection of food, 18 different putt putt holes and small sitting areas with some drinks on tap. Went here last night/on a Saturday. Surprisingly it was incredibly slow but the staff said that's not normal. I'm guessing it's because it's so close to the holidays. To be honest, while we felt bad for the staff, it was wonderful to have the place to ourselves. It was my best friend and ice birthday and was staff really made an effort to celebrate that. They brought us a free dessert and were super nice. Unfortunately they offered us a free game but we had already paid for two. Still a very very nice thought. If it's not very busy and you're not waiting, I would recommend just paying for two games because it was nice to experience both horses. One course did not take very long and it was fun to play. It was nice to have two people and I can see a small group being great as well. I loved that the bar was self-service. I got a wine and it was reasonably priced. They also have mixed drinks and Beer on draft. Hart seltzers too. I would've preferred some better wine options but I was still impressed and grateful nonetheless. We did not try the food but the cake was definitely your typical American food energy. We got it for free but left a tip of course so I left extremely happy. Overall I think this was a great course. The theme of the mini golf holes were so fun and definitely added to the experience especially if you love carnivals and or casinos. We ate first and the partook in the fun of the "drink wall". They had wine, beers and cocktails to choose from. You get a wristband that unlocks the "pour" feature and you pay by the ounce. I tried about 4 different cocktails. They even had a patron margarita. The sliders were good but didn't taste like White Castle...IYKYK! The flatbread was definitely a hit! If I could give this negative stars I would but 1 star will do. We went there on a Wednesday afternoon, a little after 2 pm to celebrate my sister's birthday and it was empty as expected for a Wednesday but the two staff members who were working, didn't make us feel welcomed - AT ALL. When we asked what to do to get started since we had never been there before, they made no effort to give us help on how to get tickets other than point to the kiosks at the front. When it came to ordering our food, they acted like we were asking them to make us a feast when all we asked was for chips and queso + garlic parmesean tater tots which in my opinion tasted like they had been made in a microwave. After realizing that we weren't going to have a good time just based off the food service alone, we decided to leave and they made no effort to ask why we were leaving early and almost seemed relieved that we left. We came on a Monday when no one was there so he gave us some pointers on how to get a hole-in-one on some of the courses. The circus & casino themes were unique. I liked that there were electronic touch pads at each station to keep score (and a place to set our drinks). The wristband and self-pour station were a bonus!! Didn't have the food or drinks so I cannot comment on it. There is a bar and people who were dining looked happy about their meal. Solely came for the miniature golf. Staff were helpful and quick to assist. If your ball happens to fly or roll out of the area it is a bit of a hassle to retrieve it since there is only one "gate" opening to go in and out of the area. That includes if you need to use the restroom. It was easy to move along and scores were inputted in at each station. Once you move from the 9th hole to 10th hole you do need to remember your code to continue your game. read more

Our only complaint was that the actual putt-putt was kind of a mess. We made a reservation and ended up eating and waiting about an hour because of how backed up it was. We stopped by here because it was new, and wanted to check it out. The presentation was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. It was a Friday night, so we made reservations but realized we really did not need them at this time. There were only a few other people in the facility. We were briefed on how to use the system, and then we were on our own. While the place is nice, it is certainly a little different than the Putt Shack if you are trying to compare. The biggest difference is the size of the space. This place is very small but laid out pretty well. Since we thought it might be something like the other putting place, we booked both games when we made our reservations. To be honest, one game would have sufficed. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a good time, but we were bored by the time we got to the second round of putt-putt. Now, on to the food... it was just okay for bar-type food. I mean, I would certainly order there again if we decide to go back. My favorite part was the tap wall, and I think it's creative how you order your drinks with the wristband. I brought my niece/god daughter here for some fun. She was very excited! We wound up doing both courses. You pick your putter and ball. I love that you can go out of order and it's good because it can get crowded quick with multiple groups playing on the same course. It does get a bit congested which is why I take a star away. They also serve food and have a decent amount of seating and plenty of beer to select from. It's cute that the iPad keeps score, but you have to put in a automated code in at each hole. We found a Groupon with an 8% discount and decided to try this place out. First issue is that they charge a 6% processing fee if you use Groupon. Hidden fees. For starters, I enjoyed my time at Putt Nation... However, there are definitely some notable things that should be said just so you're aware of what you're getting into prior to coming. First thing is while this is an indoor mini golf/putt putt course, it's no where near as grand or intense as Putt Shack or Top Golf. It's very minimal and would (in my opinion) be fantastic for kids but a very underwhelming for adults. Next, please note they are new so being new comes with it's own set of growing pains but there was A LOT of stations broken/not properly functioning as they should so this made golfing slightly more challenging that it already is. As I mentioned before, this place is great for kids because it's miniature and I felt like a giant trying to maneuver around the corse. Having items not work as they should made that maneuver even worse. Lastly, The food and drink station is not the best. While it's a great thing to have it's not something I would recommended spending your money on. The drink options were plenty as they did have a full wall of tap beer and wine options but the food was pre-heated / re-heated dishes. They all tasted like cardboard and we even received one dish not fully cooked/frozen on the inside. All in all, if you have a group of kids or even just want to bond with your own child for a reasonable price, I would say maybe lunch/dinner and Putt Nation would be great. This place is so fun & they are conveniently located next to the Mall of Georgia right out Interstate 85! I came here for Sunday Funday and it was the perfect activity. I also think this could be a great place to go on a date or to bring the entire family to! They have over 10 fun and interactive mini golf courses that are each unique and challenging. If you get hungry after playing, don't worry, they have a full food menu that has some of the yummiest fast casual bar fare. I highly recommend the sesame hot wings and the pepperoni flatbread. Be sure to save room for the cookie skillet! It is served warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream! My favorite part of Putt Nation is the self-serve drink wall that they have. They will give you a wrist band that will have drink credits loaded to it. You can choose how many ounces of each beverage you would like to drink by just pulling the handle.
